Chapter 132 Avenging Her and Venting Her Anger
In the hospital ward.
The machine beeped, and the doctors and nurses had already gone out.
Two men stood by the bed, both looking at Shang Wu's pale face.
Yan Yue sighed, feeling a wave of lingering fear.
He couldn't help but sigh, "Luckily, Miss Shang had the quick thinking to inform me, otherwise I really don't know what the consequences would have been."
Lu Rang lowered his eyes, a savage coldness filling them.
Where are they?
“The police have already been notified and he’s been arrested. Miss Shang’s idea is to send him to prison so he can go to jail. It just so happens that Zhou Yanci is dying soon, so it will allow them to reunite as master and servant,” Yan Yue replied.
Lu Rang's fingertips curled up: "It's not just him."
"What do you mean?" Yan Yue asked, puzzled.
Lu Rang glanced at him coolly: "The Zhou family is the mastermind behind this. Keeping them out here will only cause trouble. Send them all to prison, as well as the person who hurt her, and prosecute them for attempted murder."
Yan Yue listened in a daze, already assessing the difficulty of handling these matters in his mind.
Before he could speak, Lu Rang withdrew his gaze and said coldly, "Forget it, I'll handle this case myself."
Yan Yue shrugged: "You're not even at Dingfeng anymore, how can an unlicensed lawyer handle cases?"
"I'll be back, it's just a matter of a word," Lu Rang asked softly.
Yan Yue immediately came to his senses.
The Yu family can do things that others can't.
He made a zipping motion on his mouth, then turned and left.
After he left, Lu Rang slowly sat down on the edge of the bed, took Shang Wu's cold hand, and held it in his palm, his eyes flickering with emotions.
Just then, there was a commotion outside.
Yan Yue hurriedly turned back, breathing rapidly: "I just saw the merchants coming. You'd better leave quickly, or they'll find out."
Lu Rang pursed his lips and remained motionless.
Yan Yue hurriedly stepped forward and pulled him, "Come on! Besides, didn't you want to avenge Miss Shang? Let's take care of this matter first!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Rang finally reacted.
He stood up, gave Shang Wu a deep look, and left.
The moment they entered the stairwell, Ruan Yuzhi and Shang Yunshen also stepped out of the elevator.
They passed each other by perfectly.
Ruan Yuzhi's eyes were red with anxiety, and she couldn't believe it: "How could such a thing happen? How could someone stab someone in my own studio!"
"Don't worry, Mother, don't worry." Shang Yunshen tried his best to comfort her. "Awu will get better. Didn't her attending physician call just now and say that it's just a superficial injury, and there's no danger to her life? She probably fainted because she was too frightened. It's alright!"
Ruan Yuzhi ignored him, tears streaming down her face, and pushed open the ward door to go inside.
Meanwhile, downstairs.
Lu Rang got into the car, his face so cold that even the surrounding temperature seemed to drop a few degrees.
Yan Yue felt immense pressure sitting next to him, and couldn't help but shrink back before stepping on the gas and driving him away.
"Are we going to Aoki Prison now, or...?"
“Prison.” Lu Rang interrupted him, looking straight ahead.
Yan Yue understood his condition.
It is close to the onset of the disease.
He was clearly angry and unwilling to let it go; he was even on the verge of losing his temper.
He couldn't imagine what Lu Rang would do next.
But he also understood that Lu Rang was now determined to do things his own way, and no one could stop him.
Unless someone is looking for death.
Half an hour later, the car stopped at the prison gate.
Lu had already made a phone call on the way to inform the prison to be prepared.
When he arrived at the prison hospital, he heard desperate cries coming from the ward.
"My child, why did you provoke and scheme against the merchants for no reason? Now look what's happened to you, how am I supposed to live with you!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Rang pushed open the door and went in, glancing expressionlessly at the situation inside the ward.
Zhou Yanci lay on the hospital bed wearing a hospital gown, her hands and feet wrapped in thick gauze. Her face was purple and her lips were tinged with black. She looked like she had reached her limit.
Zhou's mother was crying by the bedside when she saw Lu Rang and was so frightened that she suddenly stood up.
Her eyes instantly turned venomous, and she raised her hand to point at Lu Rang.
"It's you, isn't it? You're the lawyer who's been working for Shang Wu all along!"
Lu Rang walked over without saying a word, reached out and grabbed Zhou Yanci's neck, his fingers tightening.
Zhou Yanci's eyes widened in disbelief at his actions, and she struggled with a pained expression.
Zhou's mother also rushed forward.
Yan Yue immediately stopped Zhou's mother and scolded, "Don't move!"
"What are you trying to do? Let go of my son! He's almost dead. Are you going to strangle him to death? You'll go to jail too!"
Zhou's mother was so frightened that her liver and gallbladder trembled violently, and she wished she could rush up and fight Lu Rang to the death.
However, Yan Yue held her down firmly, and she couldn't move, so she could only watch helplessly.
Lu Rang ignored her words and didn't even lift his eyelids.
He stared at Zhou Yanci with emotionless eyes.
Zhou Yanci was suffocating, and didn't even have the strength to break free from him.
He watched in horror as Lu Rang's eyes filled with murderous intent and ruthlessness, and began kicking his legs wildly in fear.
Seeing that he was really about to be strangled to death, Yan Yue immediately reminded Lu Rang: "Take it easy, he's about to die, there's no need to actually kill him!"
Lu Rang suddenly let go, and a hint of coldness flashed in his eyes as he looked at Zhou Yanci, who was barely clinging to life under his control.
"You deserve to die. Do you know what the consequences will be for hurting Shang Wu?"
His tone was calm, as if he wasn't angry about the matter, yet it carried a deadly sense of oppression.
Zhou Yanci covered her neck and couldn't say a word.
He was too weak to speak, and his neck was stinging from being choked, so he didn't know what to say.
Lu Rang didn't expect him to answer that question.
“I swore in my heart long ago that from the moment I decided to live, I would only live for Shang Wu. If she is harmed in the slightest, I will make others pay a hundredfold.”
Zhou's mother's lips trembled slightly: "What do you mean?"
"It doesn't mean much, but it leaves you with one of the most wonderful experiences in the world."
After saying that, he got up and left.
Yan Yue also shook off Zhou's mother, turned around, and followed.
Zhou's mother fell to the ground, staring at their retreating figures, and shouted in fear, "What are you going to do? What did Lu tell you to do?!"
Lu Rang didn't look back, and simply left the ward.
The next second, several men in black rushed in and surrounded them, pinning Zhou's mother to the hospital bed next to them and tying her hands and feet.
Zhou's mother faced Zhou Yanci and saw clearly that her son was in great pain and on the verge of death.
“Over the next few days, we will stop all treatment for your son. The hospital and prison could have euthanized him, but unfortunately, you wasted that opportunity.”
The man in black smiled enigmatically. "Then just watch your son suffer and die from the pain of his infected wound."
Zhou's mother stared at them with wide eyes, completely stunned by disbelief.
"What did you say? You're going to stop all of Yanci's medication? Are you just going to watch my son die?!"
Zhou Yanci was still unable to speak; her throat sounded like a broken hairdryer, producing a harsh and unpleasant hoarse sound.
He tried to speak, but couldn't utter a single word; his eyes were filled with fear of death.
The man in black glanced at him with disdain before looking away.
"So what? Your son has committed numerous evils, almost causing the business to be ruined. This is the best outcome for him. Our young master is personally suing you for attempted murder. You won't be out of prison for more than ten years."
"By then, because of the pain of losing your child, even if you manage to live on, you'll inevitably be in agony like a walking corpse. Are you looking forward to it?"
After saying that, they left, ignoring the desperate and devastated looks in the eyes of the mother and son behind them.
A few seconds after they left, deafening cries and insults erupted from the ward.
Zhou's mother went crazy, crying, cursing, and yelling.
But no one ever approached that ward.
downstairs.
Lu Rang got into the car and ordered, "To the hospital."
Yan Yue felt inexplicably afraid.
He wasn't sure if Lu Rang was just too angry or if he was acting abnormally and about to have an attack.
Yan Yue coughed lightly and said cautiously, "Well, the Shang family is in the hospital right now. If you go there, they'll probably kick you out. Besides, weren't you supposed to pretend to break up first and find out the connection between Miss Shang's mother and the Yu family so you can explain things properly? If you go now, you'll mess everything up."
Lu Rang swept his expressionless, cold gaze over them.
Yan Yue understood, so he shut his mouth and said no more, stepping the gas pedal all the way down.
...
In the ward, only Shang Yun Shen sat by the bedside, taking care of Shang Wu.
Ruan Yuzhi has disappeared without a trace.
Yan Yue felt something was off, and he had a feeling that Lu Rang had sent the person away.
Before he could ask anything, Lu Rang pushed the door open and went inside.
When Shang Yun Shen turned around and saw him, his expression changed slightly.
How did you get here?
Lu Rang walked straight up to him, lowered his eyes, and said calmly, "I want to stay here with her."
Shang Yun Shen almost laughed in anger when he heard this.
He had never heard anyone speak in such an imperious, commanding tone before.
He stood up. "A-Wu is our family, my sister, my mother's daughter. You're the one who shouldn't bother us. What right do you have to order me around? Besides, you've already broken up and have no relationship anymore..."
Before he could finish speaking, Lu Rang handed over a certificate.
"Can I just take up half an hour of Shang Wu's time between now and when she wakes up?"
Upon seeing what was in his hand, Shang Yun Shen froze, his breath catching in his throat.
