Her face was pale and cold sweat seeped from her forehead, but her eyes, still glaring at him, had not given up.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." He said softly, "I'm protecting you in my own way."
The next moment, the power in his hands increased, and Gu Huaiwei lost consciousness due to lack of oxygen and darkness in front of her eyes.
"Give it back to me." Zhou Chuan Ning broke free from the restraints of the black snakes.
"No, she belongs to me as my reward."
The forest snake wrapped Gu Huaiwei in black mist and ran towards its own territory.
