Those wonderful days vanished with an accident; the apricot tree turned into a banana tree, all the stones at the bottom of Wanhu Lake were removed, and the dry well was sealed with cement forever.

Lu let go of the car door and threw the seal and marriage certificate inside.
Qianjue watched quietly from the side, and said unhurriedly, "Young Master, you will regret this."
Lu Rang paused as he was about to sit down, walked expressionlessly to Qian Jue, clenched his fist, and swung it directly at her.
Qianjue didn't expect him to hit so hard. He staggered a few steps and fell to the ground. His head was stepped on, and half of his face was buried in the damp grass. Every breath he took was filled with the damp, fishy smell of earth.
"I'll settle the score with you when I get back."
Lu Rang kicked Qian Jue away like he was kicking a dead dog, got into his car, and drove off.
He drove from Wanhu and arrived at Shangwu's apartment in just two hours, as fast as possible.
To everyone's surprise, a strange woman opened the door.
She was clearly surprised to see Lu Rang.
"Young Master, what are you doing here?"
Lu Rang frowned: "Who are you? Do you know me?"
"Yes, I was sent here by the master. He asked me to stay here."
"What about Shang Wu?" Lu Rang's face instantly darkened.
The woman looked bewildered: "But I don't know. First, they let me stay here so that I wouldn't be allowed to come back, to make her homeless. Now I don't know where she is."
Lu Rang suddenly clenched his fist, said nothing more, and paused again as he turned to leave.
"You have half an hour to get out of here. You don't deserve to live in this house!"
The woman quickly lowered her head and went back to pack her things.
Lu Rang immediately took out his phone and called Shang Wu.
As soon as the call connected, he was about to speak when a hostile voice came from the other end.
"Shang Wu, who is this? Calling you while you're at work? Instead of cleaning properly, you're here flirting with random people outside, aren't you!"
Lu Rang's heart clenched.
He had never heard anyone speak to Shang Wu in such a tone, as if Shang Wu were some object that could be abused at will.
He was scheming and waiting for the right opportunity to come out, but he never expected that Shang Wu would be in such a state in just one day and one night.
At this moment, Lu Rang wished he could kill the man who spoke, and he also regretted not leaving Wanhu immediately, but instead thinking about the marriage certificate in the study.
Lu Rang coldly asked, "Who are you? Where is Shang Wu?"
"None of your business! From now on, I'm keeping her phone safe. None of you will be able to find her!" The man spat and hung up.
Lu Rang's heart skipped a beat, realizing that Shang Wu was probably in an extremely unfavorable situation.
His breathing was rapid and heavy. The thought that Shang Wu might be harmed made him want to tear the man on the phone to pieces.
Lu Rang's expression remained steady, but his hands trembled as he dialed another number.
Meanwhile, at the clubhouse.
Shang Wu was cleaning the private room that had been disturbed by the guests.
Inside, there were fruits, drinks, and all sorts of random things, and the air was filled with an unpleasant smell of smoke and alcohol.
Shang Wu's facial wounds were only given haphazard hemostasis treatment, without even the option of proper bandaging and medication.
Everyone in the club listened to Su Tingting; no one gave her a friendly look.
Her wound was constantly in pain, so much so that she couldn't even take a breath.
Shang Wu swept the floor while lost in thought.
Someone just called her, but the manager of the club has already taken the phone away. It was Su Tingting who arranged it; she forbids anyone from contacting her.
But at this point, the only person who could probably call is Lu Rang.
She has to find a way to get his phone back.
Shang Wu was sweeping up the various kinds of trash on the floor with a broom when she heard a familiar voice coming from outside.
"Hmph! I don't want to go on a blind date with that man here! Who is he? He dares to set his sights on me? He's dreaming!"
Hearing that familiar tone, Shang Wu suddenly turned around and saw Tang Xueli walking towards them with several friends.
She already knew Lu Rang's number by heart and could borrow Tang Xueli's phone to contact him. Even if she couldn't get through, she could send Lu Rang her current address.
Shang Wu immediately put down the broom and went outside. She almost bumped into several people as soon as she reached the door.
Who is it?
The man at the front frowned and took a step back.
When they saw who it was, they were all stunned. They never expected that the person standing there at this moment would be Shang Wu.
They looked at each other in bewilderment.
"Shang Wu, what are you doing here? What happened to your face?"
Shang Wu ignored them and looked directly at Tang Xueli beside her, whispering, "Can I borrow your phone to call Lu Rang?"
Everyone stopped in their tracks.
Someone with their hands in their pockets said, "Miss Shang, your face has been smeared like this, why are you still calling the young master of the Yu family?"
Tang Xueli's expression was complicated, her eyes slightly darkened, and she pursed her lips as she looked at Shang Wu.
Shang Wu continued to ignore everyone else, only staring at her.
"Could I borrow your phone to make a call?"
“You…you’ve already fallen out with the Yu family, and Lu Rang has already broken off the engagement with you. What’s the point of calling him again?” Tang Xueli helplessly spread her hands, showing no intention of taking out her phone.
Shang Wu's breathing hitched slightly; she hadn't expected her to refuse.
