Chapter 73 Punishment

In an instant, everyone's eyes were focused on him.

Feng Titang also wanted to stop something, but it was too late.

The madman looked at the figure in the sky and laughed, ignoring all the kneeling people around him.

He has gone so insane that he is no longer able to reason.

"Aren't these those two brats? What, are they now begging to serve me?"

The others immediately suppressed him to the ground. He was the son of the previous sect leader, whose cultivation was destroyed by Haotian, and he went mad afterward.

Because his guards also came out, there was no one to watch over him while he was acting crazy, which allowed him to escape.

Although he was suppressed on the spot by the other elders, he still managed to utter his foul language.

Haotian had no impression of this good-for-nothing, but he was impressed by Diefang and Wenxin.

Back then, he was arrogant because of his talent, and coupled with his status as the sect leader's son, the two of them suffered a lot from his targeting.

However, at that time, they had no way to fight against him.

Now, those who once protected him are now suppressing him to the ground. It's both laughable and pathetic.

"Duan Song, how dare you! Do you really intend to destroy the sect's legacy, you bastard!"

The Grand Elder, with his dashing demeanor, roared at the insane man.

He now wishes he could have just chopped him into a human stick back then!

Out of consideration for the sect leader's past relationship, even though his son was insane, they decided to raise him; a sect could afford to support a mad mortal.

If he knew that Duan Song would go crazy and spout nonsense at such a critical moment, he would have definitely turned him into a human stick!

Duan Song actually raised his head, but ignored the Grand Elder and everyone else; his gaze was fixed on Haotian and his group.

He could barely make out Haotian and his group.

He could see Haotian's appearance clearly.

In Duan Song's eyes, besides Diefang and Wenxin whom he knew, there was also an incredibly cute little girl. What caught his eye even more was a white-haired woman whose beauty made him forget the pain in his body for a moment.

In his eyes, no one could be considered a beauty compared to Haotian.

He could see Haotian's appearance clearly.

Duan Song, lost in delusion, shouted, "Is this white-haired man Wenxin's master? For the sake of your disciple, I can take you as my principal wife. I promise..."

Before Duan Song could finish speaking, Feng Titang ripped his chin off.

His tongue was hanging out and bleeding.

But he seemed oblivious to the pain, and just kept laughing at Haotian.

For some reason, Diefang and the other two felt irritable and even angry.

It felt as if something I cherished most had been insulted.

The three men's desire to kill Duan Song grew stronger and stronger.

Originally, Diefang and Wenxin still felt a little pity for the sect they had once lived in...

However, Duan Song's fire burned away the last vestiges of pity in their hearts.

As Feng Titang watched Diefang and the other woman grow increasingly serious, his anxiety grew.

It was infuriating! It seemed as if his last glimmer of hope had been extinguished by the insane, useless son of the sect leader!

Haotian's killing intent was resolute.

However, Duan Song lay on the ground, and because he had no chin, it was impossible to tell whether he was in pain or laughing.

Most of the elders shared the same mentality as Feng Titang; when they looked at Duan Song, they looked at him as if he were already dead.

Feng Titang then apologized, saying, "Immortal, please calm your anger. This boy has no connection with my Hanshan Sect. He is no longer an inner disciple of the Hanshan Sect!"

However, miracles don't happen, and neither does begging for mercy.

Haotian spoke, his voice as clear and melodious as pearls falling on a jade plate.

"Duan Song, is that it? What a fine name. He ruined everything he had."

Although the voice was clear and pleasant, it sounded chillingly cold to Feng Titang and the elders.

They all sensed a strong killing intent in those words.

A suffocating murderous intent.

A murderous intent that instills despair.

They never imagined they would one day face such murderous intent.

Now, everything is settled.

Haotian glanced at it and then spoke.

"To steal a voice."

Although the sound wasn't very loud, it sounded like a great bell to everyone, as if it were the will of Heaven.

As soon as the words were spoken, Duan Song's throat, which was lying on the ground, began to rot.

He couldn't utter a single word.

They took away his voice. They took away his freedom of speech.

His throat was rotting, and a foul stench instantly filled the air—the smell of decaying flesh.

Duan Song, who was lying on the ground, was still conscious; he was not quite dead yet.

He was holding his neck with one hand and his stomach with the other.

It's obvious that he's in excruciating pain in those two areas.

But he just couldn't make a sound, no matter how hard he called out.

This is the principle of "words become law." It is the "sound-seizing" of the Heavenly Emperor.

Haotian then spoke slowly and deliberately.

"Dazzling!"

His words came out immediately.

Duan Song's eyeballs suddenly disappeared into thin air, leaving behind flat eyelids, and blood kept flowing from his eye sockets.

Duan Song instantly felt a new sting.

It was through his eyes; his vision suddenly went completely black, and his eyes felt like they were on fire.

He reached out and touched his eyes, and found two empty spaces.

Haotian himself didn't know when he had become so bloodthirsty and numb.

Since he came from Earth, his growth and experiences have transformed him from a peace-loving person into a ruthless immortal.
