Chapter 33 Trampling

"What if I don't agree?" For some reason, I was quite unhappy with his clearly stated price for the deal and refused outright.

"You can choose not to agree, and I will not force you. But I must tell you that unless you destroy my immortal body, I will always have other ways to return. However, you will never be able to enter the ranks of immortals again, and there will not even be a place for you in the Three Realms and Five Elements." Wen Heng patted my shoulder in a manner that was as familiar as ever.

"I have a saying for you: 'Deep affection is short-lived, and extreme wisdom is bound to bring harm.' Never lose your life because of a doomed love affair, nor try to be clever and find other ways to suppress my existence, lest you harm yourself! Not only will you ruin your cultivation, but in the end, it will all be for nothing."

If you still can't make up your mind tonight, my divine consciousness will dissipate, and when I return, I will absolutely not give you any more chances."

After speaking calmly, Wen Heng rolled off the bed, straightened his clothes, and walked outside with his hands behind his back. He looked up at the bright moon in the sky after the dark clouds had dispersed and said, "Oh, the moonlight is beautiful tonight."

Suddenly, I realized that my cultivation level was far inferior to that of the ancient fox who had lived for ten thousand years. He could see through almost all the desires and thoughts in my soul.

I squinted at his smug figure. I muttered resentfully to myself, "You bastard, you old fox!"

I know all too well that the so-called cultivation is in the world, and Taoism is about entering the world and transcending it to achieve enlightenment. Everything should be left to fate and cannot be forced.

It seems that my fate with Zhou Lang has come to an end. If I continue to force it, the final result will only be the bad consequences of forcing it, not the good outcome.

Although emotions are hard to control, life is even harder to save. If you're going to talk about love, you have to save your life first. I can tell which is more important.

Being as clever as I am, I would never allow myself to fall into an irredeemable emotional vortex, and Uncle Mountain God is a cautionary tale for me.

Besides, he made me lose my virginity to him so easily yesterday, I should at least get something back from him.

I rolled out of bed and walked slowly into the courtyard with my hands behind my back. Wen Heng was leisurely lying on my armchair, basking in the moonlight with his eyes down.

I walked up to him, cleared my throat, and said seriously, "Is it true that you will hand over the letter of understanding and the Immortal Register Seal to me after the matter is settled?"

"What? Have you figured it out?" He continued to lower his eyes and close them, not even glancing at me.

"Since my karmic ties with that dull-witted fool Zhou Lang are severed, I should be able to let go. Once I attain immortality, all the beauties of the celestial realm will be at my disposal, and I can find another love!"

"I thought you were deeply in love with Zhou Lang, and even if you couldn't be together, you would at least be heartbroken. I never expected you to be so heartless and even start thinking about your next lover!" Wen Heng opened his eyes and squinted at me with a complex expression that was half disgust and half incomprehensible to me.

I spread my hands helplessly and said, "There's nothing I can do... What can I do? Am I supposed to remain a widow for someone whose relationship is destined to end in failure?"

"In that case, let's finish this quickly so you can become an immortal sooner and find your many lovers!" Wen Heng suddenly stood up, grabbed my arm, and rushed into the room.

Then, without any tenderness, he suddenly pounced on me and threw me onto the bed.

He ravaged her like a wild beast.

After it's over.

He straightened his clothes, got out of bed, and sat down at the table with the air of an old man. He leisurely poured himself a cup of tea, a smug smile playing on his lips as he looked at me.

I sat up, disheveled and with a resentful look on my face: "Wen Heng, you're a beast in human clothing!"

He downed the tea in his cup in one gulp, walked slowly to me, and mercilessly reached out to pinch my face, making me wince and hiss.

I rolled my eyes at him and then turned away angrily.

Unexpectedly, he persisted, reaching out to lift my face: "Doesn't this scene seem familiar? Didn't you pinch my face like this before?"

I shook off his hand, covered my face where he had pinched it painfully, and glared at him resentfully. It seemed this guy was repaying kindness with enmity.

"I'm tired, give me a shoulder massage and a back rub." He shamelessly sat down on the edge of the bed and started ordering me around.

"You little brat, you're actually ordering me around!" I squinted at him, clearly indignant.

"What? You're unwilling? Then shouldn't I reconsider this letter of understanding and the seal of immortality?"

After tormenting me like a mad dog, he now tells me he's thinking about it?

This is intolerable!

I was suddenly seized by a wicked thought: to knock him unconscious. Then, I would seize the opportunity to give him a good beating. My eyes flashed, and I reached out my palm to chop at his neck.

Unexpectedly, his reaction was very sharp. He only glanced at me out of the corner of his eye, then shifted his body and dodged my palm strike.

I was not convinced, so I stretched out my other curled fist and swung it at his face. If I didn't give him a good beating today, I would be a dog.

But he tilted his head back and easily dodged my punch.

Then we exchanged dozens of moves, but I never managed to touch a single finger of his.

In the end, he pressed my arm down onto the bed and mocked, "Who taught you such lousy kung fu? It's so unbearable to look at."

My arm was aching from his grip, and I struggled for a long time but couldn't move. In the end, I could only throw a tantrum and burst into tears: "You're a bastard! As a god, you don't know how to cherish women at all, and you even bully a weak woman like me."

He probably never expected me to cry, and hurriedly let go of my hand: "I was just joking with you, why are you being so delicate?"

But I buried my head in the bed and cried even more recklessly.

"Hey! Stop crying." Hearing me continue to sob, he kicked my leg, which made me cry even harder. His voice softened, "Hey! Why are you still crying?"

Seeing that I remained unmoved, he bent down and brought his head close to mine.

They tried to pry open my head.

As I sensed his presence drawing ever closer, I threw a punch.

His head swayed a few times in front of me, then his eyes rolled back and he fainted.

Having succeeded, I stood up with a wicked grin and stomped on his back: "You bastard, trying to mess with me! Haven't you heard that all's fair in war!"

Then I turned him over and pinched, pulled, tugged, poked, and rolled his eyes back at his face, watching him become a grotesque monster as I tormented him, to vent my inner resentment.

I was exhausted after tossing and turning all night. Finally, I yawned listlessly and lay down to sleep.
