Chapter 65 Family Happiness

The house Chaoge and his family bought was neither too big nor too small, with three bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen.

There are three rooms, one for the master, one for the guest and a study. The two living rooms are connected and separated by a small two-step staircase in the middle, which visually determines the height of the house.

The overall design of Chaoge is simple and elegant, and there are many small surprises in the details, which often give people a bright feeling, warm, lively and interesting.

Chaoge held her mother's hand and followed behind her father and Han Lin, listening to Han Lin introduce the imaginative little designs he had placed at home, and from time to time secretly communicating with her mother some of the mother-son secrets.

Perhaps the noise was a little loud, and when they reached the guest bedroom, Han Xiaojun, who was wearing pajamas, opened the door with a confused look on his face and yawned at them.

"This is..." he said to his father, "Xiaojun."

"Yes, he's my younger brother, Han Xiaojun." Han Lin said, placing his hand on Han Xiaojun's shoulder. "Xiaojun calls me uncle and aunt."

Han Xiaojun was still asleep. It was too early. He called out in a daze, "Hello, uncle and aunt."

Chao's father and mother have always known that Han Lin's family is not very supportive of them. Although they have some opinions in their hearts, they also know that it is not Han Lin's problem and have never blamed Han Lin.

I didn't expect to see Han Lin's younger brother this time, and judging from his appearance, he seemed to have lived here for a long time.

Chaoge's mother immediately looked at Chaoge.

Chaoge explained it to her briefly using sign language. This matter was a bit complicated. Chaoge didn't want to send a message and was waiting for his parents to come and talk in person.

"Go wash your face and wake up first," Han Lin said. "Your brother Xiao Chao's parents are here, so don't lie in bed."

Han Xiaojun suddenly perked up and tugged at the corner of his clothes awkwardly.

Oh my god, this is the first time I met Xiao Chao’s parents, and he was dressed like this, so ugly!

Han Xiaojun ran to the bathroom quickly.

The few of them didn't walk around any longer and returned to the living room to chat. Chaoge took the opportunity to tell his parents about Han Xiaojun.

"That's good. A family with many people is a great place." Chao said to his father, "He's going to take the high school entrance exam soon, right? Do you need your brother to tutor him?"

Chaotong has good grades and is the best among the three children in his family.

"If Xiaotong isn't busy, you can ask him to come over occasionally. He hasn't graduated yet, so he can still do a lot of things." Chaoge gestured, "Xiaojun had some difficult science questions earlier that were giving me a headache. I haven't done them in a while, so I gave them all back to the teacher."

"He's not busy. He's been playing at home since the holidays. He takes a bath in the pond every day and has become tanned." Chao said to his father, "He's turned into a black boy."

"The dark spots are fine," Han Lin said. "Your skin tone is healthy and looks good."

Chaoge immediately gestured: [Then I'll go get some sun and get a tan.]

Han Lin: "...Goodbye."

Chaoge laughed: [Look, Mom, he doesn’t really like dark skin at all.]

Chao Ge pretended to pat her mother: "Don't tease Han Lin, can you speak?"

Chaoge shrank her neck and gestured in a "grieved" manner: "Ever since Han Lin came into my life, I'm no longer the treasure in your hearts."

Han Xiaojun also finished washing and changing his clothes, and slowly moved over.

"Hello, uncle and aunt." Seeing Chaoge's parents looking at him, Han Xiaojun greeted them timidly.

"This is the first time we meet, Xiaojun," he said to his mother, "I heard Xiaoge talk about you before. Thank you for protecting Xiaoge last time."

Han Xiaojun's face turned a little red. He had been worried about someone praising him recently. He felt that this matter was nothing and not worth praising. Every time someone mentioned it, he felt extremely embarrassed.

I don’t know what to say.

Chaoge could see that he was feeling awkward, so he subtly changed the topic.

Han Xiaojun breathed a sigh of relief.

At noon, the family went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. Chaoge and his family had been to this restaurant several times. The food was delicious and it was very suitable for banquets.

When we arrived at the door, Chaotong, Chaoge, her sister and brother-in-law, and their daughter Nuonuo were playing on the dam outside.

Nuonuo was held above Chaotong's head and laughed happily. The child's laughter could be heard from a long distance away.

After meeting, the few people greeted each other and walked in. Chaoge liked Nuonuo, so she took little Nuonuo from Chaotong, held her hand and went in with Han Lin.

Chaotong hadn't seen Han Xiaojun for several days and was so happy to see him. They used to sleep in the same room, chat at night, and even added each other on WeChat. They had a good relationship.

With Chaotong around, Han Xiaojun could also greet Chaoge's sisters and brothers-in-law properly, and it wasn't too awkward for them.

"Xiaojun, I heard from my mother that you have been living in your brother's house recently?" Chaotong asked.

Han Xiaojun didn't think there was anything wrong with living in Chaoge's house. When Chaotong asked him this, he suddenly realized that Chaotong was Chaoge's younger brother, and he hadn't come to live there, but he had been occupying the spot.

Han Xiaojun didn't know how to answer.

"Brother sent me a message before, asking me to come over and stay for a few days, saying that I can help you with your homework." Chao Tong didn't notice Han Xiaojun's awkwardness and said to himself, "But brother's house only has one guest room. If I come, I have to sleep in the same room with you, is that okay?"

Han Xiaojun nodded. He was willing to give up the room.

"School is about to start anyway, so I might as well come back and review my lessons." Chao Tong said, "By the way, did you know that next week is the seventh anniversary of my brother and his family's wedding?"

Of course Han Xiaojun knew that he was thinking about the seventh anniversary of Chaoge and Han Lin. The seven-year itch is the most likely to cause problems, so he wanted to break them up, but he failed and ended up "losing" himself.

"Yeah, I know." Han Xiaojun said.

"Let's get them a gift together." Chao Tong said, "I've been thinking about what gifts to buy them for a few months, but I can't think of anything. I'm almost going bald."

Han Xiaojun pursed her lips and said, "If we send them together, won't that mean there will be one less gift?"

"You have a point. Let's give them separately." Chao Tong didn't care about these things. He just wanted to complain and didn't really want to drag Han Xiaojun to buy gifts together.

"They will definitely be out playing, and there'll be no one at home. How about I take you out to play?" Chao Tong asked. "You know I have a band, right? Do you want to come see our rehearsal room?"

Han Xiaojun had wanted to go for a long time: "Can I really go? I want to go!"

"Of course, I'll take you there when the time comes, so we don't have to disturb my brother and his world of two." Chao Tong said, "I don't know what they are going to do that day."

Han Xiaojun glanced at Chaoge and Han Lin who were walking in front, then leaned over to Chaotong's ear and whispered, "I know a little bit."

"Really?" Chao Tong hadn't expected this. "What are they going to do?"

"Go to the zoo." said Han Xiaojun.

"Ah? No way, why?" Chao Tong was surprised. "I haven't been to the zoo in years. Why do we have to go to the zoo on our anniversary?"

"I don't know, it seems like it's because Brother Xiao Chao likes it." Han Xiaojun said, "As long as he likes it, it's fine. We can go anywhere."

As long as the person you love is by your side, you can be happy even if you don’t go anywhere.
