Chapter 61: Sending Drunk Xun Sheng Home

Chapter 61: Sending Drunk Xun Sheng Home

He Qing's normal working time is five o'clock in the afternoon. Xia Cheng had dinner in the studio. It was already eight o'clock in the evening, but He Qing had no intention of going home.

He Qing had already prepared a collaboration with Lulu, but after getting Xia Cheng's size, she had to make further changes. Adding Chen Kelin's size, her studio had to continue working overtime.

Xia Cheng felt warm in her heart, and tactfully ran to buy some snacks and fruits for the studio members who were working overtime before leaving.

When she got home, Xun Youdong was already there.

Xun Youdong was not happy that Xia Cheng was going to shoot a commercial. He thought that it was not worth it for his daughter to be in the spotlight. But when he thought of He Qing's happy look, he didn't say anything in the end. He just said a few words: "Keep your center of gravity in the right place." Then he let Xia Cheng go upstairs.

The father and daughter haven't spoken to each other since the last argument between Xia Cheng and Xun Mo.

After Xia Cheng finished washing up, she started messaging Lin Minghe. Ever since Xia Cheng agreed to help him look after his pets, he often sent cute pet photos, and sometimes he would subtly show off a little muscle.

She clicked on the most recent photo, in which the tabby cat was lying on Lin Minghe's belly, pushing his clothes down, revealing a bit of his masculine curves.

Since someone was trying to please her, Xia Cheng was happy to chat with him. Lin Minghe's personality could be said to be the type where if you slap him in the face, he would ask you aggrievedly if your hand hurts.

She almost fell asleep while playing with her phone, so she just turned on the desk lamp and kept yawning.

The phone screen had automatically gone off. Xia Cheng's consciousness was briefly blank, and then she suddenly woke up. The phone fell to the floor. She picked it up in a daze and saw that it was a call from Wei Paijin.

"Hello?" She said in a hoarse voice, slightly displeased.

"Miss Xia, Mr. Xun has drunk too much. Could you please come over?"

"ha?"

It was half an hour later when Xia Cheng arrived at the place Wei Paijin mentioned. She hurriedly put on a skirt and even forgot to change her slippers.

Xun Sheng was in the box with his eyes closed. Xia Cheng looked at him with amusement as he looked uncomfortable. She took a picture of his embarrassing look and pretended to look sad and worried when she got closer.

"What's wrong, brother?"

"Drank too much at a social gathering." Wei Paijin held a cold bottle of honey water in his hand, but every time he offered it to Xun Sheng, he would be pushed away. He had initially assumed he was drunk and throwing a tantrum, but when he heard him muttering Xia Cheng's name, he tried to call her over. Unexpectedly, even after Xia Cheng arrived, Xun Sheng still looked lifeless, not even opening his eyes to look at them.

"Xiao Xun gets very angry when he's drunk. I had no choice but to ask you to come. I can't just watch him lie here all night."

"It's okay, I understand." Xia Cheng pushed Xun Sheng's arm.

"Brother, go home."

Xun Sheng still rested with his eyes closed.

Xia Cheng and Wei Paijin kept shouting at him, but he didn't open his eyes.

Helplessly, Xia Cheng said, "Carry him to the car and send him home directly. I'll find someone to move him when I get home."

It's not a big deal for two people to waste time here.

Wei Paijin immediately wanted to carry the person on his back.

Xun Sheng was also restless and pointed at Xia Cheng and said, "I want you to carry me on your back."

"Me?" Xia Cheng rolled up his sleeves, showing off his arm muscles, and patted Wei Paijin's arm.

"Do you want to take me to the hospital? My back will break if I carry you!"

Wei Paijin nodded and then shook his head.

"Boss Xun, let me carry you."

Xun Sheng staggered to his feet, then... opened the door and left.

Xia Cheng and Wei Paijin looked at each other, then hurriedly followed him. When they opened the door, they saw that Xun Sheng had not gone far at all. He had somehow fallen to the ground and was nailed to the ground like a cricket, unable to move.

While Wei Paijin wasn't paying attention, Xia Cheng secretly kicked Xun Sheng a few times, cursed him inwardly, and then pretended to be pitiful before helping him onto Wei Paijin's back.

Wei Paijin put Xun Sheng in the back seat of the car.

Xia Cheng also sat in the back seat. Xun Sheng nodded his head and tilted to the left, as if he was going to fall on Xia Cheng's shoulder. She saw it from the side and quickly twisted her waist to cunningly avoid it. She stretched out a finger and pushed Xun Sheng to the right. She muttered a few words silently, and when she saw his head hit the car window, she clapped her hands happily.

Wei Paijin, who saw everything from the rearview mirror, remained silent.

Maybe this is how siblings get along. He doesn't understand because he has no siblings.

Xun Sheng leaned all the way onto Xia Cheng's shoulders.

Xia Cheng pushed him all the way and refused to let anyone lean on her shoulders.

The car slowly stopped in front of the Xun family's gate, and Wei Paijin was about to help Xun Sheng down.

Xun Sheng rubbed his aching head and opened his eyes. He said more clearly, "Return to Xiya First Rank."

This scared Xia Cheng.

She turned her head to look at Xun Sheng. He grunted again and his head fell on her shoulder like a ball.

Xia Cheng was afraid that Xun Sheng would wake up, so she didn't dare to push him away this time. She just asked:

"Brother Jin, where is Xiya Yipin?"

"Mr. Xun's home, he often stays there."

Xun Sheng’s home?

Xia Cheng rolled her eyes. She had never been there before!

He immediately invited Wei Paijin to get in the car.

"Then Brother Jin, please drive there."

Wei Paijin agreed and sat back in the driver's seat. The black car sped away from the Xun family's gate.

Xia Cheng looked to the right at Xun Sheng. The usually stern man had surprisingly soft features even when he was asleep. His neat hair was scattered messily on his forehead, and his deep and shallow breathing hit the side of Xia Cheng's neck.

Her scalp almost tingled.

Another twenty minutes passed before we arrived at Xiya Yipin.

Wei Paijin and Xia Cheng, one on each side, helped Xun Sheng into the house and threw him onto the bed.

Xia Cheng smiled and took a bottle of water from Xun Sheng's refrigerator for Wei Paijin. It was already past eleven o'clock in the evening, so she said, "Brother Jin, you go back first. I'll call the driver to pick you up later."

Wei Paijin said a few polite words, took a worried look, and finally left.

Xun Sheng was already lying on the bed. His clothes and shoes were taken off by Wei Paijin. In the middle of summer, Xia Cheng looked at the person on the bed with disgust, filled the bathtub with warm water, and pushed Xun Sheng's arm.

"Hey, go take a shower."

He thought Xun Sheng would continue to sleep.

Unexpectedly, he turned over and got up.

He walked towards the bathroom, taking off his clothes as he walked, and finally walked towards the bathroom with only his underwear left.

Xia Cheng curled the corners of her mouth.

"The butt is pretty big."

Xun Sheng seemed to have heard it, and slammed the door shut.

Ten minutes later, Xun Sheng came out in a bathrobe, his face very red, as if he had drunk some wine in the bathroom again. He was covered in water vapor and walked all the way to the bed wet. Xia Cheng pulled him up to brush his teeth again.

"I have." He frowned, then suddenly opened his clear eyes and looked straight at Xia Cheng. "I'm not drunk, I just have a headache."

Xia Cheng retracted her fingers guiltily.

"Then I...will be leaving first."

Someone grabbed my arm violently.

Xia Cheng looked back and saw that it was Xun Sheng who stretched out his hand from under the quilt. His big, bony hand grabbed her arm tightly and shook it almost in a rogue manner.

"Who are you?"

"Your ancestors."

"Tell me a story."

"Get out of here."

"Tell me a story."

"Tsk, beg me."

Xun Sheng pursed his lips, his eyes drooped and filled with moisture.

"Please, Ancestor."

"OK, just for this sentence, I'll tell you."
