Loxin Amusement Park

Loxin Amusement Park

By the time I got back after going around a big circle, almost half an hour had passed.

Cai's father finally brought Cai Li over, patted his shoulder, and whispered in his ear, "We'll all be classmates from now on. Be polite. It will help your reputation in college."

Like father, like son. Mr. Cai’s motives were certainly not pure.

A person's first impression is very important, and if there is praise from others, it will be more real.

Evaluations from others, especially positive comments from fellow townspeople, make it easier for Cai Li to gain a foothold in front of other students in the college.

It's okay for these people, but if they meet students from truly wealthy families, they will have an easier time entering society than others.

Power is originally in the hands of a small number of people in society.

"I understand." Cai Li put on a fake smile and appeared at the table. The young people stood up on their own initiative.

Father Cai chuckled twice: "Everyone, don't be so reserved. Come sit down and eat. You live far away, so it must have taken you a long time to get here."

He just came to show up and immediately went somewhere else to drink and mingle.

After three rounds of drinks, the highlight of the day finally arrived. The graduation banquet was coming to an end, and the Cai family had invited people from the photo studio early.

Finally, all these young students were gathered on the table in front of the table, saying that they wanted to take photos as a souvenir.

He had prepared red envelopes early and distributed them to the students when he went on stage, asking them to take photos holding the red envelopes later.

The stage was quite large, and it took some time to find my seat.

Cai Li's brother followed and helped to arrange the seating, saying that it depended on height, weight and body shape. After a few rounds, he finally arranged the girl next to Cai Li.

After that, he did not forget to raise his eyebrows, as if seeking credit, and walked to the side stage after completing his mission.

Cai Li lowered his eyes, with no obvious fluctuations in his expression. Cheng Nuoxin was probably not used to being around such strangers, and the side of his face was slightly tense.

There was a hint of embarrassment in her eyes. She felt that she did not come here voluntarily, or rather, she did not expect that these things would happen after she came here.

Although some parts of the clothes were washed white, it was obvious that they had been carefully sorted. It might be the only set of clothes she could show off.

"Students here, please move a little to the left. The right side of the stage is too crowded." The cameraman adjusted the focus of the camera, gave a reminder, and waved his hand to adjust the direction.

"Come closer." Seeing that she was so crowded that there was almost no place for her to stand, Cai Li stepped back half a body.

Because of her height, the girl looked up at her with her thick eyelashes fluttering.

Cai Li had seen those female classmates who dressed up gorgeously after the holidays and put on cheap cosmetics. Sometimes when they got close to him, he would hold his breath because of the pungent smell.

But the girl next to me is different. She exudes a faint fragrance, which should be the smell of laundry detergent, but why does it smell so good?

"What's your name?" Although he was looking at the direction of the camera, he couldn't help but glance at the person next to him.

"Cheng Nuoxin, I'm from Ling County." Cheng Nuoxin thought that the photo was going to be recorded, so he raised his hand to straighten his collar.

"We will be college classmates from now on, and we can help each other if we have any problems."

"Come on, look at me, three, two, one!" said the photographer.

Cheng Nuoxin didn't say anything, just nodded in response. After taking the group photo, she left with her familiar friends without having time to chat with him again.

The next time they met was at the freshman entrance ceremony. Cai Li, as an outstanding student representative, was waiting backstage with his speech manuscript when he saw her moving props with the seniors.

"Sorry, I almost bumped into you." Cheng Nuoxin was holding the props that would be used for the performance later.

Cai Li tightened his grip on the manuscript, straightened his body, and was about to chat about family matters when he saw her walking away quickly.

Even the smile was only halfway there, didn't he recognize me...

He felt a little regretful. He thought that the person who looked at him just now was an acquaintance. He didn't expect that he had been forgotten after such a long time.

"Hey, senior, which department is she from?" Cai Li stopped another student who was walking towards him. They happened to have met once at a party before and knew each other quite well.

"A freshman in the Art Department, pretty. She was brought into the student club as soon as she arrived on campus to be a living signboard. There are more people signing up than in previous years. By the way, aren't you two from the same city?"

"I didn't know him before." Cai Li said casually.

After he finished his speech, he hurried off the stage amid applause from the audience and went to the back to look for Cheng Nuoxin. He saw her squatting in a corner with her classmates, eating fruit.

Cai Li came up and introduced himself: "Don't you remember me? My dad invited you before."

Cheng Nuoxin of course remembered it, but she was too anxious just now and didn't see it clearly. She nodded and said, "I know."

"Do you want to have lunch together? And call some fellow villagers?" Cai Li regained his confidence.

Cheng Nuoxin shook her head. After the whole summer vacation, her hair had grown longer than before and was tied into a very neat and dry ponytail.

"I have an appointment with my roommate to have dinner together, let's wait for next time."

She took an apple from the stool and asked, "Do you want some?"

"Thank you," Cai Li took it. "Okay, then please tell me your dormitory building and room number. If anything happens, I can ask you for help."

Cheng Nuoxin was actually a little unhappy, but thinking that they were from the same hometown, she didn't think too much about it and told him anyway.

A few days later, I saw Cai Li downstairs with a big bag of snacks in his hand. They were some of the best-selling snacks at the moment, and some of them were so popular that you had to queue up to buy them.

"Boyfriend." The roommate who was traveling with him whispered.

"No, we are just from the same hometown." Cheng Nuoxin retorted subconsciously.

Cai Li enthusiastically took out a small can of milk powder from the bag and said, "Hey, classmate, take this and eat it."

The roommate took over and said, "You're welcome, but I suddenly remembered something urgent. I have to go first. You guys can chat slowly."

She took two steps back, not forgetting to give Cheng Nuoxin a look that said "I understand", and walked away very consciously.

Cheng Nuoxin had no time to explain, so she could only look back at Cai Li and pinch the corner of his clothes: "What's the matter?"

"My parents came to visit me in the provincial capital yesterday and bought me a lot of food for the dormitory. There was too much for me to finish, so I thought of giving it to you. The main reason is that I don't know the others."

"I don't want it. You don't have to buy anything for me." Cheng Nuoxin was not used to this kind of show of goodwill, especially since the two of them were not even familiar with each other.

But Cai Li just stuffed the food into her hands and ran away, and told her to eat it quickly before it expired.

In this way, the two of them officially established contact in college.

"Anyway, Nuoxin really didn't like me at first, but even the hardest ice was eventually softened. When we were about to graduate, she finally agreed to be with me."

In the amusement park, Cai Li simply told the story of how the two met.

But this is just one-sided words heard from him, and its authenticity remains to be questioned.

Ding Can glanced in the direction of the carousel. "Director Cai, we employees often talk about you during our private breaks, and we're curious about a lot of things. I saw you stop over there just now. Do you have any memories here?"

Cai Li nodded: "Of course, part of the design there was done by Nuo Xin."

I studied in the Art Department at Lexington University, so this kind of design is certainly something I can do with ease.

After Cai Li completed the entire amusement park, he only kept this place in a relatively original state.

It is because he believes that carousels are a dreamlike existence in the hearts of many girls, and to some extent, they are more likely to inspire the softness in their hearts.

Ding Can pointed and said, "So, those two people hugging each other at the bottom of the sea are you and your wife?"

She had only asked casually, but she didn't expect Cai Li's eyes to darken, and the kind expression he had maintained collapsed in an instant, but the curve of his mouth remained the same as before.

"Yeah." He spoke without any extra emotion, and it didn't even sound like the words were spoken by a real person.

Ding Can realized that something was wrong. It seemed that whether their relationship was as loving as others said was indeed debatable.

She exchanged a glance with Xia Jialian, who immediately understood.

"Could you please tell me about the original intention of this design? Do you have any agreement related to the sea? It shouldn't be just a whim, right?"

"My wife is from Ling County, which is surrounded by mountains. She has never seen the sea since she was a child, so she has always longed for the sea."

Cai Li seemed to sneer: "She also has a wish, which is to go to the sea with the person she loves for the first time."

Xia Jialian asked a clever question: "So which sea did you go to?"

"No, we weren't together when Nuoxin went there. Although we went there again later, the feeling was always different."

Cai Li shook his head, with a hint of regret in his expression.

Ding Can heard some ambiguity in these words.

Since Cheng Nuo wanted to go to the sea with the person she loved, she would go with her boyfriend unless there were special circumstances.

Does that mean that when Cheng Nuoxin went to see the sea, she was actually accompanied by the person she liked?

And it has nothing to do with Cai Li at all.

Cai Li raised his wrist and checked the time on his watch: "It's almost time. I have to go to the center of the street to be interviewed by the TV station. You guys come with me."

Xia Jialian moved aside and said, "Director Cai, please go first. We just got here and wanted to take a look at the carousel. The park is quite large, so we won't go around in circles."

"Okay, but this place hasn't been properly maintained and is a bit old. It might not look as photogenic as other equipment in the camera."

Cai Li chuckled twice: "I told Xiao Chen today that I would take some time to tidy up this place."

Ding Can looked at his eyes. What she heard in the office just now was not the same. It was Cai Li who insisted on keeping the place as it was.

I don't want anyone to touch this place, nor do I want anyone to take pictures of it...

She was thinking when she heard Cai Li talking to her, his eyes still looking at her work ID which was mostly covered by her coat: "What's your name?"

Ding Can was stunned for a moment, then quickly took over the conversation: "Just call me Xiao Fang, Director Cai."

Fortunately, I noticed the name above just now and wrote it down.

"Well, come with me to the center of the street. The only way to get there is along the tourist route. There are a lot of tourists today, so if you take me, we can still walk through the areas that are not open to the public."
