Chapter 26 Happy Everyday

After strolling around for a morning, Han Lin and Chaoge went directly to the snack bar in the zoo and ordered some snacks for lunch.

The food in the zoo tasted ordinary and was expensive. Chaoge made funny faces at Han Lin while eating, silently complaining and shaking his head.

"Next time you come to play, you should bring your lunch box," Han Lin said.

Chaoge nodded: "This zoo is useless except for the animals."

"That's not the case." Han Lin poured chili powder into the fried potatoes. "The scenery here is nice and relaxing."

"Although I love Panda, I love coming here because every time I come, you're always with me." Chaoge gestured, "It doesn't matter which zoo we go to; the important thing is you."

"Wow, the kid's mouth is as sweet as honey today." Han Lin said, "It's so sweet to me."

[Let’s go, let’s go see the birds.] Chaoge blushed, her heartbeat quickening as she spoke her heart out. She wished she could bury herself in Han Lin’s arms and never come out again.

The Bird Valley in the city park is a unique simulated valley. Once you enter it, you feel like you are in the mountains. From time to time, a few or even a group of birds will fly by.

The Bird Valley is very large, and there are many routes to take after entering. Chaoge and Han Lin chose a less crowded path and walked side by side.

“If I had known we were going to the park, I would have brought my camera.” Chaoge gestured.

"It happened so suddenly. I didn't expect that there would be only one painting exhibition today." Han Lin said, "But it's okay if I don't take pictures. I can just relax and have fun."

Chaoge nodded and pointed to the branches ahead.

There sat a small, fragile-feathered bird.

[That's it!] Chaoge excitedly grabbed Han Lin.

"Who?" Han Lin looked at the bird blankly.

"Have you forgotten? This was the first bird we saw when we first came to the Bird Valley." Chaoge gestured confidently.

Han Lin was surprised: "You can remember this?"

[Because there's a scar on its right leg that looks like a small heart, that's why I remember it.] Chaoge looked at the bird with joy. [At that time, I looked at that small heart and thought to myself, this must be God's will. Even the creatures of nature are telling me to hold on to you tightly.]

Han Lin followed Chaoge and recalled the original scene.

At that time, they had not yet confirmed their relationship and had just returned from Japan. It was an ambiguous period that both parties were aware of.

Han Lin discovered in Japan that Chaoge liked animals, so after returning home, he took him to the city zoo. Unexpectedly, although Chaoge was a local, it was his first time to visit the zoo and he loved it.

But at that time, Han Lin's heart was completely on Chaoge. Relying on the fact that he was taller than Chaoge, he stood behind Chaoge like a pervert, and his eyes never left Chaoge.

He had no recollection of what birds he had seen.

Han Lin looked at the little bird with green feathers on the branch in front of him.

There was indeed a light-colored scar on the bird's leg. From their position, it looked like a small heart, very small and impossible to see if you didn't pay attention.

"Thank you." Han Lin said to the green-feathered bird, "It's because of you that Chaoge wants to hold me captive."

Chaoge laughed and nudged Han Lin with her elbow in embarrassment: [No!]

"Come to think of it, although I have no impression of this bird, I have a very clear memory of the squirrels outside." Han Lin said, "The first time we came to the park, you went to the bathroom halfway. While I was waiting for you outside, I saw a wild squirrel squatting on a tree branch, wagging its tail. Its little face was chubby, just like yours."

"You look like a squirrel." Chaoge narrowed her eyes. "I've lost weight, okay? Don't just look at my face, look at my waist."

"No need to look." Han Lin said, "I hold you in my arms every night when you sleep. How can I not know how thin your waist is? If you get any thinner, when mom and the others come up to play, they'll say I can't take good care of you."

"My parents wouldn't say that." Chaoge leaned sideways on Han Lin's arm, gesturing wistfully, "My parents haven't come to visit me in a while. I miss them a little."

"Then invite them up to play." Han Lin said, "It just so happens that I haven't had my physical examination this year, so I'll stop by the hospital to get a checkup."

They were talking about Chaoge's parents.

Chaoge is not a city dweller. He grew up in the countryside. Although it is called the countryside, the transportation in their area is well-developed. There is a bridge in the middle, so it doesn’t take long to drive from the countryside to the city.

When he was a child, he did not live in the school dormitory. Every morning, his father would ride the family tricycle to take him to the bus stop at the entrance of the village. Then he would spend one yuan to ride five stops to get to school.

"I'll send them a message tonight to see when it's convenient for them to come over." Chaoge gestured, "I'll have to trouble you again then."

"What's the problem? We've moved to a new house, and they haven't come to see it yet. They can stay for a few more days while they're here. The guest room can accommodate them." Han Lin said, "You can persuade them to play for a while and take them around the neighborhood."

Chaoge nodded.

"And the massager and foot basin I mentioned last time, take them back with you when you send them home when they come this time. Don't forget them again." Han Lin instructed.

Chaoge smiled and nodded.

Han Lin cares a lot about his parents.

As early as a few years ago, the two of them had returned to their hometown to meet their parents. Chaoge's parents were easy-going and accommodating to Chaoge. In addition, Han Lin was such an outstanding young man, so they were very satisfied that Chaoge could find such a reliable person.

Compared to the endless obstacles he encountered when coming out at Han Lin's house, coming out at Chaoge's house was simply a gentle and easy task.

It is also because of them that Han Lin sighs from time to time that only a family like Chaoge's can raise a kind and lovely little angel like Chaoge.

I don’t know how lucky he was to meet such a Chaoge.
