Chapter 47 A Level 3 Leg
Thor looked up at Byron, whose expression was as serious as ever.
"Is it the coordinate diagram of the composite rune?"
Byron's eyes curved up. "Yes, although it is just a diagram of a composite rune, it also gave me a lot of inspiration. That's why I was able to find my own locator at the last moment before I turned thirty."
"Location device?"
"You will know this naturally when you reach level two. Knowing it now will only increase your burden and disturb your thoughts."
Thor nodded.
The knowledge of the wizarding world also requires a certain level of strength to explore.
Learning advanced knowledge too early will only drive you crazy.
"Although you cannot understand this knowledge now, when you enter the second level, you can come to me and join my team. I will teach you some of my experiences as a second-level apprentice."
"Team?" This was another term Thor had never heard of before.
"Level 3 apprentices will go out to look for opportunities in order to fuse the locator, so you will hardly see them inside the wizard tower."
"At the same time, because the places they go to are very dangerous, they often travel in groups. Many second-level apprentices will follow the team to find a locator that suits them, but some of them will die outside."
Byron sighed, and a whistling sound came from his whole body.
"There's nothing we can do. The resources in the wizard tower are limited."
Thor thought about his empty lab table and cabinets, holding a large bag of magic crystals in his arms, and sighed, "Yeah, it's too limited."
Byron walked to Peggy's long table and flipped through the books on it. He then checked the three sarcophagi in the room and finally returned to Peggy's decaying body.
"There are evil spirits hidden in these three corpses. Peggy should have handed them over to Instructor Kaz for disposal. But... she was greedy and wanted to keep the body of this second-level apprentice for herself."
Saul nodded, and the hardcover book also told him that after Saul died, Peggy would write down the bodies of three first-level apprentices in the register.
The whereabouts of the second-level apprentice's body is self-evident.
The wound that replaced the lip continued to open and close.
"But she underestimated the evil spirit and overestimated herself. She was deeply trapped in it and could only find you as a scapegoat."
Thor continued to nod, Senior Byron had hit the nail on the head on everything he said.
"You're good." Byron concluded, his eyes slightly curved, looking at Thor with satisfaction.
"It was just an accident." Thor was able to kill Peggy because the hardcover book helped him eliminate all wrong options, plus he had a few props given by Kong Sha.
Otherwise, with his strength, two hits against the undead would be the limit.
So you still have to hug those big white legs, just be careful not to get dragged into the ditch.
"I'll take care of Peggy's belongings. Do you have any objections?"
Thor immediately shook his head, "No problem, it's safest for you to handle it, Senior."
Byron didn't waste any time, he walked over and easily lifted up two of the coffins.
One of them contained a second-level apprentice, and the other contained a first-level apprentice.
"Let's go."
Thor was stunned, not knowing what Byron was going to do, but he followed him immediately.
Byron passed by Hayden's room, stopped and kicked the door.
The door opened a crack at first, and when Hayden saw that it was Byron outside, he immediately opened the door completely.
"Senior Byron."
"Um!"
Byron's wounds had healed, and he threw the sarcophagus of one of the first-level apprentices into it.
"Bang!"
The sarcophagus fell to the ground, picking up a cloud of dust.
"Um?"
Hayden had also worked with Byron for several years, and he immediately understood what Byron meant.
"I understand. I skipped work tonight and I don't know what's going on here."
"Yeah." Byron nodded.
Hayden immediately closed the door and pretended that no one was there.
Thor, who was standing by, was completely shocked by Byron's actions.
Byron held the remaining sarcophagus and took Thor to the third morgue.
He did it again and cut his throat.
"There are some issues with Peggy's body. I will keep it and report it to my mentor. This one is basically fine now and still has value. Peggy has already concealed its existence anyway, so I'll leave it to you."
It seems that Senior Byron is "dividing the loot", so Peggy's body belongs to Senior Byron.
Thor had no complaints.
But Byron did not take Peggy's body directly, but gave Saul a better choice.
"You killed Peggy, so I'm staying here, but I won't take your things for nothing. If you want to exchange anything, you can come to me anytime within a month."
Thor stood up in surprise, he could even open his mouth and say a lot of things now.
But he looked back at the sarcophagus on the ground and suddenly calmed down.
Byron is about to become a third-level apprentice, and he will not leave the wizard tower.
He is one of the few people in the entire wizard tower who has no ill will towards him and can even be a help to him.
It's so rare.
His current witch body transformation experiment has not yet determined the final plan, so it is better to save the opportunity until it is really needed.
"Before I officially become a third-level apprentice, I will take over the work of the morgue. You can come to me anytime."
"Senior, do you know Sid?" Seeing Byron about to turn around and leave, Thor called him again.
"Hmm?" The wound healed.
"I have some conflicts with Sid. Do you think Peggy wants to kill me because of Sid?"
Byron shook his head.
Somehow, Thor understood what Byron meant.
He is saying "I don't know" rather than "no".
Byron looked at Thor, with a look of confusion in his eyes.
He was probably wondering why a first-level apprentice, a newcomer who had only been there for a month, could have made so many enemies?
Byron left the room, leaving the space to Saul. He still had to go back to deal with Peggy's body and the troubles she left behind.
Saul was also satisfied with Byron's reaction.
At the very least, Senior Byron and Sid probably aren’t familiar with each other.
In this way, Senior Byron can become another pillar for him to fight against West Germany.
A level three thigh! Thor walked to the sarcophagus with a satisfied smile on his face.
This sarcophagus looks very special, it is not made of ordinary material.
That's right, how can an ordinary coffin hold an evil spirit? Thor rubbed his hands excitedly, "No one can get rich without unexpected wealth, and the robbers never deceived me."
Thor locked the door from the inside.
This would be the first time he handled a body that had not been screened by Hayden.
It is also complete and is his first set of materials.
…
What happened with Peggy really didn't seem to concern Syd.
After Kongsha killed Sid and brought back the newcomer who was originally intended to replace Thor, Sid did not appear for a long time.
Life returned to peace, and learning and experimentation seemed to become the main theme again.
But Saul knew that Sid would not give up.
On his shoulder floated the hardcover book that Sid was determined to get, and his several near-death experiences made Sol more and more aware of the power of the hardcover book.
If anyone tried to take the hardcover book away now, Thor would definitely fight to the death.
He had no idea what Sid knew about hardcover books.
But he speculated that it was certainly limited.
The hardcover book can predict death, and Sid's several tentative attacks on Thor can indeed threaten Thor's life.
But each time the killing intention was not decisive enough!
This also gave Thor time to find a way to save himself.
Thor asked himself, if he were to steal the hardcover book, he would definitely choose a killing method that would leave the victim unable to react and with nowhere to escape.
Instead of wasting opportunities like Sid did, and having his intentions discovered by Thor.
So, although Sid was following the trace of a book, he was not very clear about the role of the hardcover book.
So, how did he know about the existence of the hardcover book ?
The sound of flames interrupted Thor's thoughts. He stood up and first glanced at the crucible and other reacting containers on the table.
There should be a long time before the reaction ends.
He stood up to greet the first guest of the day.
