Chapter 17 It's Not Easy for Anyone

Chapter 17 It's Not Easy for Anyone

Kong Sha is not a good person. Everything she does for Thor requires Thor to pay a price.

Kong Sha chuckled, "What are you afraid of? Didn't you drink the medicine happily last time?"

The last time, Thor was just a servant, and faced with the threat of death, he had no power to fight back.

And this time there are still three months before the first test.

Thor now has some ideas about how to become stronger, but he naturally doesn't want to spend his future on a potion with unknown side effects.

"There is no problem with taking this medicine in the short term, but if you take it for a long time, it will overdraw your potential and consume your vitality. When it is all consumed, you will naturally die."

Kong Sha changed the subject and said, "But if you work harder, you might be able to become a Level 2 apprentice before your potential is exhausted. Then you won't have to forcibly increase your magic power, and you can use witchcraft research to gain achievements, and you can also pass the test every six months."

After she finished speaking, she lifted up the small medicine bottle and shook it. The transparent liquid in the bottle rose and fell, full of temptation.

"Overdrawing my potential." Thor stared at the bottle of potion and sighed softly, "If I really take it for a long time, will I never be able to become a formal wizard?"

"Ha!" Kong Sha almost died of laughter at what she heard. "You don't have to be so optimistic! Even I am not sure that I can be promoted to a formal wizard."

Although this sentence was not stated explicitly, it basically confirmed what Thor said.

"I'm sorry, Senior Kong Sha, I can't take this medicine." Thor lowered his head, but his voice was firm.

Kongsha's smile disappeared, and she stood up and looked over Thor's head.

Inside the glass cover on half of the head, five or six eyeballs appeared densely packed, tightly attached to the glass, staring at Thor fiercely.

Although he didn't look up, Thor could still feel endless pressure and fear.

After Thor turned pale and his body began to tremble, Kong Sha chuckled and retracted her eyes.

"Do you think three months is a long time? Since you don't want to, I won't force you. However, when you regret it and come to beg me, I will need to do more than just this."

After saying that, Kong Sha seductively walked around Thor and out of the dormitory.

After a while, Thor turned around to look at the closed door and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

He was sweating profusely, and when his hand touched him, the sweat gathered into beads and slid down the corners of his eyes.

Although it was terrifying, Thor had to refuse Kongsha's potion.

Firstly, he couldn't allow himself to become Kong Sha's puppet and gamble his life on the other party's kindness.

Secondly, as a time traveler with a hardcover book on his body, he could not be satisfied with his future as a second-level wizard apprentice.

The wizard's door had been opened a little to him, and just a glimpse was enough to make Thor fascinated.

"Am I born lucky? Why do I always encounter various dangers? It's too difficult to survive in this world!"

There is West Germany in front, Konsha in the back, and Mark in the middle has an unclear attitude.

There is Katz above, Brown below, and Duke is hiding something bad around him.

Are there no good people in this wizard tower?

Couldn't he just live like an ordinary apprentice, studying hard and not encountering an enemy every step he took? Because of the shock just now, Thor's hands and feet were still a little sore. He barely moved two steps and then let himself fall on the bed.

"After rejecting Kong Sha, I can only find ways to become stronger on my own for the time being."

Thor covered his eyes with his left hand, and the cold, hard white bones stung his eyelids.

"Fuck it, the worst that can happen is I'll just give up and die! I still have classes tomorrow... go to sleep!"

With only half a night's sleep and intermittent nightmares, Thor couldn't rest well at all.

But he still got up early in the morning, with dark circles under his eyes, and found George who was working on the fourth floor before class.

George was very excited when he saw Saul coming. He had to clean the corridor in the early morning tomorrow. Although he might not encounter any problems, it would be better not to go.

As long as Thor valued him, other servants would not dare to assign him dangerous tasks.

"Sir, are you here to take me in as your personal servant?" George's eyes were shining.

"Not yet."

George was still a child, and he immediately showed a disappointed expression, but he quickly cheered up, "I know, sir, George is always looking forward to serving you!"

Saul got down to business, "Has anyone come to see Brown these days?"

George shook his head, "Everyone is together during rest time, and he is always there then. But I don't know about him at night."

Saul thought that perhaps the person who instructed Brown to target him had not appeared yet.

He asked in a different way: "Before that, after I was injured, did you ever see a blond young man of eighteen or nineteen come to see Brown?"

Thor described the appearance of the second-level apprentice Sid.

After hearing this, George opened his mouth wide.

Seeing George's expression, Thor immediately asked, "Have you seen it?"

George stammered, "Sir, I didn't see him come to Brown... But, but, isn't the man you're talking about the one who hit you with a book... and hurt you?"

Thor's eyes widened.

His incomplete memory had never told him who killed the original owner of the body. After George reminded him, pictures suddenly appeared in Thor's mind.

The fear sealed by death burst out in an instant.

It was a large, bright but still eerie room.

There were rows of towering bookshelves.

He was a blond young man with a strange look on his face, constantly taking books out and putting them back on the bookshelf.

There were a few vague whispers about "diary".

The latest novel is published first on Liu9shuba!

That was the angry expression he saw when he turned around.

It was a hardcover book as thick as a palm that was thrown at him casually.

It was a dizziness mixed with intense fear and a pounding headache.

It was deathly quiet and dark...

Thor was shaking, shocked.

What surprised him was not the discovery that Sid had killed "himself", but the hardcover book.

It was actually the hardcover book floating on his left shoulder!!!

Thor always thought that the hardcover book was a benefit, a plug-in, and a golden finger for his time travel.

Unexpectedly, the hardcover book was actually something original to this world!

He resisted the urge to look over his left shoulder.

Then he thought of the word diary he had heard from Sid, and the familiar format of the words appearing on the hardcover book...

Was the thing Sid was looking for the hardcover book that he had casually thrown over? Thor sneered.

I don’t know if Sid realized it.

If the other party finds out that the hardcover book is what he is looking for, then there would be a reason for the many murderous intentions that Thor has encountered in recent days.

Saul didn't know how to separate the hardcover book, and there was no way he would give it up.

"Then it's a fight to the death." He thought to himself, and he didn't feel scared anymore.

Looking up, he saw George looking at him anxiously. Thor softened his expression and said, "Okay, go back. I'll transfer you out when I'm settled."

Now George was happy. With Thor's words, his life could be extended for several years.

After leaving the jubilant George, Sol went to say hello to the butler.

The other party behaved very respectfully when he saw him and readily agreed not to assign George to any dangerous tasks.

After that, Thor hurriedly packed up and rushed to the East Tower.

The first class today is about the basic cognition of all things.

Thor arrived late and Kelly had already reserved a seat for him.

"You're finally here. If you hadn't come, I would have thought something had happened to you." Keli touched her chin again, "Although I think it's impossible."

"Also? Who's in trouble?"

Is there anyone more unlucky than me?

Kelly mentioned a name that Thor had never heard of.

"He's crazy." Seeing that Thor didn't look panicked like the others, Kelly asked, "Why aren't you surprised at all?"

"I've seen the horror here, but I didn't expect that someone would go crazy just one day later." Thor whispered.

If it weren't for Fan Da's appearance last night, the best outcome for him would probably be going crazy.
