Chapter 71 The Person Trapped in the Back

Chapter 71 The Person Trapped in the Back

"Are these three actually the same person?"

Having seen many strange wizard apprentices, Thor guessed the reason why the three people in front of him were strange.

But he soon discovered that he had guessed wrong.

The folding door was pushed open a little, and a boy with blond hair and blue eyes walked out and nodded to the girl sitting first in line.

Then turned and left.

The man who came out was also wearing the same clothes with the same second-level apprentice name tag pinned on his clothes.

The female apprentice who was first in line stepped in through the crack in the door, and Kaz took the opportunity to bring Thor into the room.

After entering the room, Thor immediately used his peripheral vision to look for the figure of Mentor Rum.

This room is really big.

Due to the limited area of the wizard tower itself, its width is limited, but its length should be quite long.

The reason why it should be so is that there are only heavy curtains that appear to be made of leather hanging on both sides of the room.

Each curtain is one meter wide, made of thick material and does not shake.

This room has no walls, only curtains like this one.

The female apprentice who came in before Thor and the others had already walked to the right and opened a curtain with her hand.

Thor leaned forward slightly and saw the "room" next door.

Then he saw a beam of light hitting the ground obliquely.

Thor blinked, feeling that the light was different from ordinary candlelight.

He suddenly felt a little nervous again, but not because of the upcoming appearance of Mentor Rum.

"Rum?" Kaz did not rush into the space on the left and right, but just raised his voice and asked.

"Hmph!" A response came from the right, but judging from the tone, it didn't seem very good.

"Hey."

Kaz raised his hand, motioning for Thor to follow.

The two of them worked together to lift the curtain from where the apprentice had just passed, leading to the next "room".

The moment Thor passed through, he felt that the temperature in the room was higher than other places.

He subconsciously looked in the direction of the warmth, and saw it—the sun! His eyes suddenly filled with tears.

On the outer wall, a small window of one meter square was embedded in the wall. The dark window opened outwards, and due to the thickness of the outer wall, only a small part of it was visible outside the wall.

It was that beam of light that penetrated the thick outer wall, as if it had passed through the interstellar space, shining obliquely on the ground, bringing a different kind of warmth to the entire cold room.

Thor hadn't seen the sun for more than three months! "There will be opportunities in the future." He sighed inwardly, letting the tears that were about to overflow shrink back into his eyes, and took two quick steps to catch up with the instructor Kaz in front of him.

After a few steps, there was only a faint mist in his eyes. Even when he passed by the beam of light and felt the warmth of the light, he did not lose his composure.

Mentor Rum was sitting inside this room, and Thor saw a mountain of meat when he passed through the beam of light.

He had seen hundreds of pounds of fat people on TV and on his phone, many of whom were so fat that they couldn't even move when lying in bed.

Even those people cannot be described as a mountain of flesh.

And this one in front of me definitely can.

He should be a man, with fat covering all external gender characteristics, and messy half-long blond hair hanging down to his chin, supported by the fat on his chin. He has no beard, and his nose is sunken in the fat on his cheeks. Only the area around his eyes is relatively flat.

The most prominent feature of him is his belly.

The entire belly was stacked up in layers, and it was impossible to tell where the chest was and where the lower abdomen was. A pair of legs were completely invisible under the fat that looked like a puffy skirt.

But his arms were surprisingly thin, about two meters long from the shoulders, and divided into three sections, which did not seem to be human limbs.

Could this person be Rum? Roshan ignored Kaz and Thor who came in, and used his extremely long hands to grope the female apprentice who came in earlier.

The female apprentice had no expression on her face and allowed him to examine her entire body.

There was no obscene atmosphere here. Rum's expression was slightly scrutinizing and critical, as if he was inspecting a cabbage at the vegetable market to see if there were any rotten leaves.

"Go get down on the stage."

The female apprentice was finally let go. She walked to a thin, cold iron table next to Rum and began to take off her clothes.

She was not wearing a top under her robe, but she was neatly dressed in trousers.

No one in the room turned their eyes.

Even Thor watched in silence.

He had seen many naked bodies of women in the morgue, but this was the first time he had seen a living one.

The female apprentice's movements did not slow down at all because of the presence of outsiders. After exposing her upper body, she quietly lay on the long iron bed, pulled aside her blonde hair, revealing her white back.

Rum stretched out his slender hands and gently pressed on the female apprentice's back.

A golden rune array suddenly appeared in the middle of the latter's fair skin.

The fine runes were interspersed with some lines and Noahic characters. It was the first time Thor had seen this kind of magic circle and he couldn't help but take a few more glances.

Suddenly, in Thor's eyes, the golden runes suddenly changed positions and formed a male face. The eyeballs made up of runes turned and stared at Thor.

Thor immediately lowered his head and looked away.

At the same time, he also missed the unexpected glance from Rum.

Soon, Rum finished the inspection and waved his hand for the female apprentice to put on her clothes and leave.

"Okay, next one."

The female apprentice still had a blank expression on her face, showing no emotion.

After she went out, Rum sighed softly.

Then he immediately put away his emotions and looked at Thor behind Kaz, but was talking to Kaz.

"This is the man you recommended? He killed my lab assistant. Why do you think I would agree to this?"

"Because he's suitable." Kaz shrugged.

"Suitable? A new apprentice, what do you think he can do?"

"You can learn if you don't know." Kaz said indifferently.

Rum raised his lips and gave a short laugh. "How long will it take? How much time do you think I can afford to waste on him?"

Kaz said nonchalantly: "So what if we waste time? Haven't we wasted enough time?"

Seeing that Kaz was not in a very good mood, Rum slowed down his tone.

"Have you seen Kira?"

"It's time to call Kira-sama. She has advanced to the second stage."

"A second-level wizard?" Rum was a little surprised, but soon turned into a trance, "Has she advanced? But I'm afraid I won't be able to advance in this lifetime."

Kaz said nothing, seeming to agree with Rum's sigh.

The room was quiet for a moment.

After a moment, the sound of a second male apprentice entering the room interrupted their thoughts.

Rum came to his senses and said to Kaz, "Go back. I want to test him. If he fails, I will send him back alive."

Kaz hesitated a little. He looked back at Thor, as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he said nothing. He just patted Thor on the shoulder and left the room.

Thor didn't expect this either.

Would Mr. Kaz not help him explain the matter of Sid? Or did he think that as long as Rum didn't kill him, it would be fine to expose this matter even if he suffered a little? Rum cast a cold gaze at him, making Salton feel that he had also been stripped of his shirt.

The second apprentice had already walked up to Rum.

Rum was not in a good mood, so he pinched him twice and let him lie on the iron bed.

"Watch carefully, I'll ask you later."

"Seriously? Are you talking to me?"

Although he was still a little confused about the situation, Thor saw that Rum had already started to move, and quickly put himself into a semi-immersive meditation state.

This is his serious work attitude!

This time in his perspective, the golden symbol behind the male apprentice appeared and quickly formed into a woman's head.

Thor endured the discomfort and continued to stare at the changes in the runes, carefully examining and analyzing the function of each rune.

However, most of the runes in this magic circle were composite runes, some of which he had never seen before. So after looking at it for a long time, he only had a partial understanding.

But at this moment, he suddenly saw a white translucent human head rushing out of the magic circle.

But there seemed to be a kind of suction force on it that was stopping him.

The facial features that were pulled back to the limit were very similar to the female head made of golden runes! Thank you for the reward! It was actually strongly recommended on the new book, a pleasant surprise! It’s time to add more chapters to celebrate, but I was sick last week and didn’t save the manuscript. I will work hard and finish the extra chapters this week!

Thank you all for your continued support, please continue to read~ (Also whisper: It’s not water, crises need villains, and new villains need time to appear)
