Chapter 7 Eat Well

Chaoge often played games with them at night. Han Lin glanced at his phone screen distractedly: "Playing games?"

Chaoge nodded.

"Sit up and play with your eyes." Han Lin said.

Chaoge didn't want to sit up, so she pretended to struggle hard on Han Lin's chest, making movements as if she was trying to get up, but she really couldn't, and even secretly took advantage of him, and finally collapsed on Han Lin's chest again.

As a doctor who works in the operating room all year round, Han Lin must maintain a strong physique and sufficient strength, so no matter how busy he is every day, he will find time to exercise. His figure is naturally incomparable to that of a little otaku like Chaoge.

Chaoge was very greedy for Han Lin's body, and he didn't want to get up from Han Lin.

"Little rascal." Han Lin gently pinched Chaoge's chubby face, which felt very good.

Chaoge couldn't speak, and rubbed Han Lin's fingers affectionately.

Han Lin's fingers are long and strong, Chaoge likes them extremely much. Whether Han Lin is holding hands and hugging her, or when they are communicating in the dead of night, these hands are very soulful.

After watching the surgical video for more than half an hour, Han Lin put away the tablet and said, "It's time to go to bed."

Chaoge made a "two" gesture to him with his finger, meaning that the game would end in about two minutes. Han Lin nodded, lifted him up from his chest, and lowered his head to watch him play the game.

After reading it, Han Lin concluded mercilessly: "He's a weakling with a strong addiction."

Chaoge punched him in the chest in anger.

Hee, those elastic pectoral muscles.

The next day, Han Lin and Chaoge got up early. Chaoge made breakfast while Han Lin ran in the living room.

At half past seven, Han Lin finished running and went into the guest room to call for help.

"Han Xiaojun, get up." The last time Han Lin called a child to get up was many years ago when he called his second brother.

His second brother was a dead pig that was not afraid of boiling water, so Han Lin followed his previous habit and pulled the quilt off without mercy.

As a result, he still failed to lift it up. It was a hot day, Han Xiaojun turned the air conditioner to 16 degrees, and wrapped himself in a thick quilt like a silkworm cocoon.

Han Lin: ...

"Han Xiaojun, are you wasting your time?" Han Lin frowned and turned off the air conditioner. "Hurry up and have breakfast. After breakfast, I'll take you back to pack up."

Han Xiaojun lay there motionless like a corpse.

Han Lin pushed him: "Wake up, don't sleep anymore."

After Chaoge finished cooking, she heard the noise and came over to look for someone. Seeing Han Xiaojun curled up tighter and tighter in the quilt, she pulled Han Lin out of the room with amusement.

"Let him sleep a little longer; it's a rare weekend." Chaoge gestured.

"It's 7:30 and you're still sleeping." Han Lin was speechless. "Let's go to my mom's place later and get his things. Then I'll go to the hospital and you take the things home."

Chaoge nodded.

"If he bothers you at home during the day, tell me and I'll take him back home after get off work." Han Lin said, "Don't be polite. I'll scold him if he doesn't obey."

[You are such a devilish brother.] Chaoge gestured, [So fierce.]

"Am I fierce?" Han Lin said, "He's just too naughty."

"But you don't know him at all. You've only heard everything from others. He even thanked me yesterday, which seemed quite polite." Chaoge gestured, "And Diandian also said he likes you very much."

"Come on, he's just good at pretending. Let's eat first, and then go get the food." Han Lin made the decision.

Before leaving, Chaoge tiptoed into the guest room and left a note for Han Xiaojun on the bedside table, telling him that breakfast was in the kitchen, and also writing where they were going and when they would be back.

Han Lin stood at the door with his arms folded, watching, and only after he left did he say, "You are very suitable to be a father."

Chaoge gestures: [I don't mind you calling me dad.]

Han Lin pinched his cheeks and said, "I was praising you for being attentive. I, your brother, can't catch up with you."

[That's good to know. It's not too late to correct it now.] Chaoge gestured.

"Forget it, I don't really want to be involved too much with little brats. You know I don't like children." Han Lin said.

Han Lin really doesn't like children, as he thinks they are noisy and troublesome. When friends and relatives bring their children, he won't go up to play with them like other people do, but will stay as far away from them as possible.

Chaoge is different. According to Han Lin, Chaoge is the representative of overflowing fatherly love, and he is full of love for all kinds of people and animals.

Chaoge was still driving the car. Han Lin had surgery during the day. Chaoge understood him and wanted him to conserve his energy.

If Chaoge hadn't gone to Han Lin's mother's house by himself, Han Lin's mother would definitely not open the door for him. Chaoge even wanted to send Han Lin directly to the hospital and let him get the clothes himself.

Unfortunately, Han Lin's mother doesn't like him.

After arriving at the place, Chaoge did not get out of the car, but sat downstairs waiting for Han Lin.

As I sat there, I couldn't help but start thinking about all sorts of things.

Han Lin's mother has a strong personality, and Han Lin is also a tough guy. Every year, they have countless fights because of him.

Chaoge felt very uncomfortable about this matter.

He has a strong sense of family and believes that the most important thing for a family is harmony and happiness. If possible, he hopes to live in peace with Han Lin's parents and two younger brothers and become a real family.

Instead of being like now, where they have the closest relationship but hate each other.

However, Chaoge did not dare to express his thoughts too much in front of Han Lin. He knew that Han Lin had to bear a lot of unnecessary pressure between him and his parents, and he did not want to add more troubles to Han Lin.

No matter how many thoughts you have, you can only keep them in your heart.

Han Lin came down quickly, carrying a bulging schoolbag in his hand.

"Let's go to the hospital." Han Lin said.

Chaoge nodded and drove Han Lin to the hospital.

When Chaoge got home, Han Xiaojun was still sleeping in the bedroom. Chaoge stood outside the door and thought for a while, but finally did not go in to wake him up.

He met Han Xiaojun for the first time yesterday and had a strong impression of her.

Because Han Xiaojun and Han Lin look so much alike, he finally understood why Lin Dian had said that Han Xiaojun was the younger version of Han Lin. That face with a childish look, with a deliberately serious and cold expression, was simply adorable.

He couldn't help but start imagining what it would be like if he and Han Lin had a child. Would the child be as cute as Han Xiaojun?

Unfortunately, neither he nor Han Lin can have children, and Han Lin hates children.

With a hint of melancholy, Chaoge walked into the study and started his day's work.

Although he is a freelancer, Chaoge still strictly sets working hours for himself. He doesn't like to pile up things until the deadline and then start working frantically. Chaoge is more willing to allocate time reasonably and complete his work with ease.

He currently has three commercial illustrations and a regular monthly children's picture book illustration job. It's not too much work, but it's not too little either. If he draws slowly, he can just finish them. If he works faster, he can even draw a few more.

Generally, when drawing commercial manuscripts or monthly illustrations, Chaoge would not broadcast live, but would stay in seclusion in his study.

Chaoge stopped painting at 11 o'clock.

He listened carefully to the noises in the room and guessed that Han Xiaojun had not gotten up yet.

I can't sleep any more at this hour.

Chaoge thought that he should wake him up and prepare for lunch.

However, Chaoge was a little afraid to call out.

He had a bad relationship with Han Lin's parents, and even Han Lin's younger brother treated him with a cold brow. The only other person he hadn't met before was Han Xiaojun, whom he could sense a slight dislike towards him, though it wasn't a serious one.

He really wanted to improve his relationship with Han Xiaojun, so he was afraid of making a wrong move.

Chaoge sat in the chair and thought for a while before getting up and deciding to go to the kitchen to cook first.

The kind that smells so good that she opens Han Xiaojun's bedroom door and wakes him up with the aroma of delicious food.

Chaoge didn't know what kind of food Han Xiaojun liked, but they were all from S Province, and people here liked spicy food. Chaoge felt that going in this direction would not be wrong.

Boiled pork slices and spicy chicken, plus a bowl of preserved egg and cucumber soup, served with delicious tomato and egg fried rice.

When Han Xiaojun opened his eyes, there was a trace of transparent liquid at the corner of his mouth.

He rubbed his eyes drowsily, his mind following the fragrance, his thoughts still not clear.

Chaoge is a great chef. His parents cook very delicious meals. He has been following his parents around since he was a child, watching them cook. When he grew up, he learned from them and gradually mastered the exquisite cooking skills.

Han Xiaojun lay paralyzed in bed for several minutes before he realized that he had run away from home to his eldest brother's house last night and slept in for an extra long time. Now he was finally awakened by hunger.

He was really hungry, and his eldest brother's house smelled really good.

As soon as Han Xiaojun put his hand on his stomach, he heard a deafening "gulp" sound coming from inside.

Shit, people are starving.

He immediately got out of bed and went to the bathroom next door to run water and wash up.

After finishing quickly, Han Xiaojun couldn't wait to run to the kitchen. Before he could take a closer look, he shouted to the inside with true feelings: "Brother!"

Chaoge turned around and looked at him in surprise.

Han Xiaojun: "...Where's my brother?"

Chaoge put down the shovel in her hand and typed on her phone: [He went to work. It’s just the two of us at home today. The food is ready. Let’s eat together^_^]

Han Xiaojun frowned and looked at the facial expression Chaoge added at the end with some disgust, thinking that even if he starved to death, he would never eat a single bite of the stinky vixen's food.

Chaoge typed again: [I don't know what you like to eat, so I just made a few random dishes. You can tell me what you like to eat later and I'll make it for you.]

Han Xiaojun sneered in his heart. How could a stinky vixen make the food he liked to eat?

Seeing that Han Xiaojun didn't move, Chaoge reached out and tentatively pushed Han Xiaojun towards the dining room.

Han Xiaojun actually followed him for two steps, intending to slap him in the face when he saw the food Chaoge cooked, tell the stinky vixen "Is that all?", and then order takeout without even looking back.

The decisive blow!

Han Xiaojun walked to the dinner table confidently and was stunned.

In the middle of the table is a large portion of boiled pork slices that are still sizzling with oil. The hot red oil soup soaks the tender pieces of meat, and bright red chili powder is evenly spread on it, covered by a few green vegetables that add fragrance and brightness.

Next to the boiled pork slices is the spicy chicken, which is just as fragrant. The whole plate is a spicy red color, with the chili peppers and diced chicken perfectly blended together. Just by looking at it, Han Xiaojun couldn't help but drool in his mouth.

Next to the two spicy dishes is the refreshing century egg and cucumber soup, and the sweet tomato and egg fried rice.

Han Xiaojun couldn't walk anymore.

He found that he seemed to have pushed himself into a pit.
