The head teacher was very secretive. She pursed her grinning lips and stopped talking no matter what Gu Huaiwei asked.
The principal seemed to be a very scary existence, making the class teacher speechless.
Gu Huaiwei felt that if she continued to twist, the head teacher's hand would be pulled off by her.
The hand cannot be broken.
Later, Gu Huaiwei will need a letter of recommendation written by her class teacher.
"Forget it if you don't want to tell me. I'll investigate on my own." Gu Huaiwei mercifully let the head teacher go. "When should I ask you for a letter of recommendation?"
The released head teacher immediately retreated to the door, eight feet away from Gu Huaiwei.
"Ka-ka-ka... I need to go check the dormitories first."
"Then I'll go with you." Gu Huaiwei didn't want to miss this good opportunity.
Although it was late, Gu Huaiwei was very career-oriented. Rather than sleeping in this dormitory filled with the smell of blood, she would rather follow her class teacher to get the required recommendation letter.
"Click, click, click..." The head teacher seemed to want to say something else.
Gu Huaiwei interrupted him ruthlessly: "Stop clicking, your objection is invalid."
Under the resentful gaze of the head teacher, Gu Huaiwei followed the head teacher to check the dormitories.
The corridor was long and narrow, with red lights flickering. The dormitory keys on the head teacher's waist collided with each other, making a crisp sound. The sound of her high heels stepping on the floor was like a butcher's knife chopping on a chopping board.
The head teacher used the key to open the doors one by one.
Instead of turning on the light, she walked to each bed, stretched her neck, and sniffed each bed with her nose.
Those students slept soundly in their beds, but Gu Huaiwei could hear the rapid breathing of some of them. They were not asleep at all.
Among them, when checking a dormitory, the head teacher showed that familiar excited expression again. Her eyes were red. She walked to bed number 3, and lay on the bed like a spider, supporting her body with her hands and feet, and then sniffed the classmate who was pretending to sleep from top to bottom.
The students sleeping inside must be very nervous.
Even the quilt was shaking.
"You're still awake... click, click, click... classmate, I saw you playing with your phone..."
Then, the head teacher opened the quilt a little.
The students inside were not playing with their cell phones.
It was her phone, and suddenly a new ad popped up, causing the phone screen to light up.
Is it possible to turn on the lights in the girls' dormitory when the dormitory is checked at night?
The light from the phone screen also counts as lighting.
Gu Huaiwei saw the head teacher suddenly pull back the student's quilt, and then directly pull out the student's heart with his hands. The student struggled violently but to no avail. Then, the head teacher held the bright red heart in both hands and stuffed it into his mouth, and blood gushed everywhere.
The fat dormitory manager appeared at the door at some point.
"Oh, it's dirty... click, click... points will be deducted. Points will be deducted for the entire dormitory."
The fat dormitory manager called the cleaner into the dormitory to clean up the student's body.
The cleaner was someone Gu Huaiwei knew—the muscular man Zhang Wenwu.
At this moment, he was wearing ill-fitting cleaner's clothes, a black mask, and holding a huge black garbage bag in his hand. Without saying a word, he covered the student's body with it and dragged it out.
During the process, Zhang Wenwu did not dare to look at Gu Huaiwei.
When they were leaving, they passed each other and Zhang Wenwu secretly slipped a note to Gu Huaiwei.
The note read: There is something fishy about the place where the body was disposed of.
After reading it, Gu Huaiwei tore the note into pieces and stuffed it into her pocket.
During the subsequent dormitory inspection, several more students violated the rules.
Students with minor offenses were only punished by having their ears pulled out or their fingers cut off, or by being sent to do some work elsewhere. However, those who directly violated the rules and did not remedy the situation in time would have their hearts removed.
The cleaner who comes is different every time.
The cleaners who come to the dormitory to clean up the bodies are all part-time students.
After the dormitory inspection, Gu Huaiwei followed the head teacher back to the office to get a letter of recommendation for a part-time job on campus.
The lights in the campus corridors were all dark.
There was no one in the classrooms and offices.
The head teacher returned to his workstation and opened the drawer. Inside the drawer were many students' severed fingers, which were the "contraband" that the head teacher had not collected.
While the head teacher was opening the recommendation letter, Gu Huaiwei glanced around the office.
In the upper right corner of her desk, there is a thick stack of sick leave notes.
Gu Huaiwei gave Lin She a look.
Lin Snake understood.
Gu Huaiwei walked to the side of the head teacher and used her body to block the sick leave note.
Then, in an inconspicuous dark corner, beneath Lin She's black clothes, a black, cold and slippery round tentacle rolled up the sick leave note and stuffed it into his pocket.
"Okay." The head teacher quickly wrote the recommendation letter and handed it to Gu Huaiwei.
"Thank you very much."
After receiving the letter of recommendation, Gu Huaiwei did not linger any longer.
Gu Huaiwei had just come out of the head teacher's office and was about to head to the infirmary with brisk steps. But just after taking a few steps, she heard a hoarse voice calling out, "Manager Gu, come here."
The voice was familiar and strange.
Like the sound of nails scraping across a blackboard.
Gu Huaiwei paused and looked towards the source of the sound.
It was the white-haired old man Zhang Guoqing. He had been assigned to Class 9 of the Applied Chemistry major together with Zhang Wenwu and Ou Doudou.
What's strange is that why would he appear alone near the nursing classroom in the middle of the night?
Zhang Guoqing's figure was shaking a little in the darkness. He stood beside the classroom window with a somewhat rotten wooden board, his eyes fixed on Gu Huaiwei.
