Shang Wu narrowed her eyes and stared coldly at Chen Mian.
Chenmian knelt down again with a thud.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault! It was my wishful thinking that led me to seduce A-Ci. It was because I used some despicable methods to have sex with him repeatedly when he liked you that I got pregnant!"
Zhou Yanci watched Shang Wu nervously from the side, afraid that she wouldn't believe him, and didn't care at all about whether Chenmian was alive or dead.
Chenmian gritted her teeth: "The Zhou family didn't want my unborn child to suffer an undeserved disaster, which is why they didn't send me away. Aci let me stay where I belong and give birth to this child. I have never succeeded in attracting Aci away. The person he loves is only you."
Sleeping sounded like an emotionless recitation machine, uttering these words as if in a daze.

Judging from the rhetoric, it was Zhou Yanci who gave the instructions.
She curled her lips into a mocking smile, a hint of coldness flashing in her eyes, and walked up to Chenmian, suddenly helping him up.
Zhou Yanci was stunned by this move.
Chenmian stared at Shangwu in astonishment, a hint of fear and suspicion flashing in her eyes.
After the incident was exposed online, she was severely reprimanded by Zhou Yanci, who told her that if it weren't for the child in her womb, she would never forgive her for what she had done.
She knew that the situation was beyond saving and that the Zhou family would definitely take their anger out on her. So she could only listen to Zhou Yanci, apologize to Shang Wu, and then say that everything that happened was because she deliberately seduced Zhou Yanci.
I still remember how confident and triumphant she was when she went to the branch office and told Shang Wu that she would never lose and that she was destined to be the Zhou family's wife.
But in the blink of an eye, she was about to kneel before Shang Wu, bowing her head and apologizing even though she was heavily pregnant.
This feeling of falling to the bottom in an instant drove Chenmian to the brink of madness.
Shang Wu looked down at Chen Mian and said, "It takes two to tango. You're wrong, but Zhou Yanci isn't without responsibility either."
Zhou Yanci gritted his teeth.
“But since I have already chosen to forgive him, then just do as I proposed in terms of compensation.”
As Shang Wu spoke, she gently placed her hand on the sleeping woman's belly.
For some reason, when she touched him like that, Chenmian trembled involuntarily all over.

Shang Wu forcefully pulled her hand back, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Give me a solution that I can accept, and I'll let the child in."
Zhou's mother opened her mouth and swallowed hard.
She then looked at Zhou Yanci.
Zhou Yanci pretended not to see her gaze.

Shang Wu sneered, interrupting her.
"You mean, Zhou Yanci betrayed me, had an illegitimate child with his mistress, and I still have to marry him, forgive him, and raise their child, is that right?"
Zhou Yanci shook her head: "That's not how it is. There's no love between me and Chenmian. It was just a moment of impulse on my part..."
Shang Wu turned around and slapped him hard across the face.
She pointed at Zhou Yanci.
"Don't forget what you promised me at the company! You signed an agreement saying that if this child dared to enter your home, you would hand over all of the Zhou family's shares."
Zhou Yanci covered her face, not daring to utter a sound.
Shang Wu sneered: "Fine, if you want this child to be a respectable member of the Zhou family, then give me your shares. Once I have the shares, I'll immediately help you raise your child."
Her cool voice echoed in the living room.
Everyone was stunned, staring blankly at Shang Wu, who seemed like a completely different person.
Overbearing and prickly.
Their murderous aura made it seem as if they were the enemies who had harmed her entire family.
Zhou's mother felt inexplicably flustered, but didn't know how to start the conversation.
Zhou Yanci slowly clenched his fists, which were hanging at his sides.
Seeing him begin to hesitate, Chenmian's eyes flickered, and she immediately stepped forward.
“The child is innocent, the child is the most innocent! Now, compared to shares, isn’t it more important for him to be a respectable member of the Zhou family? Ah Ci, I’ve done so much for you, all I want is for the child to be able to join the Zhou family, is that so difficult!”
