Ji Yu actually came out.
Shang Wu raised an eyebrow: "Where is she now?"
“She escaped and came to me, asking me to help her apply for a writ of habeas corpus and to sue Zhou Yanci for wantonly harming and imprisoning her.”
Lu Rang paused for a moment, then asked, "What are you planning to do now?"
Shang Wu: "Wait for me, I'll be right there."
At this moment, Ji Yu running out was actually a good thing for her.
She had originally planned to move Ji Yu away, to a place Zhou Yanci didn't know about, so that she could use her as a weapon to betray Zhou Yanci in the future.
Now she doesn't need to go to such great lengths.
Shang Wu drove to the hospital.
Lu Rang waited at the door.
Seeing her approach, she nodded slightly as a greeting: "Ji Yu is undergoing a forensic examination to prove Zhou Yanci's illegal confinement and torture of her."
Shang Wu seemed to be thinking: "Let her do the test first."
Lu Rang took her into the hospital and waited in the ward ahead of time.
Half an hour later, Ji Yu rushed back to the ward. Before even seeing who was in the room, she excitedly said, "Attorney Lu, I got the injury assessment! You have to help me..."

Ji Yu's breathing became slightly labored. Upon hearing about the mysterious and powerful Yu family, all her strength seemed to be drained away.
Shang Wu narrowed her eyes, got up and walked over.
Ji Yu swallowed hard, enduring her emotionless gaze, and unconsciously backed away.
"What...what do you want to do?"
Shang Wu snatched the injury assessment report from her hand and snorted.
"I knew you wouldn't stay put. Yan Ci locked you up to help me get revenge, and you still have the nerve to come out and sue him?"
She gave a haughty, disdainful smile.
Ji Yu was stunned and said incredulously, "You, you think Zhou Yanci locked me up and beat me for your own good, to avenge you?"
She suddenly felt it was absurd.
How could someone be so stupid?
"Otherwise what?"
Shang Wu met her gaze, which looked at her like she was an idiot, and said with a hint of smugness in her tone, "If it weren't for me, Yan Ci wouldn't have taken the risk to do this. Now that you've sneaked out, of course I have to send you back for Yan Ci."
She reached out, pinched Ji Yu's chin with her fingertips, and whispered, "Blame yourself for being so careless, for not even bothering to find out who Lu Rang is working for."
Lu Rang sat quietly to the side, watching with a languid posture.
Ji Yu's breathing became rapid, feeling both annoyed and amused.
She was annoyed that she had contacted the wrong person and hadn't realized that Lu Rang was on Shang Wu's side.
She also wanted to laugh at Shang Wu, who was indeed a top-tier idiot who had been completely manipulated by her and Zhou Yanci. Even now, she still thought that Zhou Yanci was innocent and had never done anything to harm her.
Ji Yu sneered, "Shang Wu, with your IQ, you'll never find out what Zhou Yanci has done in your entire life, right? You think you're lucky to have the best man in the world as your fiancé, and that you should be grateful for the rest of your life and work hard for him!"
Shang Wu's smile faded slightly, and she said warily, "What do you mean? You're being sarcastic."
Ji Yu shook off her hand. She was not happy herself, and she desperately wanted to see Shang Wu fall into the abyss.
She grinned maliciously: "You think dealing with Li Chengzhang is revenge for your brother? Shang Wu, let me tell you the truth, your brother's imprisonment was all arranged by Zhou Yanci to be done by Li Chengzhang! Li Chengzhang wasn't seriously injured by your brother at all!"
Lu Rang raised his eyes.
Shang Wu shook her head in disbelief, took two steps back, and looked utterly devastated.
"Impossible! Don't talk nonsense! Yanci loves me so much, how could she use such insidious means to frame my brother?"
Seeing her panicked state, Ji Yu felt even more pleased and unconsciously said a little more.
"Madam Li is Grandma Zhou Yanci's niece. The Zhou and Li families have a very good relationship and visit each other frequently. Now you understand what I mean, right?"
Shang Wu's face turned pale, and tears welled up in her eyes.
"Then tell me, why did Yan Ci do this? He has no grudge against my brother!"
Ji Yu was about to speak when she closed her mouth again, a hint of wariness flashing in her eyes.
Now that she and Zhou Yanci have broken off relations, since they each have leverage over each other, even if she suffers and gets beaten, her life will not be in danger.
But if she dares to reveal even a trace of the secrets from back then, completely crossing Zhou Yanci's bottom line, then she will not survive no matter what.
Ji Yu snorted, refusing to budge: "How would I know why he did this? Anyway, you used to be grateful to Zhou Yanci for taking care of your family and for his dedication to your brother's lawsuit. Now that you know the truth, do you still think Zhou Yanci is the best in the world?"
Shang Wu fell silent, sitting at the table with a deathly pale face, completely lost and dejected.
Ji Yu felt even more pleased.
Seeing Shang Wu's lifeless state, even if sneaking out would lead to a worse outcome, it didn't matter.
Shang Wu rubbed her forehead and said weakly, "Attorney Lu, make arrangements to send her back."
Ji Yu was taken aback, her smile freezing: "You're going to send me to Zhou Yanci's place? I was just trying to be helpful, I told you the whole truth!"
“I can’t believe what you’re saying, whether it’s true or false. I need to investigate and find concrete evidence.
