A whole day of indulgence means spending your rest time on overtime.
When Han Lin arrived home, he saw Chaoge still busy painting in the study.
Thinking that he might have received some urgent order, I didn't go in to disturb him and went back to the bathroom to take a shower.
After taking a shower, Chaoge was still painting. Han Lin hesitated for two seconds between going to the bedroom and staying in the living room, and finally chose to stay in the living room.
The door of the study faces the living room, so if Chaoge finishes painting, he can be seen at a glance.
It had been a while since he last played games. Han Lin was still in the same place as in the afternoon, slumped on the lazy sofa, took out the game controller, and started playing Contra silently.
Han Lin is a Contra veteran who knows every level by heart and can complete the game almost without any brains.
It may sound a bit boring, but Han Lin likes it very much. For him, it is a stress-relieving activity that can clear his mind after a busy day of work.
After playing for half an hour, Han Lin put down the controller and closed his eyes for a nap.
When Chaoge finished the painting, she saw Han Lin and the two cats sleeping in the living room.
Exactly the same as myself in the afternoon.
Chaoge went over and woke the man up. Han Lin opened his eyes in a daze, and his hands naturally hugged the back of Chaoge's neck. He pulled Chaoge to his mouth and kissed her.
Chaoge knelt down and hugged Han Lin.
After resting for a while, Han Lin finally came to his senses.
"Have you finished painting? Are you busy today?" Han Lin asked.
Chaoge nodded and shook her head.
"I'm a little sleepy, want to sleep?" Han Lin said.
Chaoge nodded, stood up and pulled Han Lin up.
Han Lin lazily stood up and lay on Chaoge's back.
Chaoge was a head shorter than Han Lin, so Han Lin lay on top of him and made him disappear.
However, Chaoge was very happy with the feeling of being wrapped in such a thick package.
He smiled silently, pulled Han Lin's hands, and moved back to the room step by step.
As winter gradually approached, Chaoge's ability to resist the cold further weakened. He had long taken off the summer mat and replaced the small quilt with an autumn quilt. After washing, Chaoge got into bed. Han Lin had already warmed up the bed, and it was the most suitable temperature for people who are afraid of cold to sleep.
Chaoge sighed contentedly and hugged Han Lin.
Han Lin leaned over and kissed his forehead: "Good night, baby."
Chaoge closed her eyes obediently and ended the happy day with Han Lin.
The next morning, Chaoge got up with Han Lin, who had to work an early shift. While Han Lin was washing up, Chaoge went to the kitchen to make breakfast.
Chaoge had some Peking duck left over from yesterday, so he planned to make a roast duck panini. The small roast duck would be fried until the skin became crispy, and served with refreshing lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a little sesame seeds for a fragrant taste.
Chaoge covered the bread slices and pressed hard with the panini pan to shape their breakfast.
The osmanthus jam sent by Aunt Li smelled very sweet. Chaoge has been wanting to eat it since he returned home. Today, he simply cut two slices of lemon and added two spoons of osmanthus jam, and two cups of special osmanthus lemonade were ready.
Chaoge took a deep breath.
It smells so good.
The kids next door are crying with envy.
After washing up, Han Lin fed the cat in the living room and did some simple exercise. He waited for Chaoge to finish washing up before going to the dining room to have breakfast together.
"It's delicious. Is this the roast duck near our home?" Han Lin asked.
Chaoge nodded: [I ordered takeout yesterday.]
"It tastes good. The water is so fragrant. Does it smell like osmanthus?" Han Lin took a sip of water.
[Aunt Li made this sweet-scented osmanthus jam. Isn't it delicious? Speaking of jam, I'm also planning to make some jam today. Mom said she sent us some apples and oranges, and they'll arrive today.] Chaoge gestured.
"Sure, Han Xiaojun seems to like eating apples very much." Han Lin said.
"Yes, I squeezed him a glass of apple juice while I was doing it today. I'll bring it to him after school." Chaoge gestured.
"Why send it over? It's so troublesome. Let him get it himself." Han Lin said.
"What's the trouble? My brother's affairs shouldn't be a problem." Chaoge gestured, "Alright, alright, it's time to go to work. Put your things down and I'll pack them up. You can leave now."
