While feeding him, he asked, "Master, do you think we can sleep together tonight?"
Haotian almost choked for a moment, swallowed what was in his mouth, and coughed lightly.
"Perhaps, but if there are any other special circumstances, I will let you know."
Diefang smiled and nodded, and then began the feeding process.
Perhaps sitting to the side made Diefang uncomfortable, so she unconsciously leaned closer to Haotian. She inhaled the delicate fragrance, but still felt somewhat unsatisfied.
When Haotian finished his bite, Diefang did not feed him another bite.
Diefang looked at Haotian pitifully: "Master, this disciple is feeling a little unwell. Could you... let this disciple sit on your lap to show filial piety?"
As she spoke, she scooted closer to Haotian.
Haotian's expression hardened. He suddenly wanted to say that it was better not to eat, but the thought that he might actually get hungry prevented him from saying it.
She wanted to offer to eat it herself, but then she saw Diefang's pitiful eyes...
Indeed, she got up early to cook and feed me, so she must be quite tired. It's just sitting on my lap; she's done so much for me, so I'll let her sit.
After convincing himself, Haotian slowly nodded.
Diefang's eyes lit up, and the pitiful look she had just shown vanished instantly. Holding her bowl and chopsticks, she quickly sat sideways on her lap.
A satisfied and comfortable smile began to appear on his face.
Then the feeding process began.
Haotian: I always feel like when I'm sitting on someone's lap, I don't know where to put my hands. It feels a bit strange.
Diefang probably noticed her unusual behavior, so she put the food in her arms for a moment, then took her hand and placed it on her waist.
With a blush, she said, "Master, please hold me tighter, I'm afraid I'll spill the food on you."
