"Mr. Ye, come with me."
Liu Jinxiang grabbed Ye Feng's hand and walked towards the crowded area.
Ye Feng wanted to pull his hand away, but that would seem like making a mountain out of a molehill, and the streets were crowded with people; they might get separated if they didn't hold hands.
Ye Feng did not resist and let Liu Jinxiang pull him forward.
Perhaps because of the festival, there were many stalls selling various snacks and treats in the streets and alleys, and the sounds of hawking and selling could be heard everywhere.
The bustling, vibrant atmosphere of the city made the night breeze feel incredibly fresh.
"Mr. Ye, please try this. It's a unique snack from our Fengchi City called Fenglongbao." Liu Jinxiang bought a bag of Fenglongbao and said with a smile as she approached Ye Feng.
Without any hesitation, Ye Feng took two and started to taste them.
It feels very similar to xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and the taste is not much different, but the fenglongbao is obviously larger and much more satisfying to eat.
Ye Feng and Liu Jinxiang enjoyed snacks together and admired the various beautiful sights at the Lantern Festival.
Before long, lanterns rose into the air and floated in the night sky.
Looking up from the ground, you can see lanterns everywhere in the night sky, each a different color.
Those lanterns looked like bright stars, and were quite beautiful.
This bustling and beautiful scenery, though lacking the modern atmosphere of the outside world, is equally breathtaking and full of a unique charm.
Just then, Ye Feng suddenly sensed a subtle presence.
This strange aura aroused a bit of curiosity in the night breeze.
“Follow me,” Night Wind said.
Liu Jinxiang looked confused, but she still obediently followed Ye Feng step by step.
The night wind followed the strange feeling and soon arrived at an antique-style shop.
The shop's main hall is filled with various wooden shelves, on which are displayed a series of antique-looking objects.
"Mr. Ye, what brings you to the antique shop? Are you interested in antiques?" Liu Jinxiang asked curiously, also looking forward to it.
Since the Gold Chamber of Commerce has a lot of antiques, if Ye Feng is interested in antiques, then she can cater to her tastes.
Night Breeze shook his head and said, "No, I have no interest in antiques."
"Then why did you come here..."
Before Liu Jinxiang could finish speaking, she saw Ye Feng take a step and walk towards a row of shelves.
Liu Jinxiang quickly followed, looking at Ye Feng with curiosity.
The night breeze stopped in the middle of the row of wooden shelves, its gaze falling on a dark, uneven stone.
The stone is bowl-shaped, looking like an irregularly shaped large bowl.
But apart from that, there's nothing particularly special about it.
Night Breeze reached out and took the dark, unremarkable piece of meat from the shelf, examining it closely in his hand.
A moment later, a look of surprise appeared on Ye Feng's face.
"I never expected there would be one here..."
Night Wind muttered to himself, but before he could finish, a hearty laugh came from upstairs.
Ye Feng and Liu Jinxiang turned their heads together and saw a middle-aged man in a blue robe coming down from upstairs.
Upon seeing this person, Liu Jinxiang said, "Boss Lü, what are you doing here?"
"Because I'm the owner of this shop," Mr. Lü said with a smile.
"No wonder!" Liu Jinxiang suddenly realized.
Then Liu Jinxiang looked at Ye Feng and introduced him with a smile: "Mr. Ye, this Mr. Lü's name is Lü Mingquan. I met him at a banquet last year."
Liu Jinxiang then said to Lü Mingquan, "Mr. Lü, this is Mr. Ye Fengye, a martial arts master, and also a distinguished guest of our Jinxiang Chamber of Commerce."
Lu Mingquan immediately walked over, cupped his hands and smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Ye. Please take good care of me."
Without wasting words, Ye Feng asked directly, "Mr. Lü, where did you get this stone?"
"Is there something special about this stone? Mr. Ye, do you know what it is?" Lu Mingquan asked curiously.
Ye Feng smiled without saying a word, simply watching Lü Mingquan quietly.
Liu Jinxiang smiled and said, "Mr. Ye asked you a question. Boss Lü, you have to introduce the products in your shop to your customers, otherwise who would be willing to spend money to buy them?"
Lu Mingquan nodded and said, "Yes, yes, I almost forgot that President Jinxiang and Mr. Ye are here to buy something... I obtained this stone by chance during a trip five years ago."
"At that time, I was traveling with several other people in a carriage, crossing the wasteland of Linhu City. The carriage broke down, and the horses pulling it all rolled down the hills and died. We also encountered a particularly severe sandstorm. My friends and I got separated during the sandstorm, and I had no choice but to cross the wasteland alone after the sandstorm ended."
"I walked for two days and two nights, and I was hungry and thirsty. As you both know, a person can go without food for a few days without much of a problem, but going without water for a few days is really deadly."
"I thought I was going to die, but I never expected to trip over this stone."
"At first I thought this rock was just a random pile of rocks, but I never expected that after I sat there to rest for a while, a bowl of clear water would magically appear inside the rock!"
"I was overjoyed at the time, and I truly felt that Heaven had eyes and that the gods had appeared to help me."
"After I drank all the water from this bowl-shaped stone, I not only stopped being thirsty, but I also felt full of energy! But do you know what the most amazing thing is?"
Lü Mingquan chuckled and kept everyone in suspense, not continuing the conversation.
Liu Jinxiang then urged impatiently, "Boss Lü, hurry up and tell us! What are you keeping us in suspense for? Honestly!"
Lu Mingquan then continued, "The most amazing thing is that even though I drank all the water from this bowl-shaped stone, new water would appear again soon afterward!"
"So I relied on the clear water that gushed out from this magical stone, and walked for ten days and ten nights until I finally crossed the wasteland and arrived at the nearest lakeside city."
“After I came back, I told my relatives and friends about it, but they all thought I was hallucinating and none of them believed me. Moreover, after leaving that wasteland, the stone seemed to lose its magic and no longer produced that sweet, clear water.”
"This is incredibly disappointing. I think perhaps this stone contained spiritual energy, but I used it all up, which is why it lost its mystique."
"I asked many people to appraise this stone, but no one could see that it was anything special. After several attempts, I had to give up. I put this stone here to see if there was anyone with a keen eye and extensive knowledge who could tell what this stone was all about."
