Chapter 313 The Imperial Seal and the Tiger Tally

As night fell, Fang Xiu led the group to the platform where the eerie train was about to appear.

The people he brought with him were Li Xiaoru, Xiong Tianguang, Luo Qingxin, Yang Ming, and Xiao Chuxia.

Xiao Zhenhua did not come because he had to protect the minister.

The platform was deserted at this time; he had already sent people to clear the area in advance.

"Brother Xiu, when is the ghost train you mentioned coming?" Li Xiaoru asked.

"12 o'clock."

"12 o'clock?" Li Xiaoru, who considered himself a cultured man, raised his left hand, looked at the large gold watch on his wrist, and was immediately taken aback: "Isn't it already 12 o'clock?"

“That’s right, so it’s already here,” Fang Xiu said calmly, then strode towards the platform.

Only then did everyone realize that an old-fashioned train had appeared out of nowhere on the previously empty tracks.

This train is very old, almost like it comes from the last century.

Bang!

The train doors opened with a roar, seemingly welcoming everyone to board.

Li Xiaoru and the others immediately looked solemn. With their peak fourth-tier strength, they didn't even know when the ghost train appeared. How could they not be solemn?

Fang Xiu was the first to board the strange train, and the others followed behind him without hesitation.

Bang!

The doors of the eerie train slammed shut, and it began to slowly depart.

On the bus, Li Xiaoru and several other team leaders were looking around because it was their first time there.

"This ghost train is really old; it's definitely a product from a hundred years ago. I wonder how those spirit masters back then managed to build it?"

Luo Qingxin walked to the bus stop sign, looked at the words on it, and softly read: "Drum Tower, Desire Capital, Ancient Residence, Cemetery, Burial Ground?"

"A total of five stations. Could it be that the burial grounds are names given to spatial nodes by people from the previous era?"

“Very likely,” Yang Ming replied. “Last time we reached the third stop, the old house, and then we went back.”

"Go back? Are you in danger?"

Yang Ming shook his head: "It wasn't dangerous, it was more like a close call. After all, with Brother Xiu leading the team, the safety rate was 100%."

"Then why did you turn back at the third stop?"

"Because Hugh said he had seen the future, that we would all die at the fourth station, so we went back."

The captains' brows twitched.

"Brother Hugh, what kind of danger was there at the fourth stop that could wipe out your entire team?"

This was unbelievable to everyone. They had all witnessed Fang Xiu's performance during this period, and it could be said that in their hearts, Captain Fang was almost omnipotent except for not being able to have children.

Even so, the all-powerful Captain Fang couldn't get past the fourth station?

Everyone started to feel uncertain.

Fang Xiu calmly explained, "Don't worry, the reason I couldn't get through last time was because I was only at the second level. The strange creature in the fourth station, the graveyard, has the ability to bury others with the soil."

This ability is similar to a fourth-order domain power, so it cannot be broken by anyone below the fourth order.

"I'm already at the third tier, and I'm also leading several of you peak fourth-tier Spirit Masters. That should be enough to get us through the fourth stage."

Upon hearing this, everyone relaxed slightly. After Fang Xiu's reminder, they realized that their captain was actually a third-tier Spirit Master.

After spending some time together, and given Fang Xiu's consistent performance, the team captains subconsciously overlooked his rank, habitually placing him on an equal or even higher level than themselves.

So when they heard that Fang Xiu couldn't even get past the fourth stop, they couldn't help but start to worry.

Now I understand, I couldn't pass the second level, but I can now.

Amidst the casual conversation, we soon arrived at our first stop, the Drum Tower.

A drum tower more than five meters high came into view. It was painted dark red, with the paint fading in many places, and looked very old and dilapidated, as if it might collapse at any moment.

At the top of the Drum Tower stands a huge red-lacquered drum with a white surface, and a slender, bamboo-like figure with a head as big as a winter melon is energetically playing the drum.

"It's that big-headed doll again?" Yang Ming was quite surprised: "Brother Xiu, I remember you beat it to death with a big punch last time, didn't you?"

Fang Xiu was not surprised to see the big-headed doll, because the last time he tried to devour it, its body turned into wood and broke apart inch by inch, and the strange power within it disappeared.

He speculated that the big-headed doll might not be a real monster, but rather a man-made puppet infused with eerie power.

But none of that matters anymore.

At this moment, a clicking sound came from the neck of the big-headed doll, and its head turned 180 degrees to face the crowd.

Her face was incredibly round, with thick blush on her cheeks, her eyes were like copper bells, and her lips were like cherries.

He stared straight at everyone.

However, the crowd was not frightened by this creepy scene; instead, they found the big-headed doll's appearance particularly comical.

Li Xiaoru yawned: "Who's coming?"

"I'll do it," Luo Qingxin said coldly. Then, with a light wave of her hand, a chilling aura shot out and instantly covered the big-headed doll.

The big-headed doll was frozen solid into an ice sculpture, then exploded with a bang, shattering into pieces.

"Let's go, next stop," Fang Xiu instructed, then led everyone onto the vehicle.

He didn't even glance at the big-headed doll once. It was something he could easily kill when it was at level two, let alone now.

Soon, we arrived at our next stop, Yudu.

Without Zhao Hao, this hurdle was much easier to overcome.

Luo Qingxin was naturally cold-hearted, and her ability was also ice-based; she simply cooled herself down and overcame her desires.
