The man let out a painful wail.
“Ahhhh!”
Only half of the man's body was left, crawling on the ground, and the rock wall seemed to be alive, pulling the man back along the unbroken blood vessels.
"Just bear with it, it won't hurt soon."
Gu Huaiwei injected him with a tube of inhibitor, and the blood vessels shrank rapidly, releasing the shackles on the man.
The man woke up from the severe pain. He first saw Gu Huaiwei's face clearly, and was dazed for a moment, unable to look away.
Then he realized that he had lost his legs and his body began to tremble uncontrollably.
"My... my legs! Aaaaaah!" the man screamed deafeningly. "Where... where is this?"
"This is a mine dungeon. You took the wrong path and were nearly swallowed by the rock wall. I had to pull you off the wall." Gu Huaiwei pointed at the others who had almost been swallowed by the rock wall. "If I had come any later, you would have been completely hopeless like those people."
"I remember now. I entered the dungeon, but got separated from my teammates..." The man lowered his head as his memory began to return. "I should have gone to the cafeteria to deliver food first, but I heard my teammates' voices and wanted to reunite with them first, and then... then..."
He couldn't go on.
Because after that, he was stuck to the rock wall in the mine and trapped there, with no one to help him, no one could help him.
He felt something penetrate his body from his back.
Being eroded bit by bit.
He was severely polluted and eventually lost his sanity.
"Who are you?" The man forced himself to calm down.
Gu Huaiwei chose a more convenient way of explanation: "Just think of me as a trial participant as well."
"You're not in our batch. If you're a new trial-taker, it means our batch has failed." The man couldn't accept the reality before him. "Failure means we'll never be able to leave and will end up becoming part of the dungeon... Ahhh... I don't want to die here!"
He crawled towards the cave entrance.
Gu Huaiwei stood in front of him and looked down at him.
Her black hair fell to her shoulders and her glasses were gleaming.
"Want me to help you get out of this wrong mine?"
"Think..." The man was confused again.
Gu Huaiwei smiled and held up five fingers: "How much life do you have left?"
