"It's me." Lin She's low voice came from the wind and sand.
Gu Huaiwei was stunned, then retracted the knife.
Lin She's hand tightly grasped her wrist and pulled her out through the gap torn by the black fog and sand.
"Are you okay?" He asked with concern, but there was not much warmth in his voice.
"Pah, pah, pah, your mouth is full of sand." Gu Huaiwei couldn't help but spit a few times. Her face was covered with dust, her glasses hung crookedly on her ears, her hair was messy and sticking up, and she looked dusty.
She dusted herself off and quickly calmed down: "I'm fine."
Now is not the time to worry about image.
His eyes were fixed on the strange black sandstorm, and the guests were still inside.
"Will there be radiation storms during the day?" Gu Huaiwei frowned, adjusted his glasses, and his eyes revealed alertness.
Lin She didn't answer. She turned around and said hurriedly, "I have to get the clothesline and pull those customers out of the black fog."
These are her achievements, and they cannot be blown away by the wind.
"No need." Lin She's black hair fell slightly, and he raised his hand. "Look, the wind has stopped."
"Hmm?" Gu Huaiwei looked in the direction of his gesture, and sure enough, the strange wind that was roaring just now miraculously subsided.
Gu Huaiwei looked at Lin She again.
Only then did she notice that the arm of Linshe's shirt was torn, obviously cut by a knife, but there was no trace of wound on his pale skin.
Was it her dagger that did it?
She couldn't hold back.
How could he remain unscathed after being stabbed?
Gu Huaiwei frowned. The wind and sand were so strong that she couldn't see clearly what was holding her wrist.
She thought it was a hand.
But Gu Huaiwei lowered her head and looked at her wrist, and found that there was not the mark of five fingers, but a circle of red marks.
"Do we need to take care of these people?" Lin She's dark green eyes looked straight ahead.
The wind and sand stopped, and Gu Huaiwei came to her senses. She looked around and found that although the customers were in a mess, fortunately no one was injured.
Some people were stuck headfirst in the dust, like a scallion.
Some people staggered to the ground, their limbs limp and uncoordinated.
Some people seemed to have fainted, lying on the ground with their arms and legs spread out.
"We can't let the customers die outside. Lin She, come over and lend a hand. We'll help the customers in." Gu Huaiwei said as she walked forward and dug the poor customers out of the sand.
"Okay." Lin She responded, then asked, "Do you want to charge them for the transportation?"
"What does the employee handbook say?"
“It’s not mentioned.”
"Then consider it a benefit." Gu Huaiwei shrugged, her tone relaxed, "People on the forum say every day that this is a scam, but which scam is so conscientious?
This is clearly a good hotel for the people. When these people wake up, you can give them a hint and ask them to send me a banner or something. I will hang it in the lobby for publicity."
"good."
They worked together to lift the person, causing quite a bit of noise.
Lu Ziyi heard the sound and walked out of Lu Hao's room leisurely.
But when she walked out of the room and saw the new decoration of the hotel, her heart sank suddenly.
The originally narrow and plain corridor was widened, with exquisite carved wall lamps hung on both sides, and the tile floor was changed to marble, giving it an upscale and elegant look.
She rubbed her eyes subconsciously, wondering if she had seen it wrong.
This place is completely different from the hotel she has been familiar with these days.
Lu Ziyi only felt her head buzzing.
Everything before my eyes seemed like a ridiculous joke.
His father gave them instructions and a large sum of money, asking them to book the hotel for a day at any cost.
She did not hesitate at the time and swore on Lu Hao's head that she would complete the task.
During these three days, she and her brother racked their brains and repeatedly planned every detail of their father's visit to the hotel, determined to make her father satisfied.
And now, just as the plan was finalized, the hotel has undergone a gorgeous transformation!
"Brother, come out quickly!" Lu Ziyi no longer cared about her elegant image, and her voice was so high that it almost broke.
"I'm here, sister." Lu Hao walked out, looked at the changes in front of him, touched his ears, suspected that he was hallucinating, and went back to the room and walked out again.
His expression turned ugly in an instant.
"Sister, when was this hotel renovated?"
"You ask me, who should I ask?" Lu Ziyi's face was grim. "Damn it! It's not just the renovations, there are even more rooms."
"Go check how many extra rooms there are!"
The two looked at each other and went their separate ways.
From the first floor to the top floor, he quickly checked every room.
The Lu siblings' moods also changed from initial shock, to confusion, and then to uncontrollable panic.
Originally there were only forty-eight rooms, but now it has expanded to nearly two hundred!
Lu Ziyi almost suffocated.
Her father only gave her a budget to book fifty rooms.
"This... is impossible!" Lu Hao felt a chill on his neck. "Who is behind this?"
"When was the hotel expanded? I've been here for the past few days and didn't notice any unusual movements?" Lu Ziyi bit her lips tightly, her face pale, and her hands and feet cold.
She knew that if they failed to successfully book the hotel this time, her father would be disappointed in them and they would lose the chance to compete for the heir to the Fifth District.
Thinking of this, Lu Ziyi's heart beat faster.
Who is so capable as to build a tall building out of flat ground?
The image of Gu Huaiwei living a peaceful life emerged in Lu Ziyi's mind.
Is that the female receptionist?
Who is she?
