Chapter 131 Private Beach

It was noon when Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe arrived at the beach, and the sun was hanging just in front of the beach.

The entire beach is illuminated by the sun, reflecting bits of crystal light, and the azure sky makes the sea look particularly bright.

The reason why it is designated as a private beach can be seen from the towering hillside cliffs on both sides of the beach, which, combined with the sandy beach, enclose this piece of world like a picture frame.

Although the hillsides on both sides are not very high, they are not as suitable for activities as normal beaches. However, it is this unique structure that creates this unique private scenery.

After looking at each other, Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe could see the surprise in each other's eyes and quickly made a decision.

The two men tied the reins to the wrought iron railings, looked at the sparkling ocean, and ran straight over.

When they reached the steps and looked at the smooth and fine white sand, they took off their shoes decisively and stepped onto the beach barefoot.

The tiny gravel seemed to slide underfoot, and after being exposed to the sun, it brought a warmth that was not quite like winter.

When they reached the beach, since it was winter, Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe couldn't go into the water at all. They just played in the slightly cool sea water on the shore.

Feeling the gentle waves and the soft sea breeze sweeping across my feet, staring at the ebb and flow of the tide, I soon discovered a small crab digging a hole and hiding in the sand.

Zhao Mei reached out and tried to dial it, but finally she resisted the urge to take it home.

Just as Zhao Mei was digging holes one by one to find the second little crab, Qiu Jiahe called her from a distance.

"Beautiful! I wonder if there's a lounge here! Do you want to come in for a while?"

Following the sound, Zhao Mei saw a house that they had ignored, standing in the corner of the beach.

It is called a house, but it is more like a seaside villa, but it is not very large. The overall decoration is very modern, and there is no doubt about the age it was built.

As soon as you push the door, you will see a dining and living room. All the furniture is covered with waterproof cloth for easy cleaning.

On the right is a Western-style open kitchen, and on the left is a sofa, coffee table and TV, with everything you need.

Going further in, on the right is a SPA room decorated in a Zen style with two beds.

To the left is a large bathroom with an open view, a Jacuzzi tub and a shower head.

At the innermost part is a small master bedroom, which seems to be used for temporary rest. The decoration is modern and simple.

Zhao Mei had just finished her tour when Qiu Jiahe called her from the dining room, "Meili! There's actually food in this kitchen! But I can't tell if it's expired. Come and take a look!"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Mei hurried back to the dining room and saw Qiu Jiahe in front of the refrigerator, holding a bag of food of unknown origin.

Zhao Mei raised her hand to take it, and by the way introduced to Qiu Jiahe the word for production date in Florentine language, and how to find the most common locations of production dates.

The two stood in front of the refrigerator and looked at all the food. The dates on the food were all fresh and ready to eat.

Although Qiu Jiahe had just finished breakfast and was not very hungry, he still took a bag of biscuits out of curiosity and sat on the sofa.

"It smells like rotten money. The refrigerator is full in a place where no one would ever live. It even looks like the dates are changed every month or even two weeks. It's too extravagant."

Zhao Mei took a biscuit from the bag of biscuits in Qiu Jiahe's hand and put it in her mouth. She was instantly overwhelmed by the sweetness and frowned.

"That's normal, right? They're paid and nobody wants to live here, so they just need something to do. Also, don't eat this cookie, it's too sweet."

Qiu Jiahe stuffed one into his mouth in disbelief, and his expression froze instantly. He picked up the packaging bag and looked at it in disbelief, and only swallowed it after making sufficient mental preparation.

"Isn't this really just sugar transformed into something spirit? Is there really anyone who likes to eat this?"

Zhao Mei, who was frantically looking for water to rinse her mouth, shook her head: "Who knows? Anyway, I can't do it. If I take another sip, my throat will be blocked today."

Handing the cup of water in her hand to Qiu Jiahe, watching her gulp down the drink, Zhao Mei talked about her plans for the day afterward.

"It's too cold to go to the beach now. We'll go back soon. There are still a few courts. If you're bored, we can play ball. If you want to play in Florence, I'll ask the butler to prepare a car."

Qiu Jiahe finished drinking the water and nodded: "Okay, I just waded in the water for a while and my feet are already cold. I don't want to go into the sea. Let's finish touring the manor first. If there is still time in the afternoon, we can go to the city. I still have the important task of selling things for my mother and sister."

After the two of them finalized the general plan, they didn't stay here any longer. Instead, they left the room by the sea and rode back on horseback.

This time, the two of them just took a leisurely walk while riding horses. While walking, Zhao Mei introduced each part to Qiu Jiahe.

Because the entire manor covers a large area, it has gone through several owners, and each of them has been willing to renovate it, basically incorporating some of their own hobbies.

Whether it is the winery horse farm we just passed by, or the tennis courts, badminton courts and even a small golf course we see now.

This made Zhao Mei a little tempted. Since there was still some spare space in the manor, why not add her own hobbies into it?

But when I think about it carefully, I don't seem to have any extravagant hobbies. In just twenty years, I have either been studying or doing handicrafts. Compared with these, I really save a lot of money.

Sighing, Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe quickly finished touring the largest backyard of the entire manor. There was nothing much to see in the smaller front yard either, basically just some sculptures, fountains and flowers.

They rode to the back door of the castle, dismounted and handed the reins to the butler who was waiting there. After a whole morning of hard work, the cold milk they had in the morning was almost digested.

Because they had to go to the city in the afternoon, Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe did not change their clothes. They just washed their hands and sat in the restaurant.

Of course, Zhao Mei would not forget to tell Joseph that she needed a vehicle.

After hurriedly eating a half-full authentic Florence lunch, Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe looked at each other, both revealing indescribable expressions.

It’s not that it’s not delicious, but for Florence, dinner is relatively more important, so lunch is relatively simple.

After lunch, the two of them didn’t have the habit of taking a nap anyway, so thinking about the long shopping list, they rested for a while and then set off for the city.

In the city, the two followed the crowd and discovered a local market, which was similar to the vegetable markets in China, with people coming and going and it was very lively.

Zhao Mei and Qiu Jiahe scanned every food stall with extremely sharp eyes. There were stalls selling seafood rice, churros, lobster pasta, and chimney bread. The dazzling array of food was simply dazzling.

But diners’ reviews never lie. No matter how delicious the food is, you can tell whether it’s delicious just by looking at the diners’ expressions.

Thanks to their careful observation skills, the two of them quickly made up for their regret at noon. After a satisfying meal, they found a street coffee shop to sit down and rest comfortably.
