The car wasn't heading towards the city center; it was getting further and further away, and it looked like it was going into the mountains.

He lowered his voice and asked, "Are there any guesthouses or scenic spots nearby?"
Several bodyguards were chatting idly.
"This is outside the city, in a very remote area. How could it be a scenic spot? Besides, the scenery isn't good, and the road is extremely difficult to travel."
"That's right, where is Mr. Shang taking us?"
"They're not going to take us to some remote mountain village to eat kidneys, are they?!"

He simply followed the navigation and walked forward. Although he knew what Shang Wu was going to do next, he didn't know who they were going to meet.

The car continued to bump along for a long time before finally stopping in a small village.
Before Shang Wu even got out of the car, she saw two men in plain clothes squatting on the ground smoking. They looked rather unserious and seemed to be chatting about something, not even noticing the two cars that were coming from behind.
The bodyguard captain narrowed his eyes, his gaze resolute, and picked up the walkie-talkie, saying, "Take care of them."
At his command, the bodyguards in the van behind rushed over.
Before either of them could react, they were pinned to the ground.
Zhou Yanci stood on the outermost edge, unable to intervene, unaware of the situation, and unable to see what the person being firmly pinned to the ground looked like.
Shang Wu got off the bus.
The bodyguard captain placed the flat shoes in front of her.
The muddy roads in this village are difficult to walk on in high heels.
Shang Wu changed her shoes and stepped out of the crowd: "Make way, let me see."
The group retreated to both sides.
The two men who were being held down looked up and were stunned when they saw Shang Wu.
Zhou Yanci and Acheng were also stunned.
Zhou Yanci frowned in disbelief.
Isn't this the place where he had people guard his slumber?
He simply sent someone to bring Chenmian here; he didn't know her exact location, nor had he found her on the way here.
