Super Fertilizer

Super Fertilizer

Wu Feng, with his hands in his pockets, said, "I didn't expect you guys to be in such a hurry?"

Qian Fei pointed the knife at him and demanded, "Where are Cen Ting, Chi Jiang, and Feng Yang?!"

Wu Feng found it laughable, crossed his arms, and provocatively said, "You've long since turned into a puddle of mud, becoming fertilizer for the young master."

"You're asking for death!" Qian Fei's face flushed red, and his tired body was instantly filled with strength.

Just as she raised her machete, Wu Feng rushed over like a gust of wind, grabbing Qian Fei and Qin Ming by the neck with both hands. He tilted his head and said to the woman behind him, "Zhang Xi, you take care of those three!"

Qian Fei and Qin Ming simultaneously grabbed his arms, their knives slashing towards Wu Feng's face. He leaned back to dodge, the blades grazing his jaw. His evasive speed was incredibly fast, even faster than when Qin Ming was at his peak mental strength.

Wu Feng took a few steps back, twisted his arms, and two daggers slid out from his sleeves, their cold glint reflecting in his mocking and murderous eyes.

Unable to match the speed, Qian Fei and Qin Ming could only fight head-on. In the blink of an eye, Qin Ming dodged the oncoming knife. Wu Feng gave them no chance to catch their breath and swung his knife diagonally at Qian Fei. Qin Ming used the momentum to step onto the wall, flipped in mid-air, and kicked him in the back of the head.

Instead of dodging, Qian Fei used her knife to block Wu Feng's double swords head-on. Seeing Qin Ming's movement, she quickly exerted her strength, clenched her fist with one hand, and smashed it violently into his stomach with all her might.

Wu Feng was attacked simultaneously in the back of the head and abdomen, causing him to stagger backward and kneel on the ground in pain.

Lin Chaoying and Jiang Chuangu discovered that Zhang Xi didn't have any special abilities, just greater strength, unlike Scarface who was like a wild beast. Jiang Chuangu had the flashlight clipped to his waist, and during the fight, it flashed the opponent's ferocious face and the shattered stones as his fist hit the wall.

Zhang Xi's attack was swift and ruthless. Lin Chaoying dodged with her upper body, bypassing Zhang Xi's fist. The short arrow in her hand spun 180 degrees in the air before the arrowhead was aimed at the enemy's arm. "Stab—" A brief, rapid sound of skin being torn open, and fine beads of blood oozed out from under the bloodstain.

Taking advantage of the moment she dodged, Jiang Chuan Gu swung the iron rod in his hand down towards her head. The other party let out a muffled groan. Lin Chao Ying seized the opportunity and swept her lower body, forcing the other party to retreat repeatedly.

Zhang Xi stood up fiercely, clenched her fists, and mobilized her strength to pound towards Lin Chaoying's face rapidly and continuously. Jiang Chuangu grabbed Lin Chaoying's waist with one hand and retreated. At the same time, Lin Chaoying raised her leg to kick away the oncoming fist. Unexpectedly, after taking a few blows, Zhang Xi grabbed her leg with both hands.

Jiang Chuan Gu was no match for the opponent's strength, and fearing that he might hurt Lin Chao Ying in the struggle, he decisively let go, and in doing so, he gave her a push. Lin Chao Ying used the pushing force and the pulling force from the other side to straddle Zhang Xi's waist, and grabbed her neck with one hand. "Bang—" Lin Chao Ying's legs knelt on the ground, her knees kicking up dust, and Zhang Xi's upper body was under her control.

Wu Feng tried to step forward, but Qian Fei and Qin Ming blocked his way side by side.

The two held their breath and focused their remaining spiritual energy on their foreheads.

Clear water swirled in Qin Ming's hand, while a small patch of dust gathered in Qian Fei's palm. The two met in mid-air, forming a snake-like mass of mud that instantly wrapped around Wu Feng's neck.

Wu Feng reacted quickly, leaning back to dodge and swiftly attacking, his twin blades slicing the mud into pieces in mid-air. When he looked up again, pebbles from Qian Fei's palm rained down on his face like a shower of flowers. Due to his weakened mental strength, his attack was weak. Wu Feng passed through the two of them and swung his blade down at Lin Chaoying's head.

Jiang Chuangu caught a glimpse of the movement of light and shadow out of the corner of his eye. He immediately grabbed Lin Chaoying's arm and pushed her away in the opposite direction. The moment she stood up, she stepped on Zhang Xi and leaped up, trying to dodge the attack. However, Zhang Xi grabbed her leg. Jiang Chuangu couldn't see Wu Feng's condition, so he kicked the fast-moving shadow hard. Wu Feng rolled on the ground once before standing up.

Qian Fei suddenly rushed towards Zhang Xi on the ground, grabbed her shoulder with one hand, and Qin Ming kicked away her hands that were restraining Lin Chaoying.

The two of them worked together to restrain Zhang Xi. Wu Feng crossed the Jiangchuan Valley and came to the corner behind Kong Yue. He grabbed her neck tightly and before Kong Yue could react, a feeling of suffocation overwhelmed her.

Qin Ming noticed immediately and shouted, "No!"

Qian Fei was both anxious and angry. He threw Zhang Xi to Qin Ming, picked up the knife and charged forward. Wu Feng grinned evilly and deliberately increased the force in his hand. Kong Yue's face turned red instantly and the veins on her forehead bulged.

"Fine! I won't move!" Qian Fei dared not make any rash moves and stood still.

Lin Chaoying wanted to use her hidden arrow, and just as she was about to raise her hand, Wu Feng increased the force. Kong Yue's mouth was half open, and a hoarse sound came out of her throat uncontrollably.

"What do you want! Tell me!" Lin Chaoying panicked, her hands dangling in the air.

Wu Feng narrowed his eyes and laughed arrogantly, "I don't want anything, I want her life."

"Where is she!" Qin Ming had just tied Zhang Xi up with his tattered clothes, grabbed her arm, and held a dagger to her neck. "Let her go, and we'll release this!"

“Zhang Xi, you know him,” Wu Feng said, his tone laced with undisguised contempt. “Good luck to you.”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Xi even tried to ram Qin Ming's knife with her body. If Qin Ming hadn't reacted quickly, the woman would have been bleeding on the spot.

Qian Fei warned fiercely, "If you dare touch her, I'll make sure you go to see the King of Hell right now!"

Kong Yue struggled instinctively, her right hand reaching for her waist. Suddenly, a slender silver light flashed in the darkness, and Wu Feng watched helplessly as his hand froze, completely unable to move.

In the blink of an eye, Kong Yue, still conscious despite her staggering movements, pulled out the silver needle from his arm and inserted it into the acupoint on his neck.

Wu Feng fell backward stiffly, like a wooden board.

Lin Chaoying immediately pulled Kong Yue back and checked her neck, "Are you alright?"

Kong Yue's vocal cords were injured, and she said hoarsely, "It's alright, sister, I practice both Chinese and Western medicine!"

Qian Fei, still not satisfied, slapped Wu Feng a few more times, saying, "Have you no shame?"

Wu Feng rolled his eyes, the only eye he could move. Kong Yue took out her pouch, took out several silver needles, and inserted them into his limbs and chest, finally removing the one from his neck.

Qin Ming restrained Zhang Xi, and the others attacked from both sides, blocking their path.

Kong Yue: "I have controlled his limbs, he can't move, but he can talk."

Wu Feng sneered, "Do you think you can get out of here?"

Lin Chaoying: "From the moment we entered the manor, you were prepared to lure us in? You already knew our identities?"

Wu Feng: "What else? I was planning to wait three more days and play with you guys some more, but who knew you'd go to the ancestral hall in the middle of the night and see something you shouldn't have!"

Qian Fei looked at Qin Ming with a puzzled expression. "They're just a few broken signs. What's wrong with them?"

Lin Chaoying: "Are you talking about Mei Shuang and Wu Yang's names? When you first said that the small team became fertilizer for your young master, was it Wu Yang's fertilizer?"

Wu Feng didn't speak, but Qian Fei punched him twice more, then held a knife to his neck, yelling, "Are you fucking going to talk or not! Where are the people from 12th Street?!"

"Twelfth Street?" Wu Feng's laughter was laced with mockery. "There are too many ghosts from Twelfth Street here. You'd have to wait in line if you wanted to find one. But maybe your colleague's blood was still lingering in those plants you just burned..."

Lin Chaoying frowned, not wanting to hear his disruptive words, and asked, "You've confused me, haven't you? You can't get any information out of me, yet you're still saying these nonsensical things."

Kong Yue pulled the silver needles from his hand and stabbed them into the back of his neck. Wu Feng closed his eyes and became still.

Qin Ming turned to Zhang Xi and asked, "Did you deliberately leak this information?"

Zhang Xi remained silent.

Lin Chaoying stepped on Wu Feng's arm, stared at Zhang Xi, and said, "Kong Yue, I want to cripple Wu Feng's legs."

Kong Yue didn't hesitate and pulled out two silver needles. Lin Chaoying grabbed her hand and said unusually, "No, let's bleed a little bit. This needle isn't stimulating enough for me."

Kong Yue understood the implication in her words, glanced at Zhang Xi, and said, "Then have Qian Fei cut off his heel with a knife, and then..."

Qian Fei pursed his lips, finding the sound rather bloody, but still obediently walked to Wu Feng's feet with his knife in hand. Just as he was about to strike, Zhang Xi's voice stopped him: "Wait! I don't know much, you can ask!"

Qin Ming quietly gave the three a thumbs up for their teamwork and continued to ask, "Tell me everything you know."

Zhang Xi sighed, "Wu Feng and I were arranged by Steward Zhang to lure you into finding the cave entrance yourselves. I didn't expect you to suddenly barge into the ancestral hall tonight. Steward Zhang demanded that you be led into the cave entrance immediately."

Qin Ming: "Why did we have to find it ourselves in the first place?"

Zhang Xi shook her head and said vaguely, "I don't know the specifics either, I just work for the Wu family."

Lin Chaoying changed the subject and asked, "Is Butler Zhang also a superhuman?"

Zhang Xi nodded, "Yes."

Kong Yue: "Does she listen to Wu Liang or that other lady?"

Lin Chaoying said, "Wu Liang, he should be the ghost general Huang Sheng. After all, they always said he was going to be fertilizer for the young master. Madam Tang and her child are not on the family tree."

Qin Ming asked, "Does 'fertilizer' refer to the deaths of superhumans? The three people from Twelfth Street a few days ago, one woman and two men, are already dead?"

Zhang Xi: "No. Fertilizer is a metaphor, it's used to help the young master improve his mental strength. I don't know if they're dead or not."

"What does 'enhancing mental strength' mean?" Qian Fei didn't understand.

Kong Yue suddenly realized, "You're treating the superhumans of Twelfth Street like monsters?"

"Strange beasts?" Lin Chaoying and Jiang Chuan Gu were completely confused.

Qin Ming and Qian Fei reacted and stood there stunned. Qian Fei was so angry that he kicked Wu Feng a few more times.

Kong Yue: "There is a special organization in Twelve Street that develops animal superpowers to assist superpower users in their daily training and assessment. The purpose is to stimulate and improve superpower users' ability to control their superpowers when facing attacks during combat."

Jiang Chuan Gu: "To put it bluntly, is this just for Wu Yang to practice and level up?"

"What are you so angry about?" Zhang Xi sneered, saying disdainfully, "Isn't it the same whether you use animals to increase your rank or we use people? Does using animals make you superior?"

Lin Chaoying retorted, "During the fight, I didn't sense any special physical abilities from you. You're just an ordinary person, so why do you categorize yourself as part of the Ghost Gate?"

Qin Ming, too lazy to waste words, grabbed her collar and said, "I'm asking you one last time, where are the three of them now?!"

Zhang Xi turned to look into the deeper cave and said, "Even if you go in, do you really think you can save them? So many people from Twelfth Street have come one after another, and in the end, they've all just become fertilizer."

In the darkness, it seemed as if a hunter's eyes were secretly watching the prey that was about to be caught.
