Chapter 1: Never let them know you can see!

Never let them know you can see!

Whatever you do, don't let them know you can see this!!!

In a daze, Fang Xiu opened his sleepy eyes, and on the white ceiling, dense, blood-red characters pierced his vision.

His eyes were vacant, his pupils slightly unfocused, and he looked dazed, as if he had just woken up. But the next second, his pupils suddenly contracted, and he woke up with a start, like a frightened bird.

He sat up abruptly.

"This...this is..."

Fang Xiu looked up, staring in shock and disbelief at the blood-red characters covering the ceiling. The crimson characters, densely packed with blood, covered the ceiling, their crooked and twisted forms resembling wriggling tadpoles, creating a bizarre and grotesque effect.

His mind was completely blank. He couldn't understand why, when he was sleeping peacefully at home, his bedroom ceiling was covered in writing after he woke up, as if someone had bitten their finger and written it bit by bit.

"What happened? Who wrote on my ceiling?"

"Whatever you do...don't...let them know that you can see?"

Fang Xiu subconsciously read the dense, blood-red characters on the ceiling.

However, the next second, the blood-red characters covering the ceiling vanished into thin air, disappearing abruptly as if they had never existed.

Fang Xiu rubbed his eyes hard in disbelief, and then looked up again, but no matter how he tried, he couldn't see any blood-red words at all, only a white ceiling.

"How is this possible?! Am I still half asleep? Did I get too many rewards? Am I hallucinating? Or am I dreaming?" Fang Xiu began to question his eyes.

"But the font just now was too clear, too realistic."

Such a bizarre event made Fang Xiu feel inexplicably uneasy, and his heart was beating very fast.

Whether it was a hallucination or reality, Fang Xiu just wanted to leave the bedroom as soon as possible and get some fresh air.

But just as he was about to get off the bed, his eyes subconsciously looked around, and he suddenly froze, as if struck by lightning.

"This isn't my bedroom!"

"What's going on? Am I still dreaming?"

Fang Xiu stared in disbelief at the unfamiliar room before him. The desk, computer, wardrobe, and bed—everything felt utterly foreign to him.

He was certain that this was not his bedroom.

"Where am I?!"

Fang Xiu did not drink alcohol yesterday, nor did he go to the wrong house. After finishing his overtime work yesterday, he clearly remembered that he returned home, ate a bowl of instant noodles, went to bed to watch a movie, and then fell asleep exhausted.

But now, the instant noodle container on the bedside table is gone, and the two wads of used toilet paper that I threw on the floor yesterday are also gone.

Everything was excessively neat, and excessively unfamiliar.

"What on earth is going on?" Fang Xiu murmured in disbelief, but the next second, a jumble of unfamiliar memories flooded his mind, causing him to lose his composure slightly.

After a moment, Fang Xiu came to his senses and stared blankly at his palm.

"Have I...time-traveled?"

"Have I transmigrated to a parallel world similar to my previous life?"

Fang Xiu was overwhelmed with thoughts. The unfamiliar memories he had just experienced were those of the original owner of this body. These memories were too numerous and too chaotic for him to process all at once. After all, they represented twenty years of life experience, and it was impossible to absorb them all in a short period of time. He could only pick out the important memories to look at first.

The original owner of the body was also named Fang Xiu. Like the Fang Xiu who transmigrated, he was an orphan, of similar age, and looked almost identical to Louis Koo.

The only difference is their life trajectories and their world backgrounds.

Fang Xiu, who traveled from another time, received financial assistance from kind people and worked hard, so he was admitted to a prestigious university and is currently studying there.

Fang Xiu, on the other hand, was not so lucky. He was forced to drop out of high school before finishing because he had no money and started working. He is currently a salesperson at a real estate sales office.

The world setting is similar to the previous one, but many historical events and figures are no longer the same.

"Even if I transmigrated, what was that blood-red writing all about? In the original owner's memories, nothing like that ever happened."

The eerie blood-red characters gave Fang Xiu a bad feeling. He searched his memory but found no relevant information.

Just then, suddenly!

A gentle female voice rang out from outside the bedroom.

"Honey, it's time for breakfast."

Fang Xiu was startled by the sudden sound, then paused, "Husband!?"

Am I married this early in this parallel universe? Or is my girlfriend? After all, it's not uncommon for boyfriends and girlfriends to address each other that way.

He hurriedly tried to recall his memories of his wife, but his thoughts were interrupted the next second as a beautiful figure in a white silk slip dress came into view.

Upon seeing his wife for the first time, Fang Xiu's eyes widened instinctively, and he was slightly dazed.

Having seen countless photoshopped beauties on short videos, Fang Xiu thought he had developed a high level of resistance to beautiful women. But when he saw his wife, his first reaction was nothing but amazement.

The woman in front of me was almost too beautiful.

She wore a pure white silk slip dress, its soft texture perfectly fitting her body and outlining her perfect, alluring curves.

The nightgown was very short, barely covering her rounded figure, and her long, fair legs were exposed to the air, gleaming with a cool white luster, like the most precious white jade in the world.
