Chapter 4 Forced Sex

Shang Wu turned around, poured him a glass of water, and handed it to him: "Don't worry."

Zhou Yanci took it and then put it down, feeling somewhat displeased.

Shang Wu's calm demeanor now stems from the fact that he has had no scandals in the past three years, which has made her believe that he will never leave.

Little did he know that two months later, he would break off the engagement and give Shang Wu a big surprise.

Zhou Yanci narrowed his eyes.

"Okay, don't worry, it's all taken care of."

Shang Wu smiled and showed him the video sent out by the public relations department.

In the comments, Zhou Yanci's image was preserved.

[I knew it! President Zhou loves Shang Wu so much, there's no way he could be having an affair with other women!]

[These unscrupulous media outlets are really obsessed with clicks! That's Zhou Yanci, the man who loves his fiancée so much he'd give everything! They're truly in love, and no one can interfere.]

Zhou Yanci smiled absentmindedly, her gaze fixed on Shang Wu.

When Shang Wu got home, she had already changed her clothes. She was wearing a silk nightgown, and her skin was white and delicate, with an alluring luster under the light.

Over the past three years, no matter how close they were, Shang Wu was always unwilling to let him touch her.

He hadn't completely taken possession of Shang Wu yet, and he kicked her out like that; it felt a bit of a pity.

Zhou Yanci's Adam's apple bobbed slightly, and his gaze grew even more intense: "Awu, you look so beautiful today."

Shang Wu keenly sensed his intention and reminded him, "The stock is fluctuating; why don't you go to the company and take a look?"

"No."

Zhou Yanci looked up, sat on the sofa, and took her wrist: "I won't leave tonight, I'll stay here with you, okay?"

Shang Wu froze, her faint smile almost crumbling: "Didn't I tell you, we should save this for the wedding?"

"What's the difference between us now and being married?"

Zhou Yanci was unwilling to give up and shook her hand: "Once Uncle recovers, it will be at most half a month before we can discuss the wedding date. It's been three years, Awu, don't make me wait any longer."

Shang Wu stopped smiling and pursed her lips slightly: "Yes, we've waited three years, can't we even wait for the last half month?"

She looked down at Zhou Yanci, her innate aloofness emanating from her, like a crescent moon hanging high in the sky.

This made Zhou Yanci's little scheme completely exposed.

His brows furrowed, and he angrily pulled Shang Wu down.

Shang Wu was caught off guard and fell into his arms.

Zhou Yanci coaxed her in her ear, "Let's stop arguing, Awu, give it to me."

Shang Wu turned her head away, angrily pushing him away: "Don't do this, let go first..."

"Shh, if you love me, don't refuse me."

Zhou Yanci gripped her waist tightly, found the nightgown strap with his index finger, and pulled hard!

His pajamas were loose, and he thought he would see a glimpse of spring, but he didn't expect that Shang Wu was wearing a tight-fitting camisole under her loose nightgown.

Taking the opportunity, Shang Wu pushed him away, sat up, and hurriedly re-tied the bandages, her face full of rejection: "Today is really not the right time, Yan Ci. I hope you can give me more respect."

Zhou Yanci's appetite was whetted; the more unattainable something was, the more she wanted it.

Shang Wu's resistant expression, in particular, fueled his desire to conquer her.

He reached out and hugged Shang Wu from behind, ignoring her words and continuing to soothe her: "I'll go slower, I won't hurt you, okay?"

A hint of anger flickered across Shang Wu's usually cold face: "Didn't you hear what I said? I don't want to, I'm unwilling."

The tenderness in Zhou Yanci's eyes vanished instantly, and he pursed his thin lips: "Why do we have to wait? I love you so much, and I can't wait to marry you. What else do you have to worry about?"

"I don't want to, can you even understand what I'm saying?" Shang Wu's tone suddenly turned cold.

This was the first time in three years that she had a verbal conflict with Zhou Yanci.

Zhou Yanci was stunned and didn't know how to respond.

The tense standoff was broken by the urgent ringing of a cell phone.

The cell phone on the table was buzzing as it vibrated.

It was a call from a shareholder.

The first stock price fluctuation in Chengzhou Group in three years was enough to alarm the entire board of directors.

Zhou Yanci took the phone with displeasure.

Shang Wu stood up and distanced herself from him, glancing at the combination lock on the door.

It's time to change the locks.

It appears that this situation will continue to occur within the next two months.

"Okay, I'll go right away."

Zhou Yanci hung up the phone and looked up to see that Shang Wu's face was red with anger. He suddenly realized that he had gone too far because he was too hasty.

He stood up, grabbed his coat, and went to pull Shang Wu away: "A-Wu..."

Shang Wu stepped back to avoid his touch, her eyes showing obvious wariness.

Zhou Yanci felt a pang of unease: "I have to go to the company. You're right, today is indeed not the right time. I was just confused earlier, please don't hold it against me, okay?"

Shang Wu didn't want to see him for even a second longer, and forced herself to say, "Go."

Zhou Yanci gave her a deep look, then picked up his car keys and left.

The apartment fell silent.

Shang Wu smoothed out the wrinkles on the sofa and threw the cup Zhou Yanci had used into the trash can.

After discovering Zhou Yanci's true colors, she found every minute unbearable.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Shang Wu thought it was Zhou Yanci coming back to get something, so she went over and opened the door, only to be met with Ji Yu's bright smile.
