Chapter 106: Lin Minghe is hospitalized
Because the wheelchair had no battery, Xia Cheng was pushed back to the ward by the security guard.
No one spoke. After playing the game for about three or four hours, she stretched herself and turned around to see Yu Jingyuan walking in a hurry.
"Lin Minghe seems to be in the hospital." Xia Cheng asked him. Yu Jingyuan sat next to her, staring at the game interface on the mobile phone screen. This interface looked very familiar, and he vaguely remembered that someone had played it before.
"How is that possible? He is probably training now." Yu Jingyuan denied.
"Then you call and ask, he doesn't answer my call."
"No need to call, we just sent a message, he's on the team."
There was indeed no need to fight. Lin Minghe had just undergone surgery for a recurrence of an old injury. He watched Lin Minghe enter the ward before rushing to Xia Cheng.
Lin Minghe was currently in the inpatient department, on the 14th floor, just like Xia Cheng. He hadn't allowed Yu Jingyuan to tell Xia Cheng, fearing she'd worry. Yu Jingyuan felt that Lin Minghe was clearly playing hard to get. If he really didn't want to be discovered, he could simply move to a different floor. After all, it was his hospital, so two rooms per person wouldn't be a problem.
However, thinking of Lin Minghe's injury, Yu Jingyuan lowered his eyes and felt a little sorry for him.
A second rupture of the rotator cuff tendon in his right shoulder will require a lengthy rehabilitation process, foreclosing his ability to compete again. Lin Minghe, a recent world champion with a bright future ahead of him, is now like a hawk with a broken wing, consumed by depression at being unable to escape the hazy valley.
Just now in the ward, the doctor recommended that he continue with conservative treatment. After the operation on his right shoulder and arm, there would be no problem with his normal life, but it would be very risky to participate in sports.
After hearing this, Lin Minghe drove them all out.
Yu Jingyuan then came to Xia Cheng's ward. When he heard Xia Cheng mention Lin Minghe, he concealed his thoughts and denied it.
But if you think about it, would Lin Minghe be happier if Xia Cheng went?
"How about sending a message to Lin Minghe to ask? I'm not sure where he is." He suggested.
Xia Cheng nodded and sent a message to Lin Minghe, but the other party did not reply.
Yu Jingyuan sighed, thought for a moment, and told him about Lin Minghe's injuries.
"Which ward is he in?" Xia Cheng asked.
"1428."
"I'm going now!"
"Wait a moment, let him be alone for a while, after all, he needs some time to recover."
Yu Jingyuan held Xia Cheng down, and Xia Cheng had to lie back and eat some porridge.
Later, late at night, Yu Jingyuan said goodbye to her, and there was only one caregiver left.
Xia Cheng looked at the 70-inch TV in front of him, which was showing Lin Minghe's past competitions. At the start of the competition, he rushed out like a sharp sword, leading the way all the way. His arms flapped like wings, creating layers of white waves. Although he was a little exhausted later, he was lucky to control his speed. After hitting the wall of the pool, the scene erupted in cheers. He pulled off his swimming cap, clenched his fists and cheered, and hugged his coach in front of the media.
He is number one.
It must be difficult for someone who once won first place to accept the current disparity! Although he always smiled like a little sun, will he be crying in his bed now?
Xia Cheng opened the curtain and said to the nurse:
"Sister, please help me to the wheelchair."
"Miss Xia, where are you going so late? I'll go with you."
"Please push me to 1428."

When they arrived at the door of 1428, Xia Cheng asked the nurse to go back.
Just as she was about to knock on the door, she felt the wheelchair spun with a tremendous force. After a 180-degree turn, Xia Cheng's back was to the door, and before her stood a handsome, young man. He had a very traditional appearance, with hair longer than the average boy's, almost reaching the bridge of his nose. Upon seeing Xia Cheng, he covered his face with one hand, his fingertips digging into the soft hair, and with a hint of helplessness, he pulled the hair back.
"Big sister?! Why are you here again?!"
"I'm here to look for Lin Minghe." Xia Cheng had no idea that the other party had already regarded her as a fanatical fan, and a friendly smile was on her face. "Is Lin Minghe in there?"
Chu Xiao had a bad look on his face. He put his hands on the handles of the wheelchair and pushed the person aside.
"Hurry up, hurry up, there is no Lin Minghe here."
"In the afternoon, at the rehabilitation center. Didn't you say he was in the hospital?"
"I also told you to contact him yourself and come to see him again. Have you contacted him?"
"I contacted him, but he ignored me, so..."
Chu Xiao straightened up, crossed his arms over his chest, and sneered.
"I don't think you have any contact information at all, so you come here to harass me? No matter how you found out, leave now!"
"Huh?" Xia Cheng found this ridiculous. "Call him out, he'll definitely recognize me. We're real friends! He has a black sports car, a cat and a dog, and two good brothers: Yu Jingyuan and Xun Sheng!"
"You're not an idol, yet you already have an illegitimate child?" Chu Xiao's jaw tightened as he walked around behind Xia Cheng and pushed her wheelchair. "Big sis, hurry up and leave! If you keep making such a fuss, you won't even be able to stay in this hospital. Don't cause trouble for your parents, and just get well."
"Don't push me!" Xia Cheng pressed the tire with both hands.
Chu Xiao couldn't use any strength. "Let go quickly, or you'll get hurt!"
"Lin Minghe! Lin Minghe!" If it wasn't a sudden incident, she really didn't want to yell here.
"Shut up, don't disturb him, he is very sad!" Chu Xiao tried to pick at Xia Cheng's fingers.
Xia Cheng opened her mouth to bite him.
Because the noise was so loud, the nurse on duty in the middle of the corridor rushed over to stop it.
"Sir and Madam, please don't make any noise here."
"Nurse, please pull this man away quickly, he is trying to push me!" Xia Cheng clenched his hands, veins bulging.
Chu Xiao took a breath.
"What's your security like? You let such a big fan disturb Lin Minghe. Aren't you afraid that he might get into an accident?!"
"A fan?" The nurse was puzzled. "But I saw Mr. Lin go to this lady's place a few days ago..."
"Get her away quickly!" Chu Xiao was angry.
"Lin Minghe! Lin Minghe! I'm Xia Cheng!" Xia Cheng yelled, refusing to let Chu Xiao push her away. If Chu Xiao didn't reply to her messages, would she be alone in the room and feel depressed? This man in front of her was so annoying!
When Chu Xiao heard the name, his hands loosened, his pupils widened slightly, and he looked at Xia Cheng in disbelief.
"What!? Are you Xia Cheng?"
"What are you arguing about?"
The door to room 1428 swung open, and Lin Minghe, half exposed through the crack, looked at the arguing people in front of him with a sour expression. He had been lying in bed, feeling emo, when a clamor broke out outside, and the slight sadness he had just been brewing was replaced by irritability.
I thought they would be done arguing soon, but who would have thought it would go on and on. If he didn't shed a few tears, how would he make any demands when his mother came?
His eyes were red as he looked at Chu Xiao impatiently. He lowered his gaze and when he saw the person sitting in the wheelchair, he suddenly opened the door.
"Chengcheng? Why are you here?!"
Xia Cheng turned around, slapped Chu Xiao's hand off the wheelchair, and turned the wheelchair around.
"I came to see you. I heard you..." She glanced at the protective gear on his right shoulder and didn't continue. Instead, she changed the subject. "I told you that Lin Minghe and I knew each other! You still didn't believe me!"
Only then did Chu Xiao realize that he had misunderstood.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier that you were Xia Cheng?"
"You didn't ask!"
"Then I am also trying to protect the fragile Xiaoming River!"
"Who's small? You're the one who's small!" Lin Minghe retorted, pushing Xia Cheng's wheelchair. Men couldn't stand hearing this the most, so he moved away.
"Come in, everyone."
