Volume 1 Chapter 25 Open the Door

Volume 1 Chapter 25 Open the Door

Zhu Sheng went to the door and listened carefully. It seemed that several people were arguing outside.

"Boss Gu, this waiter just came to see Sister Zhu and said he wanted to go to the tea room on the second floor to discuss something important."

"My grandfather told me that no one can be allowed in without his permission. Please don't make things difficult for me."

"Momo, go downstairs and find Uncle Zhu now and tell him that if he doesn't come, don't blame us for being rude and just take down the door."

Outside the door, are Gu Chiye and the Shen siblings?

Mr. Yin in the teahouse mistakenly thought that reinforcements had arrived, and he shouted anxiously, trying to attract the people outside the door.

Unfortunately, the sound was too small, so in desperation he had to crash into the display shelves in the tea room.

"Bang!"

Several vases were knocked over, and the broken pieces were scattered all over the floor. Mr. Yin was also stabbed, bleeding profusely, and he lay on the ground howling in pain.

Hearing the noise inside, the people outside the door became even more anxious.

Zhu Sheng looked at Master Yin with disdain, feeling a little regretful. It seemed that this was the only way to end it today.

But if we open the door now, it might cause a worse effect, which is not too bad.

To vent her anger, Zhu Sheng gave Mr. Yin a few more kicks until someone banged on the door violently, and she was forced to walk to the door and turn the doorknob.

The door was suddenly opened, and Gu Chiye rushed in unexpectedly and bumped into Zhu Sheng who was behind the door.

This man, who was like an iceberg that would never melt, had completely lost his composure at this moment.

His face was tense, his brows were furrowed, and his breathing was rapid, like an angry snow leopard ready to tear the enemy in front of him to pieces at any time.

He didn't expect that the person behind the door was Zhu Sheng. He was startled, then immediately put away his anger and hugged the person who had bumped into his arms tightly, as if he had found a lost treasure.

A strange emotion surged in his heart. He didn't expect that a brief loss of contact would make Gu Chiye so worried.

Zhu Sheng was just like that in Gu Chiye's embrace, until Shen Yu spoke, breaking the ambiguous atmosphere.

"Ahem, Zhu Sheng, are you okay? Has anyone bullied you?"

Zhu Sheng finally woke up as if from a dream, and quickly took a few steps back, putting some distance between himself and Gu Chiye.

Gu Chiye seemed to have come back to his senses, and his expression calmed down a bit.

Just as Zhu Sheng was about to explain, a quarrel was heard from the stairs.

"Ms. Shen, this is my home. I am your elder after all. How can you come in so casually without any manners?"

Zhu's father was lecturing Shen Mo in a righteous manner, completely unaware of the chaos going on upstairs.

He went up to the second floor and was about to continue his long lecture to the youngsters, but he saw Zhu Sheng standing unharmed at the door of the teahouse, Gu Chiye who looked serious, and Shen Yu who looked angry.

The servant who was originally guarding the door was the first to rush over and hurriedly explain.

"Master, I have been standing here quietly. It was not me who opened the door. It was Miss Zhu who opened it from the inside."

"How is this possible?"

Zhu's father was shocked. If someone drinks that drug, he won't wake up for a whole day. How could Zhu Sheng stand here like nothing happened?

So what about Mr. Yin, where is he?

Feeling shocked and frightened, Zhu's father pushed aside his servants and rushed into the tea room, where he saw Master Yin, who was tied up and struggling to move on the ground.

After seeing Zhu's father, Mr. Yin struggled even harder. With his blocked mouth, he screamed desperately and tried to stand up. However, he had to fall down again because of his broken hands and legs.

Father Zhu simply couldn't believe what he saw. He ran over quickly and knelt on the ground to untie Master Yin.

As soon as I took off the rag from my mouth, I heard Master Yin cursing.

"Zhu Qi, you dare to play tricks on me? Wait, if I don't tear down your Zhu family, I won't be named Yin anymore."

Mr. Yin's shouts echoed throughout the villa, disturbing the guests who were enjoying the banquet.

They went up to the second floor out of curiosity and were shocked to see the scene in the teahouse. The young man from the Yin family who was traveling with them quickly called 120, fearing that something might have happened to Mr. Yin.

Soon, the doctor came and after diagnosis, he found that most of the injuries were superficial, so he gave a simple treatment and sent Mr. Yin to the ambulance.

The eldest son of the Yin family finally breathed a sigh of relief, and then immediately turned his attention to Zhu's father.

"Zhu Qi, we were here to support you out of kindness, but you were so bold as to beat my old man like this?!"

Zhu's father hesitated and stammered, repeating only one sentence for a long time.

"The flood washed away the Dragon King Temple. It was all a misunderstanding. It was a misunderstanding. I will explain it to you in private."

Zhu's father didn't want to give Zhu Sheng away, but he was worried that Zhu Sheng would reveal the drugging incident in public, so he had to practice Tai Chi here to stabilize the situation first.

The eldest son of the Yin family is a well-known filial son. He doesn't care about the reputation of the Zhu family and insists that Zhu's father explain everything clearly in front of everyone.

Seeing that Zhu's father wanted to settle the matter peacefully, he immediately took out a gun from his pocket, threw it heavily on the table, and threatened Zhu's father.

"Who beat him up? You must hand him over to me today! Otherwise, believe it or not, I will make your birthday celebration turn into a death anniversary."

This threat frightened Zhu's mother so much that she almost fainted.

She quickly grabbed the eldest son of the Yin family, pointed at Zhu Sheng, and began to accuse him with tears in her eyes.

"It was Zhu Sheng, the unfilial daughter, who took advantage of my husband's absence to go to the teahouse and beat up Master Yin.

She is an illegitimate daughter who has no respect for her elders. We can't control her at all. She doesn't even care about her father on weekdays. Today, she beat me and her sister as soon as she came. The guests here can testify to this."

As soon as Zhu's mother said this, the guests began to whisper and talk among themselves.

"This is horrible. Bringing home a daughter born out of wedlock is simply bringing disgrace to the family. How could the Zhu family tolerate this?"

"I heard that she was kicked out by her husband's family right after her divorce, and now she's coming to her parents' house to cause trouble. What a sin."

"Why did Mr. Gu marry such a wife? Fortunately, they got divorced, otherwise the family would not have peace."

Hearing all the dirty words, Gu Chiye's face turned gloomy. He wanted to stand up and argue a few words, but was stopped by Zhu Sheng's eyes.

She took the initiative to walk up to the eldest son of the Yin family and said to him in a neither humble nor arrogant manner: "You want an explanation, don't you? I can give it to you now!"

After saying this, she took out a recorder from her pocket and played the conversation in the tea room in front of everyone.

It was normal at the beginning, but as time went on, the conversation between Zhu's father and Mr. Yin became more and more unbearable to listen to.

"Stop, Zhu Sheng, I told you not to let go!"

Zhu's father became anxious and tried to snatch the recorder from Zhu Sheng's hand, but was held down by Shen Yu who was standing beside him.

"Uncle Zhu, compared to one-sided statements, it is rare to have such obvious evidence. Let everyone listen to it."

The recording continued to play, and the crowd's commotion grew louder.

The last part was about the treacherous conversation between Zhu's father and Mr. Yin. After hearing this, someone at the scene even cursed them as "beasts".

Mr. Zhu now completely lost the strength to refute. He was trembling all over, and collapsed to the ground, completely fainting.
