Chapter 1: Infatuation
The dark brown curtains were not drawn tightly, and a glaring light shone on the two legs stacked on the white sheets.
Xia Cheng woke up early, feeling severe pain in her lower body. The first time was not as vivid as described on the Internet, leaving her already dry heart without a ripple.
Because the person she had sex with was the one her sister liked.
The man's arm was still on her waist, his head was close to her, pressing down her hair, his breathing was heavy, and he showed no sign of waking up.
She turned sideways to look at the man. His eyelashes were long and thin, his skin was fairer than that of an average boy, his nose was thin and straight, and his brows were slightly furrowed, as if he had encountered something in his sleep.
He leaned against her sideways, and Xia Cheng could feel the warmth from his body, so hot that it seemed to melt the arm that was pressed against her.
The sheets were muddy. Xia Cheng wanted to wash them, but she couldn't move because her hair was pressed down.
After lying there quietly for a while, the man's breathing suddenly stopped. He seemed to suddenly remember what he had experienced last night. The moment his light brown pupils opened, they trembled slightly, and his voice was a little hoarse, with an incredible tone:
"Why are you here?!"
Yu Jingyuan asked loudly, stepped back a long way, sat directly beside the bed, rolled away the quilt, leaving Xia Cheng uncovered, with all the red marks on her body exposed to the air.
Xia Cheng lowered her eyes, tears on her face: "You drank too much last night, I helped you to rest, and then you...you..."
"I'm sorry, but how...how is this possible! I can't possibly..."
"Why is it impossible... Do you mean I'm lying to you, or did I deliberately enter your room? This is my first time... Um... What should I do, wuwuwu, what should I do."
Appropriate crying and whimpering make the vague details difficult to pursue.
Yu Jingyuan rubbed his hair helplessly, a little annoyed at himself for getting drunk last night. The fragmented memories in his mind were so erotic, telling him exactly what he had done.
At least at that moment, he was completely captivated. The image of Xia Cheng's fair skin seemed to appear before his eyes, clinging to him, making him unable to control himself. It seemed like an explosive revenge, completely devoid of any rationality. Like a wild animal, he bit and gnawed at the woman who kept pleading.
Yu Jingyuan sighed, his temples swollen and painful. He wanted to apologize to Xia Cheng, but when he looked up and saw her fair body, naked, with the red marks all over it like blooming flowers, he immediately averted his gaze, lowered his head in embarrassment, closed his eyes, pushed the quilt to her, and turned his back.
"Sorry, I, my mind is very confused now. I'll go clean it up first. Don't worry, I will be responsible for you!"
Xia Cheng didn't look at him and just hummed in a depressed tone.
Yu Jingyuan picked up the clothes on the floor and hurried to the bathroom. The slight sound of the door opening was buried in the running water and his messy thoughts, so when he finally came out of the shower, the room was empty.

Xia Cheng quietly left the hotel wrapped in Yu Jingyuan's coat. After returning to the dormitory, she first took the birth control pills before washing and going to bed.
The cell phone on the bedside table kept vibrating. Xia Cheng didn't intend to pay attention to Yu Jingyuan, but after thinking about it, she answered the call.
The two were silent for a few seconds and then got straight to the point.
"Where are you now? I'm coming to find you."
Xia Cheng bit her lip, touched her arm, and rested her head on her knees:
"I, I want to be quiet."
"What we need more now is a review." Yu Jingyuan got in the car, his fingers gripping the steering wheel constantly twisting. "Don't be afraid. I won't do anything to you again. I will take responsibility."
"I'm not scared, I feel guilty." Xia Cheng's mouth, buried under his arms, curled up, without any sign of guilt.
"What are you feeling guilty about?" Yu Jingyuan didn't understand. He just thought Xia Cheng felt guilty towards him, so he couldn't help but slow down his tone: "I'll tell Uncle Xun."
Xia Cheng didn't want him to tell others what she had done right now.
She lowered her voice and spoke gently:
"I'm not feeling well right now... Can you wait until I feel better before we talk? Also, can you hold off on telling my parents for now? At least we should talk first before we tell them."
Yu Jingyuan then realized what he had done. He actually urged a confused girl to come downstairs to see him. How could Xia Cheng have the nerve to do that? This was probably the reason why she ran away.
He agreed readily, and the two of them didn't talk any more and hung up the phone in a hurry.
Xia Cheng lay back down again. Although she was exhausted and had no strength to lift a muscle, her legs were trembling, but she felt extremely refreshed inside.
Because her sister Xun Mo likes Yu Jingyuan.
Perhaps anyone would be surprised why Xia Cheng did this, but only Xia Cheng knew that jealousy had long devoured her sanity, and she had to fight for her remaining sense of security on her own.
*
The year Xia Cheng first entered college, he was the most old-fashioned person in the school. From the start of school in September, he wore wrinkled white short-sleeved shirts and black pants day after day. His pair of sneakers were so dirty that they couldn't be washed clean, and his underwear was loose.
Because of the minimum living allowance and school subsidies, and Xia Cheng earned enough living expenses during the summer vacation, there were no major problems in life. However, apart from a mobile phone, there were no other resources.
It was at this time that the police station called her. Xia Cheng's DNA was stored in the school's opening physical examination, which also revealed Xia Cheng's life experience.
It turns out that she still has relatives in this world.
She has parents who have been looking for her for more than ten years, a reliable brother, and a naughty sister.
This was Xia Cheng's thought before she met them. After they met, all her fantasies about family were shattered.
It's not that her parents are bad, but they are too fair.
Xia Cheng will always remember the day she stepped into the Xun family's gate. Her parents hugged her on both sides, and her mother's eyes even turned red.
Her sister Xun Mo walked ahead playfully, wearing a sleeveless white dress that highlighted her collarbone, her arms were slender and tender, and her back was thin. She stepped on the steps, her small leather shoes hitting the floor, and gave her a big hug, saying loudly:
"Welcome home, Princess!"
Her brother Xun Sheng stood quietly by the side, smiling amiably.
The servant stood at the door, wearing clothes more respectable than hers, bowed and said respectfully, "Welcome back, young lady."
Such an atmosphere almost made Xia Cheng's eyes well up with tears. She did cry, leaning in her mother's arms, her shoulders shrugged, like a duckweed that finally found its home, her face covered with snot and tears.
At this time, she heard Xun Mo say softly beside her:
“So dirty.”
It was a very soft sentence, which was not heard by the parents who were immersed in joy, but fell into the ears of the uneasy Xia Cheng.
She hugged her mother, resting her head on her mother's shoulder. When she looked up, Xun Mo was smiling at her, completely unaware that there was anything wrong with what she had just said.
It was not until Xun Sheng knocked on Xun Mo's forehead that Xun Mo shrugged and tilted her head indifferently.
This kind of thing happened frequently afterwards, and every time Xun Mo said one or two inexplicable words directed at her, it could be regarded as a complaint or simply a straightforward statement.
Everyone told Xia Cheng that Xun Mo was a simple person, but Xia Cheng hated this simplicity because it hurt her self-esteem which she carefully maintained.
When she came to this strange home, everything was new to her.
A bowl for eating can cost thousands of yuan, and you can easily buy a bag worth tens of thousands of yuan. It seems like the money is endless and can kill people.
During the summer vacation, she was still an ordinary girl who took risks for money. She had no family and no one to rely on, and came to the big city like duckweed.
The uneasiness in her heart did not disappear even after she returned to her original family, and she felt even more inferior because of Xun Mo's words.
Especially when she saw that Xun Mo was outstanding in everything, proficient in music, chess, calligraphy and painting, and had excellent academic performance, her inferiority complex gradually turned into jealousy. After deliberate comparison, Xia Cheng felt that she could not compare to Xun Mo in any way.
My brother is not close to his parents and is too fair, so he doesn't have many friends.
This family revolves around Xun Mo, and Xun Mo only cares about herself.
