Chapter 82: You’re so biased

Chapter 82: You’re so biased

Xia Cheng twisted sideways and Xun Mo failed to pull anyone. He Qing was shocked and stepped forward to separate them.

He Qing pulled Xia Cheng and told her not to fight back. Xia Cheng was slapped twice for no reason and felt dizzy.

Yu Jingyuan was at a loss when he saw the three women entangled with each other. How did they start fighting?

With Xun Mo's personality, it's really hard to talk to her properly.

There was no other way, Yu Jingyuan could only take the blame. He stood in front of Xun Mo like a shield. Xun Mo saw his face and was hesitant to take action. After a while, she grabbed his shirt and buried her head in his chest and started crying.

Yu Jingyuan was still wearing the clothes that had been dried at Xia Cheng's house last night. This was not the scent of detergent that Xun Mo was familiar with. She trembled her lips and thought maliciously, if Xia Cheng disappeared, would Yu Jingyuan fall in love with her again?

“That’s enough!”

Xun Youdong finally spoke. He stood up, and the majestic aura around him made the few people dare not move.

"In short, Jingyuan, I can't control you. But Xia Cheng! You absolutely cannot be with Yu Jingyuan!"

"Dad!" Xia Cheng cried out in complaint, "I am your biological daughter! Xun Mo is a bastard!"

Xun Youdong's eyes turned fierce, and he raised his hand and slapped him.

"Who allowed you to say that?"

Xia Cheng's head tilted to the side, and the left side of her face became numb due to the heavy and loud blow. She felt her cheek swelling, and all her expectations and dignity were brought back to reality.

Tears slid down and fell on the hot and swollen skin, bringing only pain. Xia Cheng glared at Xun Youdong fiercely, and there was a bone-chilling disappointment in her voice.

"I hate you, I hate you all, you are so biased. Since you already have two children at home, why did you bring me back? Why..."

Xun Youdong's palms stung, and he gradually calmed down. However, as a father, he had been in a high position for a long time and was used to it. Even if he found himself impulsive, he would only say one sentence:

"Listen to your father."

"Is Xun Mo very obedient?" She roared, spitting out the resentment that had accumulated over the past two years.

"It was clearly her who tampered with my crutch, but you didn't believe me. Xun Mo is the only one who thinks of anything good. She's the one who takes all the limelight. I can't even get close to Yu Jingyuan. Am I your biological child? She was clearly adopted. Am I wrong? She's a bastard, a pheasant!"

He Qing also began to cry. She knew that Xun Youdong was wrong, but when she heard what Xia Cheng said, her heart was in pain and she couldn't breathe. She really wanted the sisters to get along well.

After Xia Cheng said these words, she felt that everything around her was unfamiliar. Her vision blurred, and she rushed out of the house, running in her slippers.

Xun Mo was startled. She looked up and saw Yu Jingyuan staring at her with a complicated expression.

The matter got what she wanted and she made a big deal out of it, but she wasn't very happy.

"Xia Cheng is in the hospital because of you?" he asked.

Xun Mo swallowed and was about to deny it when she heard Yu Jingyuan say, "Momo, I always thought you were just a girl with a bit of a temper, but still kind."

Xun Mo was silent.

She loosened her fingers that were pulling on Yu Jingyuan's collar.

Now, whether she opened her mouth or not, Yu Jingyuan could guess the result.

"I'm leaving first." He said to everyone in the living room with his eyes lowered.

Xun Mo grabbed the hem of his clothes and pulled them until they were wrinkled.

"Brother Jingyuan, I really like you."

Yu Jingyuan pried her fingers apart little by little and ran in the direction Xia Cheng left.

Xun Mo burst into tears.

Outside the window, Xiao Lai's eyes flashed.

Xia Cheng went out, ran to the street, and hailed a taxi. She was extremely sad and wanted to hide alone, go home, hide in bed, and have a good cry.

After getting in the car, she wiped her nose and tears with a tissue, then she remembered that she had not told the driver the address, and the driver just drove slowly.

"Little girl, did you have a quarrel with your family?"

Xia Cheng didn't answer, but just said: "Master, go to Xiya Yipin."

The driver looked at her in the rearview mirror, said nothing, and accelerated silently.

The smell in the car was very bad. Xia Cheng opened the window to let the rust smell go away. It was so hot that she didn't turn on the air conditioner. She was too heartbroken to care at the moment. She could only let the wind dry her tears. After her mood calmed down for a while, she stared at the receding scenery outside without moving.

Her phone vibrated a few times, and she lowered her head to open it. It was Yu Jingyuan calling.

The moment Xia Cheng answered the phone, she missed the black car speeding outside the window.

"Where are you?" Yu Jingyuan asked anxiously, "I'm coming to find you now!"

"I want to be alone for a while." She said bitterly. "Let me calm down."

There was silence on the other end for a long time.

Yu Jingyuan didn't want Xia Cheng to face the pain tonight alone.

He agreed verbally, but got into the car and drove to the drugstore.

Even if I can't comfort her heart, I should at least heal the wounds caused by Xun Youdong.

After Xia Cheng hung up the phone, she sniffed. The car had been driving for twenty minutes and still hadn't arrived. She looked at the scene outside and asked cautiously:

"Master, how long will it take?"

"Little girl, it's late at night and I can't make any money pulling a cart. Can I take a smaller route?"

Small roads are usually very roundabout and the metered fare is high, so some drivers do this to make money.

Xia Cheng was feeling depressed and just said, "Take the main road and I'll give you an extra twenty yuan."

The driver uttered an "ah" with a calm expression and gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"I'm turning on the air conditioning now."

He rolled up the car window, which was covered with black film. Xia Cheng looked down at her phone. He Qing had called her many times, and her heart skipped a beat as she turned off the phone.

"Little girl, don't be too sad. Your family is all doing this for your own good."

The driver handed over a tissue. Xia Cheng took it, blew his nose, and put the garbage in his trouser pocket.

The paper smelled very good, but she didn't like it very much. After smelling it a few times, she stopped using it and leaned back in her chair in a daze.

Why hasn’t it arrived yet?

She felt strange and wanted to roll down the window to see which road was outside.

But the window was locked, and when I tried to open the door, it was also locked.

Late at night, a man took a taxi. The driver was a man. There was a smell of rust. The door was locked. It was a small road. Xia Cheng became alert.

She immediately turned on her cell phone and called the police without thinking. Even if it was just a misunderstanding, it was better than threatening her life because of hesitation.

The police officer's voice came from the other end of the phone.

Xia Cheng lowered her head and huddled behind the driver's seat, where the driver couldn't see her, before she spoke.

"Brother, I'm going back to Xiya tonight. Please come downstairs to pick me up. The taxi can't get in."

The police officer who received the call accepted the role of brother very experiencedly.

"What color is the taxi? Do you know the license plate number? Which road are you on now?"

"Yellow, I don't know anything else."

"Where did you start from?"

"It should only take me half an hour at most to get from the Tunan Road villa area to Xiya. There are fewer cars at night, so it should be quick. The driver said we had to take a detour, but we should be there soon." Xia Cheng tried her best to pretend to be chatting.

"Are there any distinctive landmarks nearby, like shops, trees, houses?"

"There are so many trees planted here, row after row. You can't even see anything around. It's really beautiful. Brother, I'll take you to see it later."

The police officer who received the call wrote down each message and passed it on to his colleagues at the same time.

"What was the driver wearing? What did he look like?"

"Black..." Xia Cheng lowered her voice. "I can't see anything else."

The car's road steepened twice as it ran over the stones, and the driver looked at the rearview mirror gloomily.

"Little girl, who are you talking to on the phone?"
