Lu Rang took her hand, cupped her face, and placed his hand on the back of her neck.
There are all sorts of ambiguous positions.
Shang Wu's eyes darkened slightly: "This is what you call leverage?"
"If you reveal my secret before we get married, these photos will go viral throughout the entire city."
Chenmian smiled smugly: "If you don't move, I won't move, but if you spread rumors outside, I will make you suffer eternal damnation."
Shang Wu glanced at her, stuffed the photo into the envelope, and handed it over.
"It's a deal."
Seeing that she was really intimidated, Chenmian burst out laughing.
She clicked her tongue twice, looking Shang Wu up and down in disbelief.
"I never imagined you'd be having an affair with that lawyer. No wonder you were so calm and indifferent when you found out about Ah Ci and me; it turns out you'd already changed your mind!"
Shang Wu chuckled lightly: "Yeah, who would like a hypocritical and disgusting scumbag like Zhou Yanci, except for you who's practically begging to get close to him?"
Chenmian's face stiffened.
Shang Wu raised her hand and patted her shoulder: "You're the same kind of person. You two are a match made in heaven, a perfect couple, but..."
She changed the subject, giving the sleeping belly a meaningful look.
"I'm just giving you a friendly reminder. If you want to find a father for your child, you should keep your eyes open and look carefully. Zhou Yanci is not the best choice. He might not even be as good as the child's real father."
Shen Mian's face turned cold: "I don't need you to worry about me! I just want Zhou Yanci. Even if he doesn't like me, he has to let me live a good life and be the wife of Chengzhou Group for the sake of the child!"
Shang Wu nodded, knowing that she wouldn't listen to a word she said.
If Shenmian really marries into the family, and Zhou Yanci goes to jail, the Zhou family will have no source of income. Shenmian and her child will be living a miserable life in jail.

Shang Wu turned around.
Chenmian's face turned ashen; she had broken down and chased after him in a few steps.

She assumed Shang Wu was just being stubborn, waved the envelope, and walked away without looking back.

Shang Wu sat on the steps, pondering for a long time, before calling A Ying.
"Find someone efficient to investigate who Chen Mian was in contact with a month ago."
After hanging up the phone, Shang Wu thought for a moment and then called Lu Rang.
Lu Rang's voice was gentle, and he seemed to be in a good mood: "What's wrong?"
Shang Wu said, "I can't sleep."
Lu Rang paused for a moment: "Nothing happened, right?"
"No, it's just..."
Shang Wu organized her thoughts and covered her face with the phone: "I just wanted to apologize to you for causing you so much trouble by helping me overturn the case."
She felt a little scared.

Shang Wu answered: "Hello?"
"Come out," Lu Rang said in a low voice.
Shang Wu suddenly got up and went to the window on the second floor, where she saw the Lexus parked outside with its headlights on.
She was filled with surprise. She went downstairs, pushed open the door, and walked a few steps to the car.
Lu Rang was wearing a dark gray cashmere sweater, with a few strands of hair hanging down his high brow bone. Gone was his cold and imposing aura; he exuded a reassuring presence.
Being so close, Shang Wu could smell the faint scent of his shower gel, indicating that he had already finished showering and was planning not to go out.
She was taken aback: "What's wrong?"
Lu Rang glanced at her preoccupied expression and said, "You seem a bit off. I came to check on you. Get in the car; it's cold outside."
Shang Wu opened the passenger door and got in.
"How did you know I was upset? My tone was exactly the same as usual."
Lu Rang gave her a deep look.
"I can sense whether you're happy or unhappy, so don't lie to me again next time."
He stepped on the gas and drove Shang Wu away.
