Yun Fei's doubts were not completely dispelled, but since Dan Moyunlan had said so, he could only accept it.
Mo Yunlan looked at the nervous Ruoruo and smiled: "My younger sister is well-educated, gentle and lovely, obedient and well-behaved. This little guy is naughty and willful, ran away from home, and is all talk and no action. How are they similar?"
Ruoruo was momentarily unsure whether Mo Yunlan was praising her or scolding her.
She pouted angrily and stopped talking.
Yun Fei, who had initially harbored doubts, now had some of her suspicions dispelled.
His elder brother was, after all, the adopted son of a celestial deity, while that little girl was the legitimate heir. Living under someone else's roof, she should be cautious and tread carefully in every way. Surely he wouldn't reprimand her like that in front of her?
At the palace gate, the mortal sovereign Yun Cheng, having heard of Mo Yunlan's return, waited at the gate early, pacing back and forth while muttering to himself.

Yun Cheng immediately turned serious and shut his mouth.
Mo Yunlan, carrying Ruoruo, walked up to him and bowed slightly: "Royal Uncle and Royal Aunt, it's been a long time. How have you been?"
"Alright, alright, your royal uncle was just worried about you. Everything's alright." Yun Cheng's carefully constructed expression crumbled instantly. He greeted her with boundless enthusiasm, but then his eyes widened suddenly, and he pointed at Ruoruo with trembling eyes, "Your daughter's all grown up already?"
Ruoruo's voice choked as she called out to the Emperor, and she looked at Yun Cheng with a puzzled expression.
