Chapter 74 Family Happiness

"Why are you here?" Chaoge ran over excitedly and asked on her phone.

"I happened to be here early, so I came in to pick you up." Han Lin said, "Let's go, let's go eat."

Chaoge was very happy. He wanted to hold Han Lin's hand, but their relationship had not reached that stage yet. He could only follow Han Lin step by step.

"This is my first time at your school," Han Lin said. "It's very beautiful."

When my alma mater Chaoge was praised, I felt like I was being praised too, and my eyes were curved with smiles.

"If you like, you can come here often. I'll be your tour guide around the school." Chaoge typed.

"Okay, I'll do it next time," Han Lin said.

This time they made an appointment to eat Japanese food together.

Although they returned to China, they chose a slightly "familiar" environment for the sake of transition because they often saw each other in Japan.

The dishes they ordered were the ones they usually liked, but the taste in China was different from that in Japan. The two of them commented in low voices while eating. Seeing that Han Lin didn't look very satisfied, Chaoge felt the urge to learn how to cook Japanese food.

Han Lin likes to eat, so if he can cook, then there will be a chance to find an excuse to bring Han Lin to eat.

Chaoge thought, why not just rent a house and live outside, so that he could invite Han Lin to his house for dinner, as a single man.

I've made some extra money recently, which is enough to rent a house.

They had a very happy date that day. In the afternoon, they went to a nearby arcade to play games together. It was not until the evening that Han Lin sent Chaoge back to the Academy of Fine Arts.

However, Han Lin, who was studying for a doctorate, was much busier after returning to China than when he was in Japan. He did not have much time to date Chaoge, and his visits to the Academy of Fine Arts were even fewer.

Most of the time, Chaoge went to the Medical University to find Han Lin.

"A lot has changed here," said Han Lin.

[After I graduated, a lot of the school was renovated. I heard the dormitories are much more luxurious now, with separate wet and dry bathrooms and an elevator.] Chaoge gestured.

"It's so true. School always gets better after graduation." Han Lin said, "Our school is the same."

[Dormitories for PhD students are completely different from those for undergraduates, right?] Chaoge gestured, [I used to be so envious when I visited your dormitories.]

"Then why don't you stay overnight?" Han Lin said.

[It’s different…] Chaoge blushed, [Okay, we’ve finished exploring here, let’s go to the next place.]

After visiting the school, it was the hottest time of the afternoon, so the two of them walked to the nearby mall and started strolling around.

Passing by a pet store, Chaoge pulled Han Lin in to show clothes to Xiao Erzhong and Xiao Laji.

[This is so cute, I want it!] Chaoge gestured.

"Buy it." Han Lin said.

[No, I can make it myself.] Chaoge gestured, [The clothes are very simple, I just need to take a look.]

"Is there anything else you don't know?" Han Lin asked.

[There are many things I don’t know, and very few I know.] Chaoge gestured, [Do you know what I know best?]

"Painting? Cooking?" Han Lin asked.

Chaoge shook her head: [I love you the most!]

Han Lin laughed: "A cheesy love talk?"

[From the bottom of my heart, don’t I love you enough?] Chaoge gestured.

"It's not enough, you can love a little more." Han Lin said.

Chaoge thought, of course he would love her a little more, a little more every day.

After leaving the pet shop, Chaoge bought two new cat toys and some small clothes.

Although he said he didn't want to spend money, Chaoge couldn't help but buy things when he saw something nice.

"We still have some fabric at home. I'll make them some new clothes when I get home." Chaoge gestured, "I'll make one for you, too."

"I just did it by chance. If it was just by chance, I might not want it that much." Han Lin said jokingly.

[You're annoying.] Chaoge pinched Han Lin's arm, [You know clearly that's not what I meant.]

"Is it difficult to make clothes?" Han Lin asked.

[It’s not difficult, it’s very simple.] Chaoge gestured.

"Then I want to learn and make one for you." Han Lin said, "Is that okay?"

Chaoge was surprised: [Really?!]

"Well, you always do it for me, and I want to do it for you once too." Han Lin said.

"Although making clothes isn't difficult, based on your performance in the kitchen, I think your hands-on skills are limited to surgery, not cooking or crafts." Chaoge gestured, "How about I do it myself? I'll make us a couple's outfit."

"I want to do it." Han Lin said, "Teach me."

[Okay then.] Chaoge will protect me. [I'll teach you when you're not busy.]

The author has something to say: I originally planned to write more, but today I met a ZZ
