Chunxiao went to the field to call for help. When she came back, Zhou was washing Yan Erni's hair. She had changed two basins of water, but her hair was still not washed clean. Zhou was speechless.
"Xiaohua, please help Auntie boil two more pots of water in the kitchen. I'm afraid this water won't be enough for my bath later."
Tian originally had some resentment towards Yan Erni, and now she was shocked to see her tattered clothes. "Mom, what happened?" she couldn't help asking.
Zhou shook her head. "Your aunt refuses to speak. Let's clean her up first. You can cook some rice and two dishes later after we pour some water."
Shuduo and Pan'er stood beside Chunxiao, "Aunt, how can we help?"
Chunxiao touched Pan'er's head and said, "You don't need to help. You must be tired from working in the fields. Sit down and rest for a while."
Fang came over soon and saw Yan Erni with a puzzled look on her face. "I heard from the villagers that Erni was in trouble. Erni, what happened to you? How did you end up like this?"
Yan Erni's mood had calmed down a little, but now tears started falling again when she heard this.

Tian added more food to Erni's meal. She looked at Tian guiltily, and the words of apology turned around in her lips but she never said them out loud.
The family sat by and watched her wolf down the food on the table, feeling a little uncomfortable. When Zhou came over, Yan Erni had already finished eating, and Tian took the bowls and chopsticks to the kitchen.
