As the car drove into the garage, Chen Rancheng made an excuse to get something from the trunk, following behind Shen Tinghe a step behind.
There's a light in the entryway, on the right-hand side as you enter.
Shen Tinghe pressed the button, but only heard a sound without the light turning on.
I thought I had accidentally pressed the switch too far and it bounced back, so I pressed it again.
Even after pressing the button and not immediately removing it, and making sure it was fully depressed, the light still didn't turn on.
Shen Tinghe subconsciously turned back to find Chen Rancheng.
"The lamp is broken."
When Chen Rancheng arrived, he took her hand and groped around at the door. Shen Tinghe didn't know what he was fiddling with, but she heard him say, "Try again."
After the two confirmed their relationship, Shen Tinghe stayed at Chen Rancheng's place almost all the time, except when she had to go to her early shift and returned to her apartment.
Chen Rancheng complained that Shen Tinghe's rented apartment was too small, had poor soundproofing, and the lights in the hallway were always unstable, turning into a nitpicking, fault-finding person.
Indeed, the house didn't seem big when Shen Tinghe lived alone, but it looked especially small with Chen Ran in it.
Young Master Chen, born into wealth and privilege, could hardly endure such hardship.
They could live in a slab building without water or electricity, and they could live in a dilapidated building ravaged by gunfire, but they couldn't live in Shen Tinghe's small apartment. They insisted that she move in.
With a "click," the small light tube embedded in the wall lit up, and stars fell.
The extended corridor was filled with flowers, in blue and white tones, jasmine and white roses, with petals scattered around, forming a flower path.
Atmos balloons of varying heights hang in the air, extending all the way to a small round wooden table draped with gauze in the central hall.
The round table was also filled with bouquets arranged in a staggered manner, with an envelope placed among the flowers.
The fireworks exploded without warning, and Shen Tinghe's mind went blank for a moment. All her previous plans were slowly wiped away on the way home, and she stopped in her tracks.
Brown eyes reflected a romantic and dreamy surprise. Still a little dazed, she blinked her dry eyes and turned to look at Chen Rancheng.
He was still holding his own hand, and his dry palms had become slightly damp and warm without him noticing.
I squeezed it with a little force.
Chen Ran lowered his eyelids and coughed awkwardly.
He gently pushed Shen Tinghe's hand, gesturing for her to move forward.
In the central hall, there was a wall of balloons and flowers, heart-shaped, as delicate as clouds in the sky.
Shen Tinghe picked up the envelope from the small round table.
marie-toiavecmoi (Marry me)
Memories were ignited in his mind, transporting him back to their second meeting as if across time and space.
He vouched for her, and the French script was just as beautiful.
Chen Rancheng's throat bobbed, "After being with you, I became very greedy. I greedily wanted to be everything to you, greedily wanted to be your husband."
Chen Rancheng spoke slowly, his eyes fixed on Shen Tinghe, tracing her features with his gaze.
He pulled out a ring he had hidden in his pocket, knelt on one knee, and asked, "Are you willing? Are you willing to grant my wish?"
To you, I am like sugar water; we are intertwined, inseparable.
The custom-made diamond ring, engraved with Shen Tinghe's name, has a sparkling diamond that faintly shimmers with pink light.
Tears welled up uncontrollably in her eyes. Wasn't she also a greedy person? Her throat, which was sticky and constricted, made an indescribable sound. She cleared her throat and stretched out her fair and slender hand.
"willing."
The ring slipped onto my finger, and it felt like an electric current was shooting through me, a tingling, numbing sensation that traveled straight from my finger to my heart.
Shen Tinghe saw herself reflected in Chen Rancheng's eyes, slowly magnified, slowly.
The soft area behind her ear was held in her palm, her fingers brushing through her hair.
Chen Rancheng's gaze fell on her lips and then returned to her, his eyes shimmering, his mouth opening and closing, before finally settling back on her parted red lips.
Shen Tinghe's long eyelashes trembled slightly, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it was about to rupture her fragile heart membrane.
The lips in my eyes got closer and closer, until finally they were blocked by my nose.
You'll feel it when you can't see it.
Her soft lips covered mine, and she gently sucked on them.
As she left, Shen Tinghe took a deep breath, looked up at him, and her eyes seemed about to overflow with tears.
It would take a few seconds to fall into the drowning net, but Chen Rancheng was willing to enter the net after Shen Tinghe only glanced at him.
The pure aroma of red wine exploded in my mouth, making it hard to tell whose mouth it was. The upper lip was aggressively invaded by my tongue, the coarse texture leaving a slight sting as it traced across my soft, delicate uvula.
Some pain can be pleasurable.
Shen Tinghe enjoys this.
The sounds of kissing and pecking continued. After a while, Shen Tinghe stared blankly at Chen Rancheng's pale lips, and then, as if thinking of something, her lips slowly curved upwards.
"What's so funny?"
Shen Tinghe smiled and asked, "Do you know when I first met you?"
first?
Chen Rancheng suddenly thought of that afternoon when she sat by the window, eating ice cream with Dou Le, the sunlight gently shining around her.
But it was clearly not the right time for her to ask that question: "Ice cream?"
Something was definitely wrong.
Shen Tinghe put her arm around his neck. "I first saw you on the train to the South of France. You were carrying a suitcase and you passed by my carriage."
"I was thinking, 'Wow, this guy is so handsome!'" she drawled.
Chen Rancheng laughed helplessly at her teasing, "You wanted to sleep with me at first sight?"
"No, that's not true." She's not that kind of person.
She spoke with absolute certainty, and noticing that Chen Rancheng's expression had turned somewhat sour, she quickly tried to salvage the situation, saying, "You're the first person I want to sleep with."
"The first one, what about the second and third?"
"No, it's all your fault."
Shen Tinghe touched his long eyelashes, feeling a ticklish sensation as they slid across her palm. "Now this handsome man is my husband."
When she uttered the crisp sound of "husband," Chen Rancheng felt a shiver run through his heart.
She had never moaned before, and he had never forced her to moan in bed.
"Say it again."
"What?"
He pinched the soft flesh of her waist, narrowed his eyes, and said, "Pretending?"
Shen Tinghe feigned sudden realization, "Oh, so that's what you call husband."
She deliberately paused on the word "husband," but didn't just say it out loud.
Chen Rancheng couldn't do anything about her.
