Chapter 6: First Level Wizard Apprentice

Chapter 6: First Level Wizard Apprentice

"Save me, save me, save me...Kill me!!!"

"call!"

Thor opened his eyes and sat up suddenly.

"Master, are you awake?" A boy quickly got up from the ground and came to Thor.

"George?" Thor recognized that the other person was the boy sleeping on his right.

In that big bunk bed, George was the only one who was friendly to Saul.

Thor had just traveled through time and only had fragmentary memories of the original owner. Many things about the wizard tower were told to him secretly by George.

Just because he was afraid of being bullied by other boys, George never dared to talk to Sol in front of others.

Now, George, with an ingratiating smile, held up a bowl of soup.

"My Lord, are you hungry? I will serve you a meal."

Thor pushed the soup away.

"No, I'm not hungry. What time is it now? How long have I been unconscious?"

"Sir, you have been unconscious for about an hour. It is now eight o'clock in the morning... a little after eight o'clock." George looked back at the hourglass clock on the wall and barely understood the time.

Thor followed George's gaze and noticed that he was in a single bedroom.

A 1.5-meter-wide wooden bed, two long desks, two high-backed chairs, and an empty bookcase that takes up an entire wall are all the large furnishings in the room.

There is also a blue hourglass clock hanging on the wall.

There are marks on the hourglass, and at this moment the sand is just below the eight o'clock mark.

"This is... the wizard apprentice's room? Did I pass the test?" Thor felt a warm current rising from the bottom of his heart, slowly spreading throughout his body.

Excited, thrilled, and having survived a disaster, he smiled foolishly.

“Hehehe…” Seeing Thor laughing, George quickly followed suit, “Congratulations, sir!”

Thor realized his own gaffe, and quickly restrained his expression and coughed twice.

"George, why are you here?"

George quickly knelt on the ground, looked up and said, "Sir, the housekeeper asked me to take care of you."

It turned out that after Thor fell into a coma, he was sent to an empty room on the sixth floor by the butler, and George volunteered to take care of him until he woke up.

After hearing what George said, Saul fell into deep thought.

"Since I was sent to the wizard apprentice's room, my identity should have been recognized. But if nothing unexpected happens, my magical talent is still very low. If I can't find a way to improve it, I'm afraid I will only be a first-level wizard apprentice for the rest of my life."

Although he avoided the magic test by fainting, Thor also had no idea what his magical talent was.

I have to find some time to test it secretly.

Thor was torn between the excitement of becoming a wizard's apprentice and the worry about the difficult road ahead.

After a while, he exhaled and noticed that George was still kneeling on the ground, staring at him eagerly.

"Uh, George, get up."

"Sir!" George dared to speak only after seeing Thor come back to his senses. "Sir, please let me be your exclusive servant!"

"Exclusive servant?" Thor had no memory of this.

George glanced carefully at Thor's left hand, then quickly looked away.

"Yes, sir. I have seen other wizard apprentices designate servants to take care of their daily lives. If you accept me, I will definitely serve you well."

Seeing that Thor was a little hesitant, George knelt to the bedside and lowered his voice, "Sir, I can be your eyeliner and help you keep an eye on Brown."

Brown? The boy who had been bullying him?

"Sir, I found that Brown was taken out twice after you woke up from your injury. After that, he became even more arrogant than before, and he even deliberately got everyone to unite against you, and gave you the job of cleaning the corridor in the early morning, which was originally a rotating job."

Thor's pupils suddenly contracted.

So, that group of boys were not simply bullying me, but were instigated by someone?

His left hand hidden in his sleeve slowly clenched.

Someone wants me dead!

Seeing this, George knew that his information would be very useful to Saul, so he quickly continued, "Sir, I can help you find out who is behind Brown."

Without much hesitation, Thor shook his head and rejected George.

"No, don't make any moves." Thor paused for a moment and said, "Just pay attention to Brown's actions every day, but don't take the initiative to investigate. As for the matter of the exclusive servant, I will ask the butler when I am stable here."

George was a little disappointed, but he cheered up quickly. He knelt up straight and said, "I understand, sir! If you need me, you can summon me at any time. George is willing to sacrifice his life for you!"

He was only twelve years old, but his face was full of loyalty and enthusiasm.

Thor didn't take such empty words seriously. He waved his hand to let George stand up and asked him, "Do you know what to do after becoming an apprentice?"

This time George shook his head blankly.

Well, George was called in later, and we can't expect him to know everything.

Saul didn't want George to be too conspicuous, so he asked him to go back first, while he walked around the house to see if he could find some useful information.

After all, he fainted during the wizard apprentice test and might have missed a lot of information.

The latest novel is published first on Liu9shuba!

The room where Sol was staying was just a small single room, which was nothing like Kongsha's. Except for the basic necessities, the rest of the place was empty.

Thor found the blank scroll and the pens under the long table.

This means allowing learning.

He held the two things in his arms, pursed his lips and started smiling again.

The precarious life of a servant is finally over.

He no longer had to worry every day about how he would die.

A bright future seems to be within reach.

He knew that he didn't have much talent and he was lucky to be alive and become a first-level apprentice.

"It doesn't matter if I can't advance. I'm willing to stay at the same level until I die."

“Boom boom!”

Someone knocks on the door.

Thor adjusted his expression and hurried over to open the door.

He had seen the person outside the door before. He was one of the two people taking the test before him.

She was a freckled girl with pigtails, wearing a simple blue dress and carrying a stiff cloth shoulder bag on her back.

"I saw your servant leave, and I thought you were awake, so I came to say hello." The freckled girl spoke without any expression, her head moving with the sound of her voice. "My name is Keli, and I live in room 603 next to yours."

Taking the initiative to say hello should be a warm gesture, but Keli's expression was a little too cold.

"Hello, my name is Thor."

Keli looked at the book and pen in Thor's arms and nodded slightly in approval. "I came to find you because you have a good talent for mental strength, and I have a good talent for magic. Excellent people should go hand in hand with excellent people."

Thor twitched his lips.

"The second reason is that you are the only one among those who passed the test and survived."

After hearing what Kelly said, Thor's heart sank.

Sure enough, all the servants who failed the test died.

Therefore, if you don’t have enough talent, opportunities will turn into disasters.

"I see that your clothes are the same as those of the servants in the tower, so I guess you are all servants taking the test. Since you can go from a servant to an apprentice, you must have a strong will."

Although Kelly was praising someone, Thor didn't know why he didn't feel happy.

"The above is why I came to make friends with you."

Thor wanted to ask, "Why should I be friends with you?"

But he held back.
