Chapter 753 Lucky Legend

Chapter 753: Lucky Legend

Thor waited in line for another half an hour before it was finally his turn to board the airship.

It was really his first time lining up to board the airship.

In the past, when he had the quota for Mentor Gorza, the airship would make a special detour to pick him up.

From the wizard tower to the airship VIP room, all in one step.

This time, Thor was not in a hurry. He brought a box of books and notes, intending to study hard on the airship to make up for his missing basic knowledge.

The luggage inspection before boarding the airship was very detailed. Even the suitcases had to be opened and checked one by one.

While Thor was opening the box, he stuffed two sets of clothes into it.

Otherwise, it would be strange to think that an ordinary person who doesn't look wealthy would live on an airship for a month with only a box of books, paper and pen.

After passing the inspection, the woman who was in charge of examining him showed a sincere smile.

"You are a scholar, right? I will try to arrange a quiet room for you. Would you like to live at the end of the corridor? It will be quieter there."

"Thank you so much." Thor nodded repeatedly.

Finally reaching the deck, Thor found a place to stand not far from the entrance.

There are usually no wizards on this airship, so the ticket price is the cheapest among the nearby airships.

Having a wizard on the airship is actually a form of safety.

As long as they don't encounter a battle with wizards, even if something really goes wrong with the airship, there will be someone who can remedy it immediately.

The official forces of the three continents have emphasized that wizards cannot destroy the running airships. This can be regarded as a guarantee of the safety of passengers from an institutional perspective.

Thor saw Mike, who had just talked to him, also boarded the airship.

"This is my room number. I'll be here after dinner. If you also hope to be blessed by good fortune, remember to come over. I can treat you to some wine."

Thor nodded with a smile.

He was not waiting for Mike here on purpose, but he felt the fluctuation of magic on the deck.

The fluctuation is very small, and it feels like it belongs to a wizard's apprentice.

But Thor did not sense any wizard apprentice among the passengers.

A servant on the airship saw the plainly dressed Thor standing near the deck railing and walked up to him cautiously to greet him.

"Oh, I'm fine, I just want to see the scenery." Thor waved his hand, indicating that he would not jump from here.

The attendant still followed Thor, "Then I'll take you back to your room. After all, when the airship takes off, passengers can't stay on the deck."

Thor nodded, kicked the orange cat at his feet, picked up the huge suitcase and walked towards the cabin.

After taking two steps, he turned around and said to the attendant who was still following him, "Excuse me, is there a wizard on this airship?"

"There is no wizard. However, there is a wizard apprentice on board the airship, but he will not easily meet outsiders."

Thor nodded.

It seemed that the faint magical fluctuation he just felt came from the wizard apprentice on the ship.

After dinner, Saul was still reading in his room.

On the other hand, the orange cat Kate was wearing a napkin like a human, holding a knife and fork, and eating the steak and vegetable soup that Thor had not touched.

"Lord Thor, are you going to listen to what Mike said about the cat's gratitude?" Kate asked casually.

Thor's eyes were still on the page in his hand. "Why, you also want to learn how to repay a favor?"

Kate is now Thor's prisoner.

At first he always wanted to run away, but after finding out that Thor was the new owner of the Borderland, he followed Thor obediently.

As a wizard who turned into a cat, he really needed a backer like Thor who was powerful and could cure mental pollution.

Thor was also curious about Kate's condition, so he kept him by his side to study him.

The books I read at this time were also related to research on soul transfer.

He wanted to see if he could transfer Kate's soul into a human body without the help of the diary.

Kate always felt a chill down her spine when she looked at the book in Saul's hand.

He moved his butt, and his tail swung unconsciously. "I am a little curious. After all, the adults also mentioned this word. I think it must be very complicated."

Thor rested the book on his chin, wondering whether he should tell Kate that the cat's return of favor was just a joke he told.

After a moment, Thor put the book on the table without explaining anything.

"Okay, then I'll go take a look. Maybe I can find something interesting from an ordinary person."

When Kate heard this, a smile appeared on her face, and a long scarlet tongue suddenly stretched out from the kitten's mouth. It was about one meter long and swept across the dining table, clearing away all the food on it.

Then the orange cat jumped down and walked to Thor on two legs, "I'm done eating, Master Thor, let me go with you."

Thor looked down at Kate, who was still wearing a napkin. "I can let you follow me, but I'm bringing a cat with me, not..."

Kate understood immediately, lowered her head, stepped forward with her front paws, and pulled the napkin off her neck.

Then he got on all fours, looked up and meowed.

Thor smiled with satisfaction, pushed the door open and walked out.

The orange cat followed him lightly.

The two went up a flight of stairs and found Mike's room in the middle of the floor.

“Knock, knock, knock.”

Thor knocked gently on the door.

After a while, steady footsteps were heard and Matt opened the door from the inside.

As soon as he saw Thor, a smile appeared on his face. "Are you in such a hurry to come here? I haven't finished dinner yet."

There was a napkin hanging around his neck, just like the orange cat, as if Thor's arrival had just disturbed his meal.

Thor said nothing, looking past Mike at the dinner on his table which was no longer warm.

"Ahem... since you're here, come in. I don't actually eat much at night." Mike coughed twice and quickly made way.

Only then did Thor walk in.

The orange cat also squeezed in through the crack of the door at the moment it closed.

Mike put down his knife and fork, pulled off the loose napkin around his neck, and looked out to see if there was anyone in the corridor before closing the door.

A mysterious look.

"Thor, to be honest, I'm giving you a chance to be lucky because I see that it's not easy for you to come out on your own at such a young age. Otherwise, this little bit of luck wouldn't be enough for me alone."

"What on earth is this? Why can luck be shared with others? And what is this cat's return of gratitude that you mentioned?"

Mike smiled mysteriously, shaking his head, "I know that you came here this time because 90% of your heart didn't trust me, and 10% was just trying your luck."

He walked to the bed and took out a palm-sized package wrapped tightly in cloth from under the layers of bedding.

"But it doesn't matter if you don't believe it. I can make you believe it now. This is a magical world. It's not surprising to see any magical props in this world."

Mike said as he unwrapped his tightly wrapped package.

After layers of unsealing, a white ceramic kitten appeared in front of Thor and Kate.

This ceramic kitten is crudely made and all white, with only a pair of eyes that are dyed red with crude paint.

Consistent with its ordinary appearance, Thor did not detect any magical or mental fluctuations on it.

But Mike was still proudly introducing his baby.

"This is the cat's way of repaying you. If you have it, you will become extremely lucky and all your wishes will come true."

"Uh... meow?"

Kate almost spit out a complaint.
