Cheng Zhou, who had been sitting quietly to the side, immediately stood up upon seeing this and stretched out his arm to firmly block Lu You.
"Youyou!"
His voice was gentle. "Don't be impulsive. You don't have any evidence now. Going to her will only make things worse and give her something to talk about."
Lu You was furious and wouldn't listen to anything.
"Are we just going to stand by and watch her bully A-Wu like this? I can't swallow this!"
Cheng Zhou held her tightly and patiently comforted her.
"Trust Ah Wu, she has the ability to solve this. If we intervene rashly, it may disrupt her plans."
"Calm down, okay?"
Under Cheng Zhou's gentle persuasion, Lu You's anger was temporarily suppressed.
She sat down angrily, no longer mentioning going to find Luo Xue.
Cheng Zhou thought she had taken his words to heart, so he relaxed his guard slightly.

She quietly picked up her phone and car keys and slipped out of the house without hesitation.

The night was as dark as ink. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles turning white. The hypocritical face of Luo Xue and the exhausted yet forced expression of Shang Wu kept replaying in her mind.
Shang Wu had just given birth to Yu Wu not long ago, why should she have to endure this kind of humiliation?
Why should we be schemed against by such a despicable person again and again?
Cheng Zhou's words of dissuasion were still ringing in her ears, but she couldn't care less.
There are some things that we know are impossible, but we must do them for the sake of the people we care about.
For example, to vent Ah Wu's anger.
Lu You parked the car downstairs at Luo Xue's apartment building, slammed the car door shut, went straight upstairs, stood in front of the tightly closed security door, and forcefully rang the doorbell.

An impatient female voice came from inside the door.

The door was suddenly pulled open a crack.
Luo Xue peeked out with her face mask on, her eyes filled with displeasure and wariness at being disturbed.
Before she could even see who was outside the door, Lu You had already used all her strength to push the door open completely.
Caught off guard, Luo Xue staggered backward after being hit by the door, her face mask falling to the ground and revealing her shocked and bewildered face.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
Luo Xue screamed, trying to see the intruder's face.
Lu You gave her no chance at all. Like an enraged lioness, she stepped forward and slapped Luo Xue's carefully maintained face hard and accurately with a powerful gust of wind.
"Smack!"
The crisp, loud slap echoed in the quiet apartment, sounding particularly jarring.
Luo Xue was stunned by the blow, her head turned to one side, and a clear red mark of five fingers quickly appeared on her cheek, burning with pain.
She covered her face, staring incredulously at the strange yet beautiful woman before her.
"Are you crazy? You dare hit me? Do you know who I am?!"
Lu You shook his slightly numb hand and looked down at her condescendingly.
"I'm going to hit you, Luo Xue."
"This slap is to teach you to shut up and stop spewing nonsense and spreading rumors!"
Luo Xue was so angry that she trembled all over and screamed as she lunged forward to fight back.
"I'll fight you to the death!"
But she was no match for Lu You. Lu You easily parried her wildly flailing arms and slapped her across the other side of her face with no mercy.
"Remember this: not everyone is someone you can mess with, and not everyone is someone you can scheme against!"
Luo Xue was beaten until she saw stars, her hair was disheveled, and she was in a terrible state.
She completely lost the ability to resist.
She collapsed to the ground, covered her face, and sobbed, her eyes filled with fear and resentment.
Who exactly are you?
Lu You straightened her slightly disheveled clothes, picked up the car keys that had fallen to the ground, and coldly uttered a sentence.
"I am Lu You, Shang Wu's sister-in-law. You better remember this: if you dare to lay a finger on A Wu again, I'll make sure you can't stay in this industry!"
She stopped looking at the disheveled woman on the ground and left the apartment.
Luo Xue was left alone sitting on the cold floor, enduring the burning pain in her cheeks.

Luo Xue gritted her teeth, struggled to crawl to her phone, her fingers trembling as she pressed the emergency call button, her voice trembling with tears.
"I'm calling the police! Someone has illegally broken into my home and violently assaulted me!"
"Yes! My face is so swollen I can't show my face to anyone! Someone, please come quick!"
The sound of sirens grew louder as they approached.
Lu You had only driven her car a short distance when she was stopped and taken to the police station for routine questioning.
When questioned by the police, Lu You remained unusually calm and arrogant.
She admitted that she had hit someone.
“I did hit her, she deserved it. I admit to hitting her, but I refuse to apologize to her because she doesn’t deserve it.”
The staff looked at this woman with a powerful aura and a tough attitude.
I also have a bit of a headache.
"Ms. Lu, assault is illegal..."
Lu You interrupted him directly.
"I know it's illegal."
"I will accept whatever the procedure is followed, whether it's a fine or detention, but an apology is absolutely out of the question."
