Chapter 365 White House
This Monroe's mental state is not right.
Thor blinked and didn't point it out.
Mark on the side also had no extra reaction.
It was only after hearing what the two of them said that Thor remembered that they had been in this hellhole for more than half a year, or even longer. How did they meet their physiological needs such as food?
Thor himself had no problem, as he had learned from Kongsha's request for help that they were trapped here, and he had put a lot of food in his compressed bag before coming.
But the stock is definitely not enough for him to eat for another half a year.
"Where is Kongsha?" Saul asked.
Mark shook his head with some worry on his face. "Kong Sha is the initiator of this adventure and the craziest one. She even entered the dead season and ran back with serious injuries."
"Will the exit of the valley be inside the Dead Season?" asked Thor.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible!" Monroe reacted strongly. He said with a look of resistance, "If the exit is inside the Dead Season, then I would rather never go out!"
Mark also sighed, "The deeper you go into the Dead Season, the scarier it gets. You'll see when you go see it later. The Dead Season is not far from here."
A gust of wind blew, and the ankle-high grass on the ground was pressed down. When they stood up again, they had turned from green to yellow.
"Autumn is here!" Monroe shouted happily, "Let's go find something to eat!"
"I'm going to look for food too." Mark couldn't help himself. "Thor, you can look around by yourself. There may be cryptocrystalline hidden in these houses. Remember, where the ground turns black under your feet is the dead season. Just don't go there."
Mark gave some instructions and tried to escape, but was caught by Thor.
"It's possible to encounter elves in autumn, right? What do elves look like? Is there any other way to deal with elves besides running?"
Mark struggled to break free but failed. He turned back helplessly and said quickly: "You can't see what they look like. If something strange attacks you, it must be an elf. If you don't want to use witchcraft, just run away. Once you are out of their sight, just find a house to hide in. This is why we stay in this habitat."
Mark's eyes turned red, like a lone wolf who had been hungry for several days.
Thor let go of his hand, and the other person disappeared behind a white wooden house in a flash.
When there was no one else around, Ancai whispered, "You were so calm just now, but suddenly you're like a starving ghost."
Morton did have a guess, "Maybe autumn is only for a short time, so they must take advantage of the opportunity to prepare enough food."
Agu suggested: "Master, although you have prepared food, we can also go and collect some food just in case."
Thor nodded and assigned tasks to the four people.
Hermann followed Mark's trail to find food, while Agu and An, whose spiritual bodies were more acute, went to look for cryptocrystalline separately, and Morton followed Thor.
"Don't go too far. If you find cryptocrystalline, call me over immediately. Your body's perception is slow and you can't carry cryptocrystalline."
An and Agu nodded.
Agu said, "I see. Once we find cryptocrystalline matter, we will keep an eye on it and not let it disappear."
Several people acted separately.
Thor took Morton and decided to start looking from the house on the edge.
Although this place may have been searched, Thor was confident that he had strong mental power and might find something that others had missed.
This white wooden house is the habitat of the elves, and it is also where Mark and his team discovered cryptocrystalline.
Approaching the white wooden house, Thor did not rush in. He walked around outside first and found that the exterior structure of the house he had chosen was a bit strange.
It has one door and four windows.
Two of the windows are on the same wall as the door, the other two are on the walls on the left and right, and there is no window on the back wall.
The door was not big, and Thor had to lower his head to pass through.
The window is smaller, but the head is big, like a vent.
There was no door handle, no door lock, and the elves didn't seem to need to lock the door.
Thor lowered his head to enter, and Morton had to bend down to walk in.
The height of the house is less than two meters, and it is a bit depressing to stay inside.
At first glance, there were no other furniture decorations except a few straw mats.
"Do elves live so simply?"
One of Thor's hands turned into an octopus tentacle - this had almost become his instinct and would not cause any shock to his mental body.
He observed with his eyes and swept every inch of land with his tentacles, while analyzing the living habits of the elves in his mind.
Although he was originally somewhat resistant to knowledge related to elves, but... he was here anyway.
Unfortunately, he and Morton searched the first room but found nothing.
So they went to the second adjacent house.
The second house has one door and six windows.
All four windows are on the same wall as the door, and the other two are on the left and right walls.
Before entering, Thor stopped and looked around. "Morton, do you think this house looks a bit like a human head?"
"Very similar." Morton agreed, "and very ugly."
Thor laughed.
Indeed, if someone looks like this, he must be ugly.
This house was slightly larger, but Thor still found nothing inside.
"Should we call Penny back?" Thor hesitated for a moment, but then rejected his idea. "Penny didn't come back on her own initiative, so she must have something to do. Finding cryptocrystalline is not the most important thing right now."
Now, apart from using cryptocrystalline as a resource to replenish Penny's energy, Thor has no particular need for it.
The two walked out of the house, wondering whether to continue looking for cryptocrystalline matter or to check on Mark and Monroe first.
"I'm afraid the other two people didn't find the cryptocrystalline either."
If An and Agu find any clues, they will definitely inform Thor.
However, when Thor lowered his head and came out of the white wooden house with six windows, he saw two women coming around from behind the house in front of him.
Thor was in a trance for a moment before hesitantly speaking, "Kongsha?"
The woman walking in front also saw Thor and a smile appeared on her red lips.
"Ah, you really came."
Even though she was wearing a loose wizard robe, Kong Sha's slim figure could still be vaguely outlined when she walked.
Judging from the fluctuations of magic power on her body, she was still a second-level apprentice, but her complexion was much better than when she was in the wizard tower.
It was as if being trapped in the Elf Valley was a torture for others, but a pleasure for her.
In comparison, the female apprentice who followed closely behind her was much inferior, and she seemed to want to shrink completely into her wizard robe.
"When you invited me, you didn't say that you wanted me to come to the rescue." Thor turned his gaze back to Kong Sha's face.
Kong Sha blinked her eyes and smiled provocatively, "But you still came. I was afraid that if I really asked you to save my life, you would not come."
Kong Sha pointed at the female apprentice behind her and said, "Let me introduce you, Casiro. She has just been promoted to level three after coming in."
Thor had actually noticed Casiro a long time ago.
She followed Kong Sha timidly, not daring to look at Sol. She only raised her head quickly when Kong Sha introduced herself, but Sol only looked at her face behind her bangs and then lowered his head immediately.
Through the broken hair, Thor could still see her pale, trembling lips.
Such a person was actually a third-level apprentice whose strength surpassed Kong Sha? How come he looked like her follower... or a captive?
