In his perception, more and more cool air was gathering in his body, but after entering his body, this cool air disappeared without a trace, as if it had sunk into the sea.
This made Fang Xiu curious: where did the strange aura go after entering his body?
Could it be the mind?
He unconsciously immersed himself in the cool air, letting his consciousness flow with it to an unknown place, just like a small boat landing on a river and eventually flowing into the sea.
Here, Fang Xiu sensed a gray heart, beating slowly, as if covered with a layer of dust, dirty, and all the cold air eventually seeped into the heart.
Is the mind the same as the heart?
No, that's not right. The mind cannot be the heart.
The mind has no fixed form; the reason it is associated with the heart is because it is a manifestation of the subconscious.
This is my mind, and I should be able to control its shape.
In the blink of an eye, this gray heart slowly transformed into a sword, then into a knife, and even into Fang Xiu himself.
Clearly, Fang Xiu's guess was correct.
However, the shape of the mind is not important at all; what matters is igniting spirituality.
And so, the mind once again took the shape of a heart.
As more and more cool air seeped in, the heartbeat became more and more intense, faintly emitting a light, but all of this was blocked by the dust on the surface.
Fang Xiu waited patiently for a moment, and finally, the change occurred.
There's no breakthrough of bottlenecks as depicted in fantasy novels; it's simply a matter of things progressing naturally.
Suddenly, the dust in one corner of the heart disappeared, as if it had been wiped away by something.
A black light, resembling a black hole, shone from that corner.
This is the original luster of Fang Xiu's soul.
The next moment, all the eerie auras converged towards the exposed corner, forming a crimson light that then invaded the mind.
Black light and blood light intertwined and reflected each other. The blood light seemed to want to pollute the black light into its own color, but no matter how they blended together, the black light remained unmoved.
In the end, the blood-red light merged into the black light, and everything returned to silence.
At that very moment, Fang Xiu felt that he had undergone a tremendous change!
In an instant, he felt as if he had been cleansed by the black light. His five senses became exceptionally sharp, and all his perceptions, including sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste, changed.
If in the past it was as if the world was seen through a veil, now the veil is gone, and the most real world is fully exposed before our eyes.
In addition to enhanced senses, he felt that his thinking and nerve reaction speed had also improved to some extent.
While his physical fitness didn't increase significantly, his control over his body greatly improved. If an ordinary person could only mobilize 40% of their muscles, Fang Xiu could mobilize over 80%.
Muscle movement is controlled by the brain, which in turn is dominated by the mind. Normally, people can only mobilize all their muscles to the maximum extent when they are under high mental stress or in a life-or-death crisis. Of course, this varies from person to person, and most people will never be able to do so before they die.
For example, Li Guang, a famous general of the Han Dynasty, once saw a stone in the grass during a patrol. Mistaking it for a crouching tiger, he drew his bow with all his might and shot it, managing to penetrate the stone three-tenths of an inch. But from then on, no matter how hard he shot, he could not penetrate the stone.
At this moment, Fang Xiu was able to unleash such power at any time. His body was still the same, but his level of control over it had undergone a complete transformation.
Furthermore, as their physical abilities improve in the future, the power they can unleash will also increase.
Gradually, Fang Xiu opened his eyes, and a glint of black light appeared in his clear black and white eyes.
"Is this spirituality?"
At this time, he had a deeper understanding of spirituality.
So-called spirituality is the product of the mind's own power being distorted by strange forces.
The mind itself possesses immense power, but this power cannot be applied to the real world; it exists only in the illusory world. Just as each person is the god of their own inner world, you can imagine being omnipotent in your mind, but this power cannot be applied to reality.
And the mysterious power is the tool that breaks down the illusion and reality.
A mind imbued with eerie power can influence the real world.
Of course, this does not mean that once you awaken your spirituality, you will be omnipotent in the spiritual world and the same in reality.
First, spirituality has only illuminated a corner, not the whole thing. According to Fang Xiu's estimate, the illuminated corner accounts for only about one percent of the total area of the mind, which means that only one percent of spirituality has been illuminated.
Secondly, even if one is 100% spiritual, it is unlikely that one can be omnipotent as one imagines, because the mind is not the same as fantasy; it is a combination of imagination, emotions, memories, mindset, and everything else.
The power of the mind is the power of the heart!
The stronger your inner self, the stronger your spiritual power will be, provided that there is enough supernatural power to merge with it; otherwise, it cannot affect reality.
All power has its own form of expression, and the power of the mind is no exception. Its form of expression is related to each person's inner world. What you care about most, what you desire most, and what you need most will be what you express.
It is also influenced by personality, imagination, environmental factors, and so on.
This is why each Spirit Master possesses different abilities.
The abilities of a Spirit Master are the manifestation of mental power; this is what is known as the power of mental reflection.
So what are my abilities?
Fang Xiu couldn't help but wonder.
Or rather, what is it that I yearn for most deep down?
With this question in mind, Fang Xiu began to mobilize his incredibly dark spirituality.
