Uncle Tai San was leading the villagers to help clean up the firewood piles and other debris in front and behind the yard, and they were working hard.
Seeing his old brother coming back, he rushed forward to greet him, "Are you back?"
The old man nodded and waved to the villagers, "Thank you for your hard work!"
The villagers also waved their hands in response, laughing and joking, "Sixth Uncle, we don't have to work hard! As long as we have good wine and good meat, we have plenty of energy!"
Master Tai San immediately glared at him and scolded him with a smile, "You are a bunch of greedy ghosts, you only know how to eat! Hurry up and get to work, when has your Sixth Uncle ever treated you unfairly?"
After saying that, he pulled his old brother into the yard.
Zhuzhu ran out of the house, hugged her grandfather's thigh, and cried in a baby voice, "Grandpa, where have you been? You didn't take Zhuzhu with you! Zhuzhu misses you so much!"
The old man was full of worries, but they disappeared immediately after being comforted by his little granddaughter.
He squatted down, picked up his granddaughter, poked her lightly with his beard, and then took the oil-paper bag pinned on his waist.
There are two candied haws in the oil paper package. The big red haws are wrapped in sugar skin and the color is slightly browned. People who see it feel sweet in their hearts!
"Zhuzhu, grandpa bought you some candied haws. Go find your second brother and eat them together. Grandpa has some important business to discuss with Third Grandpa, so I'll play with you later!"
The fat girl immediately cheered and pouted, "Grandpa is the best, Zhuzhu loves Grandpa the most!"
Yang Lihua and Liu Dongniang came out of the kitchen and laughed when they saw this.
Yang Lihua stepped forward and took her daughter. "Grandpa is tired. Go play first and come back to see me later."
"Okay!" Zhuzhu held two candied haws and walked with her chubby little legs to find her brother.
Tai Yongning has difficulty walking and has the lowest presence at home, but he has never been ignored.
At least the old man loves his grandson in his heart.
Just like this candied haws, if there is no one else, there must be one for him.
Third Master Tai had been worried about this all morning, and as soon as he sat down, he asked, "Sixth Brother, have you found out anything about the Zheng family? There must be reasons why outsiders treat us badly, but such sincere kindness makes me feel uneasy!"
