Chapter 3: Gossiping about her fiancé with the paparazzi

Seeing this, Zhou Yanci's breath hitched slightly, and without hesitation, he took off his coat and draped it over her: "Come on, I'll take you to clean up."

He hurriedly left with Chenmian, as if he had forgotten about Shang Wu.

Shang Wu remained calm and composed until they left, then leisurely went downstairs to her car to get some tissues.

The paparazzi downstairs were looking around, but couldn't find Zhou Yanci anywhere.

Shang Wu sent a notification on her phone: [Restroom.]

The paparazzi chased her upstairs, while she leisurely got into her car.

After a while, Zhou Yanci and Shen Mian came out.

They stood not far from the car, while paparazzi secretly followed behind the restaurant door.

Chenmian vaguely saw the figure in the car, her eyes flashed slightly, and she grabbed Zhou Yanci's sleeve.

Zhou Yanci paused, then pushed her away.

"Let's add each other on WeChat. I'll transfer the money to you after you buy the clothes. Your dress was stained by my fiancée, so I should compensate you."

Chenmian's eyes reddened: "Aci, do you really love her?"

Zhou Yanci replied without hesitation, "Of course."

"You're lying! If you loved me, you wouldn't have only cared about me when you saw our clothes were stained with wine."

Chenmian choked up, "You clearly like me more."

Zhou Yanci paused, then frowned.

Is Shang Wu's clothing wet too?

He didn't even notice.

Chenmian wiped away her tears: "It seems you don't know that your focus is only on me, yet you say you don't love me?"

Shang Wu listened quietly, her eyes filled with sarcasm and coldness.

Speak up, the more you say, the more will be exposed.

Zhou Yanci's image as a devoted and good man is also showing cracks.

Zhou Yanci's mind was filled with the thought that Shang Wu's clothes were wet, but he was nowhere to be seen.

He was getting irritated and pushed Chenmian away again: "Enough! You've been gone for three years, don't even think about rekindling our old flame! Chenmian, I want you to regret your actions and beg me to come back!"

Zhou Yanci turned and walked towards the car.

Shang Wu slid down, turned her head to look out the window, and prepared to pretend to be asleep.

To her surprise, when she squinted and looked out the window, she unexpectedly saw someone else enjoying the same spectacle.

Lexus half-opens car window.

The man, wearing a black shirt, sat lazily in the driver's seat, his deep-set, sharp eyes revealing a certain untamed wildness.

If Zhou Yanci is a wolf, then he is a mysterious lion, witnessing the entanglement between men and women without showing the slightest change in expression.

As if sensing Shang Wu's gaze, he glanced at her, slowly rolled up the car window, gripped the steering wheel with his well-defined knuckles, and drove off.

Shang Wu's heart tightened.

She watched her fiancé gossip with a cold eye; it wouldn't be a good thing if someone saw her doing so.

Shang Wu was in a hurry and wanted to memorize the Lexus's license plate number when the car door was suddenly pulled open.
