Extra Chapter: Xiao Chuxia

The bright windows had turned a dull yellow, the floor was filthy as if it hadn't been cleaned for years, and a faint stench of decay lingered in the air.

"This doesn't seem to be the high-speed train we used to ride, but an old-fashioned train!"

"This is so old! Even if we go back ten or twenty years, we wouldn't see a train this old. This model seems to be one of the earliest trains from a hundred years ago."

“Brother Xiu, this old-fashioned train is still running. Who is driving it? Could it be a ghost?” Yang Ming suddenly asked.

"I don't care who was driving, I just want to know where the flight attendant went? Why did everyone disappear, and only a few of us are left?"

It's no surprise that Zhao Hao is the one who said such a thing.

"This strange train should only accept people with spirituality. Ordinary people are still on the high-speed train. Let's go and check out the locomotive first."

Fang Xiu gave the order, and no one objected. They followed him toward the locomotive.

As they walked, all the private rooms they passed were empty and eerily silent.

They tried to attack the glass to see if they could break it, but everything seemed to be frozen in time, and they couldn't damage the car at all.

Finally, everyone got into the driver's seat.

A crisp clicking sound came from inside, as if someone was operating the driving instruments.

The group's expressions immediately hardened, and they exchanged glances, intending to sneak in and take a look.

On such a bizarre train, the possibility of a human being in the control room is almost nonexistent; it can only be a mystery.

Just then, Fang Xiu raised his hand to stop everyone's actions, and calmly said to the control room, "Come out, we are from the Green Vine City Investigation Bureau."

Upon hearing this, the sounds in the control room abruptly ceased, plunging into complete silence.

Everyone was stunned. What good would it do to talk to Gui? Had the Green Vine City Investigation Bureau suddenly become so powerful?

Immediately afterwards, a woman's voice came from inside.

"Are you colleagues? You can't lie to me, I'm from the Xihong City Investigation Bureau."

As she spoke, a pair of long, snow-white legs stepped out of the driver's seat.

Zhao Hao's eyes widened immediately.

A beautiful woman wearing a tight T-shirt, denim shorts, a denim jacket tied around her waist, and pink cartoon headphones hanging around her fair neck appeared before the crowd.

His large, clear eyes, filled with both curiosity and wariness, scrutinized the crowd.

"Are you also spirit masters going to headquarters for training?" the woman asked.

Upon hearing the beautiful woman's question, Zhao Hao readily agreed, saying, "Yes, yes, are you one too, beautiful lady?"

The woman nodded: "I'm also a spirit master going to headquarters for training. I didn't expect to have such a bad start, encountering strange events on the way. But luckily, I have you colleagues with me. If I were all alone, I don't know what I would have done."

Zhao Hao patted his chest and assured her, "Don't worry, beautiful lady, with us, we can get you out of even an S-level ghost realm."

As if afraid the woman wouldn't believe him, he quickly added, "It's true, I'm not bragging. Did you hear about the S-class nightmare incident in Green Vine City a while ago? We were the ones who solved it."

Upon hearing this, the woman's beautiful eyes lit up: "Really? I saw this incident on the global forum for strange and mysterious things. It does say that the incident was perfectly resolved by Fang Xiu, an investigator from the Green Vine City Investigation Bureau. You wouldn't happen to be the legendary prophet Fang Xiu, would you?"

"Ahem..." Zhao Hao coughed lightly: "I'm not, but since Brother Xiu's name is on it, mine must be too."

"What's your name, young man?"

"Zhao Hao."

"Let me take a look."

As she spoke, the woman took out her phone and began logging into a global forum for the supernatural to search for related posts.

"Hey bro, your name doesn't seem to be on this."

"What!? Impossible!" Zhao Hao quickly checked the other person's phone, then his face fell, utterly devastated.

"It's okay, little brother. I believe you won't lie to me. It's probably because the investigation bureau doesn't want to reveal too much information, so they didn't write it down. I heard that if Fang Xiu, the prophet, hadn't revealed his abilities in the Nightmare incident, making the entire Green Vine City Spirit Master circle aware of them, his name probably wouldn't have appeared."

Seeing how understanding the woman was, Zhao Hao felt like he was in love again and no longer liked Li Feifei.

"Oh right, I almost forgot, I haven't introduced myself yet. After all, we'll be getting through this together."

The woman tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, a bright smile spreading across her face, and introduced herself to the crowd with great confidence:

"My name is Heijiji, but my friends call me Big Black. I'm a third-tier Spirit Master, and my abilities are ice and fire."
