Chapter 5 Hell is empty, but the strange exists among men.

On the streets and in the sky, countless hideous and terrifying creatures stood tall, densely packed and overwhelming, stretching as far as the eye could see.

It's as if this is a bizarre world, and humans are the outcasts.

A humanoid creature, shrouded in black shadows and without facial features, walks down the street.

A headless giant, comparable to skyscrapers, moves between buildings.

A blood-soaked figure, its skin peeled off, floats in mid-air beneath a gigantic, eyeless head. Countless scarlet tentacles extend from its neck, alongside countless other creatures of various shapes, deformed bodies, and grotesque, eerie appearances, drifting about like dandelions.

But these strange occurrences are on a completely different level compared to the strange occurrences above the dome.

Above the dome, a pair of enormous, pure white wings blotted out the sun. The wings were so white and holy that they resembled the wings of an angel.

But these wings are attached to a single eye covered in bloodshot tumors.

That single eye seemed larger than the sun, radiating an eerie red light that was oppressive, taboo, and ominous.

In the distant sky, there stood a bride dressed in a red wedding gown with a large double happiness character embroidered on her chest. She was slender and graceful, with her white hands folded elegantly in front of her.

It sounds normal, but the bride is wearing a rabbit's head!

The rabbit's fur was pure white without a single blemish, its eyes were blood-red like two rubies, and it wore a human-like smile on its face.

Bizarre, extremely bizarre.

Despite being a rabbit's head, she gives off the feeling of a refined lady from ancient times, as if she were truly an extremely dignified and beautiful bride.

Besides these two, there are some even more bizarre and indescribable creatures.

The grayish-white, slimy behemoth was covered with countless eyeballs. These eyeballs were constantly bursting like bubbles, and new eyeballs would grow out of the flesh after they burst, in an endless cycle.

It is entirely black, with a solemn and dignified appearance, but its head is covered with fleshy growths.

An invisible substance, containing countless roaring human faces in black mist.

Huge and eerie clay statues of gods.

Each one is extremely taboo, terrifying, and incomprehensible.

These eerie beings atop the dome formed a striking image, seemingly emanating countless indescribable, incomprehensible, filthy yet real messages that constantly assaulted Fang Xiu's soul.

At that moment, he seemed to hear countless babbling tales filled with evil and depravity, sounds that no human could utter, each word containing a pollution that could drive a person mad.

If it were the old Fang Xiu, he probably would have collapsed after just one look.

But by this time, Fang Xiu had already died eighteen times and been eaten alive eighteen times. If he truly had a soul, it would have been twisted beyond recognition by death, madness, and hatred.

These strange occurrences, though terrifying, were not enough to break his mind. Instead, they made his soul even more twisted and insane. Or rather, his mind had always been in a state of collapse, and this mental pollution was more like a baptism for him.

"Heh... haha..."

"Hahahaha........"

Fang Xiu suddenly burst into uncontrollable laughter, but his laughter was extremely distorted and suppressed, as if it were being forced out of his throat, which was chilling.

For some reason, seeing all the strange things in the world made him want to laugh, and he couldn't stop laughing.

He didn't want the strange creature to notice anything amiss, so he covered his mouth, but the twisted laughter still couldn't be suppressed and spilled out from between his fingers.

So he could only lower his head, his fair face hidden by the shadows, but it couldn't hide his burning, crazed eyes.

"Interesting... This world is so interesting! Hahaha..."

"Cough cough..."

The intense laughter caused him to cough uncontrollably, but the more he coughed, the more intense his laughter became, which in turn made his coughing even more severe, to the point that he began to gag.

"Uncle, what's wrong? Are you sick?"

A little girl came into Fang Xiu's view.

She was a little girl, about four or five years old, with two pigtails, eating a lollipop.

He wasn't surprised to see the little girl. Based on his predecessor's memories, he knew that this world seemed normal on the surface, and people lived normal lives, going to school, working, getting married, and having children.

It seems that no one knows about these strange existences.

Therefore, it's quite normal for a little girl to appear in the neighborhood.

He tried to suppress his smile and make himself appear more amiable.

"I'm fine, little sister. And remember to call me brother."

Fang Xiu reached out his hand, wanting to pat the head of the cute little girl in front of him. Once upon a time, he had also fantasized about having a lovely daughter someday.

However, the little girl's next words made his hand freeze in mid-air.

"You can see me!"

The little girl's innocent expression vanished instantly, replaced by the same suppressed, frantic joy as her wife.

Fang Xiu was slightly taken aback, then burst into uncontrollable laughter again.

"Hahaha... Interesting! This is really interesting."

This time, he laughed until tears streamed down his face.

Snap!

He pressed his hand heavily on the little girl's head and vigorously ruffled her hair.

But the next moment, his hand was flung away.

Because the little girl was expanding wildly at a visible rate, her originally small body was like an inflating balloon, with countless scarlet flesh gushing out and constantly being squeezed out of her body.

In the blink of an eye, the innocent and lovely little girl transformed into a grotesque, fleshy creature over two meters tall, resembling a mountain of flesh composed of countless exposed flesh and covered with dense blood vessels.

The two pigtails turned into two thick, dark horns, and the lollipop in her hand turned into a large white bone club, which seemed to be the leg bone of some unknown creature.

"You can see me!!"

The little girl screamed wildly.

Fang Xiu laughed as he looked at her, the light in his eyes seemingly even more frenzied than the strangeness before him.

"I prefer you to be the way you are now than before, because... this way I won't feel any burden when I kill you in the future."

The little girl roared and raised the massive white bone club that was taller than a person. The shadow cast by the club enveloped Fang Xiu completely, like the shadow of death.

Fang Xiu was still laughing: "Now I finally know why I'm laughing, because there are just too many weirdos like you, so many that they excite me! So many that I'm not worried at all about not having enough to kill in the future!"

Hahaha...you...all! deserve to die!!!

Bang!

The massive bone club crashed down, smashing Fang Xiu into a bloody pulp.
