Chapter 10: Ruby Love
Xia Cheng drank the pork rib soup in small sips and secretly glanced at the back of Xun Sheng's head.
She really felt that Xun Sheng was heat-resistant. Not only was he neat and clean all day long, he also wore a suit in summer.
Today I am wearing a light blue suit, which is neatly ironed. The style and material are obviously of high value.
"You seem to like observing me." Xun Sheng didn't stop typing on the keyboard, his eyes clearly fixed on the computer screen, but suddenly he said this.
Xia Cheng almost choked:

Xun Sheng finally finished the work at hand. He rubbed his swollen temples, closed his notebook, and wanted to turn off the TV and take Xia Cheng home. Her injuries were not serious enough to require hospitalization.
But when he glanced sideways, he saw Xia Cheng engrossed in watching TV, laughing with her hands covering her mouth because of the lamb in the TV. Perhaps she was worried that her laughter would disturb him, so she just curled her lips.
He looked at the TV again, and after patiently watching it for a while, he still felt it was a waste of time, so he simply stood up and said, "Let's go home."
"Please take me back to school. It's not even eleven o'clock yet, and I can still get into the dormitory."
"Which floor do you live on?"
"Fourth floor."
"How are you going to get up there without an elevator?"
Xia Cheng ignored this question. She just felt comfortable living in the dormitory.
"Jump on..."
"Are you going to keep jumping up there? Living in the dormitory will bother others. There will be people who can take care of you when you go home."
Xia Cheng thought about it and was about to nod when she heard Xun Sheng say, "Besides, if you live in school, Mom and Momo will be worried about you."

As soon as my butt touched the wheelchair, someone came from outside the ward.
He heard the sound before anyone arrived. Lin Minghe shouted "Xia Cheng" and opened the door. Seeing that the person was still in the room, he put his hands on his knees, hunched over and gasped:

Xun Sheng nodded:
"Why are you here?"
"I lost Xia Cheng's things at the mall today. I looked around and only found these two."
Approaching the wheelchair, Lin Minghe placed his handbag and gift bag on Xia Cheng's legs. He squatted down and looked at Xia Cheng, who was sitting in the wheelchair, with an apologetic look on his face.
"I'm sorry, I can't find your ruby bracelet. I only found this one that was packaged. I checked the surveillance, but there were so many people around, so it might have been picked up. I'll compensate you with a better one! I've already bought it, but it'll take a while. I'll send it to you as soon as it arrives!"
Xia Cheng saw Lin Minghe running towards her in a black T-shirt, his hair wet with sweat and his breath coming unsteadily. She felt a little moved.
"It's okay. I was planning to give it to someone. I can just buy a new one myself."

"I'll buy it myself."
"I send you!"
"I myself..."
"Okay." Xun Sheng spoke, interrupting the two people's pleasantries. He picked up the computer bag on the table and hung it on Xia Cheng's wheelchair.
"It's time to go home."
Xia Cheng continued as Xun Sheng said:
"It's getting dark, it's time to go home. Thank you for today, Lin Minghe. If you hadn't helped me find something, I might have lost my bag. So don't worry about a bracelet."
After saying this, Xia Cheng thought for a moment, stretched out her arm, rubbed Lin Minghe's lush hair twice, and patted his head like she was treating a big dog:
"Let's go. Bye."
"Brother, let's go." Xia Cheng said softly, so gently that Xun got goosebumps. The person in front of him was so different from when he was in the car. He looked intelligent, polite and decent, but when he was in the car, he always couldn't put on his clothes properly, couldn't sit steadily, and jumped around as if there were nails under his butt.
He pushed Xia Cheng and only remembered halfway that he had forgotten to bring the thermos. But it didn't matter because he wouldn't need it in the future.
After he walked out the door, he looked back and saw Lin Minghe still standing there motionless, forgetting even to say goodbye. Their eyes met, and Lin Minghe nodded belatedly.
"Aren't you going to take the thermos?" Xia Cheng asked. Seeing that Lin Minghe was gone, she secretly put the hand that had touched his head on her trousers beside her thigh to wipe it.
“Buy it again.”
"Okay, remember to buy the pink one next time."
Xun Sheng turned off the microphone again. He didn't think there would be a next time. As for what color Xia Cheng wanted, he didn't care. After asking Xia Cheng for her ID, he put the wheelchair aside and went to the hall to handle the formalities.
While Xun Sheng was checking in for discharge, Xia Cheng, leaning on a crutch, lied and said she was going to the bathroom. Lin Minghe came hurriedly over, her hair was hot and sweaty, she had some mysophobia.
After standing in the toilet for a few minutes, Xia Cheng came out and rubbed his palms vigorously with hand sanitizer several times. Then he wiped off the water droplets and sat back in the wheelchair.
Xun Sheng pushed the man to the parking lot. Seeing that he drove there by himself, Xia Cheng deliberately sat in the passenger seat. To see whether a man has a woman, you have to see if he has makeup tools in his car.
"Brother, don't you have any paper in this car?"
Using this excuse, she searched the house but didn't find a single hair.
"Right in front of you."

In the ward, Lin Minghe didn't react.
He stood up blankly, not knowing what to say. He touched his head, feeling a little shy, and his earlobes were so red that they looked like they could bleed.
He didn't understand why Xia Cheng suddenly touched his head. He just felt a strange sensation that went all the way to the soles of his feet, making him feel even hotter. His back was soaked, and he felt like he was in a world of ice and fire standing under the air conditioner.
Everyone had left for a while, but he was still inside, covering his pounding chest, his mind full of Xia Cheng's heroic figure when he saved people.
The word "Ah Da" really went to his heart.
He immediately picked up his phone and called his good brother:
"Yu Jingyuan, I finally know what it feels like to like someone!"
