Chapter 30 Report Letter

"Looks like we still have to continue with our plan. Let you get pregnant and stay home obediently. Then nothing will happen, right?"

Zhou Dang grabbed Lin Sui's wrist and threw her hard onto the sofa.

"It just so happens that today's outfit is nice, and we need a little fun between us!"

Zhou Dang approached step by step. Lin Sui closed her eyes in pain. She could no longer shed tears.

Today her heart was completely dead. She believed that Qin Chen no longer loved her. This fact made her extremely uncomfortable.

"Zhou Dang, I don't understand, will the child we give birth to really be happy?" she murmured.

Zhou Dang obviously didn't expect Lin Sui to ask such a question, and was stunned for a moment.

"Why wouldn't you be happy? I have tons of money, and he can't spend it all in his lifetime. Otherwise, what's happiness? You and your dad depend on each other and are so poor, how can you be happy?"

Lin Sui gave a hollow smile.

"You still don't understand. I'm afraid this is why we can never fall in love."

"What the hell is this love or no love? You love Qin Chen, and he loves you, so why aren't you together? Why did he find someone young and beautiful? Why doesn't he love his fiancée anymore?"

Lin Sui stared at the ceiling light. It was such a bright and beautiful light.

Gradually, she pulled her soul away again. She thought that she and her father were really happy, at least she felt happy.

She lived with Zhou Dang, with no worries about food and clothing, but in these five years, she had never felt happy.

An hour later, Zhou Dang lit a cigarette, smoked it, turned around, and went into the bathroom on the first floor.

He didn't even look at Lin Sui.

Lin Sui jumped up with a start, ran quickly to the bathroom on the second floor, washed his body vigorously, then took out some medicine from his bag, quickly took one, and hid the medicine in his bag again.

She would never give birth to a child for Zhou Dang. She had been carried away and almost agreed before, but now she was extremely clear-headed. She knew that even if she could not get a divorce and was bound to Zhou Dang for the rest of her life, she would never give birth to a child. Not bringing an innocent sick child into this world to suffer was one of the few good deeds she could do.

After waking up, Lin Sui went to work full of energy again. That's just how she is, she can never be defeated, which is probably her greatest advantage.

Big Boss Wang came earlier than her today. When he saw her, he asked her to go to his office directly.

"Here, your letter of complaint."

Big Wang pointed the laptop at Lin Sui and asked her to look at the contents.

Lin Sui was shocked and had already guessed who it was.

Sure enough, the title of the report was "Hypocritical! Married reporter seduces someone else's fiancé!" Lin Sui suddenly felt like laughing. Why did Fang Zhi have a better talent for journalism than her? He even wrote a headline that made people want to read it. He was really talented...

"I hope you can give me an explanation." Lao Wang turned the laptop back and tapped the table with his hand.

"Your performance has always been obvious to all. I don't want you to lose your job because of these things. I have always believed that you and the company need each other. What do you think?"

Lin Sui twitched the corner of his mouth, "Qin Chen... is my first love."

Big Lao Wang raised an eyebrow, "Oh, really?"

Lin Sui nodded and continued, "I'm sorry, I can't say anything else. I don't want to reveal my privacy layer by layer."

Big Wang nodded.

"Okay, you decide the limits of your relationship. I trust you, and I'll block this report for you. But three times the limit, if there are any others, I can't guarantee I'll be able to block them."

"Okay, thank you, Editor-in-Chief."

Lin Sui walked out of Lao Wang's office and suddenly lost the mood to work today.

Her colleagues had arrived one after another, and she suddenly didn't want to stay here any longer. Since the company didn't require her to be in the office anyway, she put her computer in her bag and went out with it.

The summer was still hot, and she hadn't enjoyed such a beautiful morning for a long time.

She decided to give herself a good day off today, turned on her phone, and wrote down what she needed to do today in the memo.

1. When you go to McDonald's, you must try the new ice cream cone!

2. Go see a newly released movie!

3. Get a blind massage (because it’s cheap)

4. Go to the bar alone at night!

After making her plans, Lin Sui headed for the nearest McDonald's and scooted over to a shared bike she hadn't ridden in ages. McDonald's was packed, so Lin Sui decided to grab a meal and eat it in the park. The park wasn't crowded that morning, so she sat on a bench, enjoying the lake view while eating French fries, feeling incredibly calm.

After eating and throwing away the garbage, she rode her bike again and headed to the nearest cinema. She used the coupon to buy a movie ticket, but to her surprise, she booked the entire theater. She watched the comedy alone and laughed so hard that the whole theater echoed with her laughter.

In addition to the cinema, he found a highly rated blind massage parlor nearby. After half an hour of massage on his shoulders and neck, he felt very comfortable. It was exactly six o'clock in the evening. Lin Sui found a bar with the highest rating nearby and went in alone.

It was probably still early, so the bar wasn't crowded. Lin Sui found a corner seat and ordered the cheapest drink. Unexpectedly, she was given a plate of broad beans. After taking a bite, the broad beans were incredibly salty. Lin Sui immediately understood that they were probably trying to get her to drink more, otherwise they wouldn't have given them to her. So, she didn't eat another one, deciding to put it in a plastic bag in her bag to take away.

There were people singing in the bar, all of them were songs from Lin Sui's era. A deep female voice was singing Fish Leong's "Growing Up Overnight" in a leisurely manner.

"That almost became our home, don't you really want it to?

Then wouldn't it be good to just be friends after all these years of being so devoted and innocent?

I thought the sound of rain would cover up your answer, but it is so clear.

Let this girl you once loved deeply grow up overnight..."

Lin Sui hummed along, her nose feeling sore again. After finishing the song, she raised her hand and went on stage to ask the sound engineer if he had an accompaniment for another song. After receiving a positive answer, she sat down in her seat and took the microphone.

When the prelude sounded, her eyes were already wet. Lin Sui's singing voice was different from her speaking voice, very gentle and graceful, and she quickly reached the climax.

"The person I love the most hurts me the most, and I have no right to choose whether to advance or retreat.

I close my heart tightly, leaving behind a moment of tenderness. I fear that there will be another life, and my love will still be the most genuine..."

Lin Sui closed his eyes and sang emotionally.

She was completely unaware that a man dressed in all black was sitting in the corner, squinting at her. His fingers were tightly gripping a glass of wine, and his knuckles had turned white from squeezing too tightly.
