"Fourth Prince, don't be so stingy. Your sister is my sister. We've been classmates for two years. Don't worry about such a small thing." The little snow leopard nimbly picked up the pill, turned around and jumped out of Mo Xuanshuang's attack range. "I'll sell this medicine, and I'll definitely share half the money with our sister."
The little red fox girl also took the pills, and then left behind a few beautiful ores: "These are special ores from our clan, especially suitable for forging spirit weapons. I'm giving them to you."
Seeing that someone had started, the other cubs followed suit, either taking out snacks or local specialties to exchange for them.
Those are top-grade pills, only a tiny amount are produced each year, not even enough for the major clans, let alone outsiders. They are priceless and unavailable, so it would be a lie to say you weren't tempted.
Everyone appreciated Ruoruo's kindness, and even when the table was blown up, the cub, who was initially a little unhappy, instantly became happy.
Finally, Ruoruo lifted the tablecloth and faced the little chubby bird huddled in the corner. She placed the pill in the healing potion and carefully pushed it towards them: "I'm sorry, Ruoruo scared you. This is an apology. Ruoruo won't bully you, so don't be afraid, okay?"
The roundest little chubby chick cautiously stepped forward and took the pill: "Chick? You really don't want to eat chicks?"
Ruoruo nodded seriously: "I won't eat it."
Little Chick isn't meaty enough, so it's better to eat cranes instead.
The little chicks emerged one by one from under the tablecloth, chattering amongst themselves for a moment. Then, each of them presented Ruoruo with a few beautiful feathers: "Thank you for the pills. These are feathers that our elders shed. They can be made into a wind-attribute feather fan. As long as you don't bully the chicks, we'll be good friends."
Ruoruo smiled and said, "Okay!"
She loves chubby little birds the most! Slurp~
The little white tiger raised its hind paw and kicked its chin: "Mo Jinyan, why did you teach Ruoruo to deliver the pills?"
Mo Jinyan glanced at the little white tiger with disdain: "You should learn more from your older brother."
With a bad temper and poor interpersonal skills, there's a reason why the Fourth Prince of the Celestial Realm has a bad reputation.
Red Fox directed the two bear cubs to tidy up the messy classroom, so that Xin Yi wouldn't come in later and ask about the situation, and then scold Ruoruo.
The bear cub, carrying the fasting pill, was extremely obedient, diligently moving the table.
"Why don't I see any human classmates?" Ruoruo asked curiously.
Of all the cubs in the class, only Ruoruo was humanoid; the rest were all demons. Not a single human was seen.
"Humans cultivate differently from us. They are talented, but their lifespans are short and they grow old quickly. They must cultivate according to their own clan's cultivation methods. Once they reach a certain level and have a long lifespan, they can directly take the exam for the Xuan class," Mo Jinyan explained.
Ruoruo nodded obediently, pointed to the chubby little birds and asked, "Do they look just like Third Brother? Are they all little phoenixes?"
"! How do they resemble me, the phoenix?" Mo Jinyan's beady eyes widened. "Their fledglings are all red, while mine are yellow! I am a phoenix of the immortal race, and they are vermilion birds of the demon race! We phoenixes can be reborn from the ashes and have different attributes, while the vermilion birds are of the wind attribute, and once they die, they are gone!"
Mo Jinyan chattered indignantly, defending his clan for being mistakenly identified.
Ruoruo nodded blankly, feeling that the cubs of the two races were actually quite similar, except for their different colors.
The little snow leopard jumped over and asked, "Huh? Does Your Highness think I'm a celestial being or a demon?"
Looking at the cute, fluffy white snow leopard, Ruoruo thought it looked just like her fourth brother and tentatively asked, "A celestial being?"
"You guessed wrong! I'm a demon!" The little snow leopard ran to the other cubs as if something funny had happened, saying, "Your Highness can't even tell the difference between immortals and demons!"
Other friends would run up to Ruoruo and ask her if she had heard anything interesting, "Guess if I'm a fairy or a demon?"
Ruoruo said angrily, "But everyone seems pretty much the same, how am I supposed to guess?"
The little snow leopard thought for a moment, then raised its paw and suddenly unleashed a burst of spiritual energy, cracking the pile of discarded tables in the corner once more with a snap.
"Can you feel it? Demonic energy is different from celestial energy."
Ruoruo did indeed sense that his attacks were somewhat different.
Mo Jinyan explained to Ruoruo: "Cultivation in the Six Realms cannot be separated from spiritual energy. The demon race transforms spiritual energy into demonic energy, the immortal race transforms spiritual energy into immortal energy, and the demon race transforms spiritual energy into demonic energy. The spiritual energy of each race cannot be transferred to each other. Unless one has not inherited the talent of a relative, one can choose to cultivate the remaining energy on one's own while resting."
Ruoruo counted on her fingers: "There are only the Three Realms here."
"Because the immortal race and the human race are both very special, they can cultivate the qi of whichever race they want to ascend to. Currently, the human race is basically dependent on the immortal realm and mostly cultivates immortal qi, while the immortal race can do whatever they want."
"The Netherworld Clan can only cultivate immortality or demonic cultivation. They are currently affiliated with the Demon Clan and mostly cultivate demonic energy."
This is also why the academy was only divided into three departments: Immortal, Demon, and Monster.
Ruoruo barely managed to gain a basic understanding of the Six Realms, and finally understood why there were so few humanoids in her class.
Mo Xuanshuang, however, seemed quite interested in the medicine Ruoruo mentioned: "The medicine you're talking about can help us transform into human form sooner, right? Third Brother is in a hurry to transform, isn't he? Why don't we give it to him?"
Ruoruo trembled slightly, remembering the pain of her transformation, and shook her head vigorously: "Don't eat that, it hurts too much."
Taking that medicine felt like a fire starting from inside my stomach and burning outwards inch by inch, burning and melting away all the flesh and bones in my body, and then reshaping my body.
