Chapter 173 Gift

The next day, Lin Sui forgot about this little episode.

Because Zhou's mother and sister-in-law came to see the child again, Lin Sui actually didn't want to see them at all, but she had no choice. Paipai was a member of the Zhou family after all, and Lin Sui was still hoping that Paipai could get a share of the Zhou family's property. After all, she didn't want her son to live a hard life like she did when she was a child.

Zhou Dang went to the company for something in the morning, so Lin Sui was left alone in the villa waiting for the two of them to arrive.

Around ten o'clock, a stretched Lincoln stopped in front of the villa. The driver opened the door and Zhou's mother got out of the car gracefully, followed by her equally wealthy sister-in-law.

Through the floor-to-ceiling window, Lin Sui saw that Zhou's mother and sister-in-law were simply amazing. They were dressed like sisters, both wearing new Chinese-style clothes with jade necklaces. Lin Sui squinted at her sister-in-law. She really didn't know what was wrong with her sister-in-law. She was only in her thirties, but she looked like she was in her sixties.

After entering the house, Lin Sui stood at the door and this time called out "Mom" politely. Zhou's mother sneered, "You are so realistic. As soon as you and Zhou Dang got the marriage certificate, you also call me Mom."

Lin Sui smiled and said, "The more courtesy, the less blame."

The eldest sister-in-law smiled, looked around, and then asked, "What gift did you give?"

Lin Sui also smiled and looked at her sister-in-law. "I'm saying this to you. You're coming to see your nephew, so you can't come without any gifts, right?"

The eldest sister-in-law was stunned for a moment. She really didn't bring anything. She originally thought that a poor man like Lin Sui was not worthy of her gifts. However, she forgot that although Lin Sui was a poor man, the child she gave birth to was a treasure.

"How could that be?" The eldest sister-in-law took off the jade necklace from her neck. "This is a gift I prepared for my nephew. It's very expensive and a real treasure."

"Thank you, sister-in-law, on behalf of Paipai." Lin Sui took it. She knew nothing about jadeite, but she felt happy when she saw her sister-in-law's distressed look.

Zhou's mother glanced at her sister-in-law coldly. After all, she was Paipai's grandmother. She was obviously dissatisfied with her sister-in-law coming to see Paipai empty-handed.

Paipai was brought over by the confinement nanny, and Zhou's mother quickly stood up from the sofa, "Oh, my dear grandson, do you miss grandma?"

The nanny said a little embarrassedly: "Be quiet, he is sleeping."

"Oh oh..." Zhou's mother immediately fell silent.

She gently took Paipai. The more Zhou's mother looked at her, the more she liked her. She wouldn't let go once she hugged her. Although the sister-in-law looked at Paipai with a smile, she felt very uncomfortable in her heart. It was obvious that Zhou's mother liked Paipai more than Xuanxuan. In fact, she should have guessed it a long time ago. Just like Zhou's mother liked Zhou Dang more than her husband, love would be passed on through blood.

Besides, although Zhou Tao works in his family's company and Zhou Dang has started his own business, as long as Zhou's father is still in office, Zhou Tao will always just be working for his family.

The eldest sister-in-law gritted her teeth and said, "Hmph, it's a good thing she kept a trick up her sleeve. Otherwise, when the family is divided a hundred years later, their branch will get nothing."

Mother Zhou held Paipai for a long time until her arms became numb. Then she was willing to hand Paipai back to the confinement nanny. She smiled and took out a box from her bag and placed it in Paipai's arms. "This is a gift from grandma. Keep it."

Lin Sui raised her eyes and saw that the confinement nanny had taken the child away.

My sister-in-law stretched her neck and looked for a long time, but she couldn't figure out what was in the box.

"Mom, what gift did you give Paipai? Why don't you take it out and let me take a look at it?"

"It's a worthless thing." Zhou's mother lowered her head and drank tea.

The sister-in-law curled her lips. How could it be a worthless thing? She was probably afraid that I would see it and make a fuss.

Zhou Dang came back at this time. As soon as he entered the door, he cried out, "Oh my God, Mom, I thought it was someone's twin sisters. What are you and sister-in-law doing? Are you playing with Russian dolls?"

Lin Sui chuckled. Zhou Dang always made accurate comments.

"Shut up! Nothing you say is what your mother wants to hear." Mother Zhou snorted.

Zhou Dang plopped down next to his mother and began to rock her arm. "Mom, go ask Dad what's going on. Why hasn't he prepared a gift for his grandson? Doesn't he love me anymore?"

Zhou's mother smiled, feeling very pleased. She pointed her finger at Zhou Dang's head and said, "Get up! You are so old, and you still don't behave properly?"

"No matter how old I am, I'm not as old as you. Isn't it normal for me to act like a spoiled child in front of my mother?" Zhou Dang held his mother's arm tightly.

Lin Sui sat on the sofa opposite, a smile on his lips, watching the scene silently.

To be honest, she envied Zhou Dang. He was almost forty years old, but he could still lean on his mother's arms and act coquettishly. His fearless temperament was probably because there was always someone supporting him behind the scenes.

She couldn't help but think of Paipai. It would be great if Paipai could grow up like this.

"Oh, okay, okay, I'll go back and ask your dad to urge him. Don't worry, there will be a lot of people sending him." Zhou's mother couldn't persuade Zhou Dang, so she finally gave in.

Zhou Dang immediately sat up and acted like a good boy in front of Zhou's mother.

"By the way, have you chosen a name for Paipai? I've given you so many names, why don't you use one? Is there someone who doesn't allow you to use one?" Zhou's mother hinted at something.

"Why should I let someone else name my son?" Zhou Dang smiled. "Besides, I've already chosen a name, ahem..."

Zhou Dang cleared the mulberry trees.

Zhou's mother, sister-in-law, and Lin Sui all looked over, only to see Zhou Dang slowly open his mouth: "Ahem, Paipai's real name is—Zhou Dashan!"

The whole place was silent. About three seconds later, Zhou's mother kicked Zhou Dang off the sofa and asked, "It took you several days to come up with a name like this?"
