Lu Yuwu went directly to the college office and found the teacher in charge of study abroad applications.
She took a deep breath and used all her strength to say her decision.
"Teacher, I have decided to accept the offer. Could you please help me with the remaining procedures?"
"That's right! If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate for a second! Nothing is more important than my future!"
The teacher was happy for her and congratulated her repeatedly, then took out the relevant forms for her to fill out.
Lu Yuwu picked up the pen, her fingertips trembling slightly, and wrote her name on the form stroke by stroke.
Each word is like a faint mark etched on my heart.
After she filled out the form and handed it to the teacher, the early summer sun was a bit dazzling as she walked out of the office building.
Lu Yuwu stood on the steps, her eyes slightly narrowed.
She felt empty inside, as if she had accomplished something great, but had also lost something important.
Just then, a familiar figure came into her view.
"Little Fog".
Lu Yuwu was taken aback and looked up.
Fu Yan stood not far away and walked towards her, looking somewhat anxious.
Lu Yuwu's heart skipped a beat, and she instantly lost her composure.
She never expected to run into Fu Yan here, let alone that he would come looking for her.
She thought that Fu Yan stormed out last night because he had tacitly agreed to break up and was unwilling to wait for her for three years.
Lu Yuwu took a deep breath.
She didn't want to passively wait for his verdict any longer, so she took a deep breath and walked quickly to Fu Yan.
Before he could speak, Lu Yuwu spoke quickly, saying, "Fu Yan, it's good to have met you. I've thought it through. I've submitted my application to study in Paris. It's my dream, and I have to go."
“Three years is a long time, I know. If you feel you can’t accept it or don’t want to wait, I respect and understand any decision you make.”
Lu Yuwu finished speaking in one breath, not daring to look into Fu Yan's eyes, for fear of seeing even the slightest bit of indifference in them.
She was prepared to hear Fu Yan propose breaking up; she lowered her head, even breathing became difficult.
However, Lu Yuwu suddenly heard a soft laugh.
Fu Yan looked at her trembling slightly, but instead of being angry, a faint smile flashed in his eyes.
He stepped forward, closing the distance between them, and stared intently at Lu Yuwu.
Lu Yuwu blinked, puzzled.
Fu Yan's voice was deep: "I know you're definitely going to choose to study abroad."
Lu Yuwu stared at him in astonishment.
Fu Yan continued, "I went back yesterday and told my parents that I had applied to Sciences Po for a master's program, and they have already given me an offer. The paperwork is being processed, so there shouldn't be any problems."
Lu Yuwu's eyes widened instantly, staring at him in disbelief: "You, you went to take care of this yesterday?"
Fu Yan couldn't help but smile slightly: "Otherwise what? Wherever you go, I'll go. I won't separate from you, and I certainly won't be in a long-distance relationship with you."
"..." Lu Yuwu was completely stunned, her mind went blank.
He wasn't angry, nor was he trying to break up; rather, he had applied to a school in Paris so he could go with her.
Lu Yuwu's eyes reddened, and she buried herself in Fu Yan's arms, tightly hugging his waist with both hands, and cried with her face buried in his chest.
"You scared me to death! I thought you didn't want me anymore, I thought you were angry..."
Why didn't you reply to my messages? Why didn't you tell me sooner?
She cried and made incoherent accusations.
Fu Yan's heart softened at her crying, and he quickly tightened his arms, holding her tightly in his embrace.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault. My phone died last night, and I only saw your message when I got home. I thought it would be better to explain things to you in person today since there's a result now."
"I'm sorry I startled you. I'll communicate with you more promptly next time."
Fu Yan gently patted Lu Yuwu's back, letting her vent her emotions in his arms.
How could he bear to leave her? His plans and future were already filled with Lu Yuwu's name.
And just then, not far away...
Shang Wu and Lu Rang happened to witness this scene.
They were worried about Lu Yuwu's mental state and thought they would come over to check on her, but they didn't expect to see the two of them already talking.
Lu Yuwu cried like a child in Fu Yan's arms, and Fu Yan patiently and gently comforted her.
The scene was so beautiful that one didn't want to disturb it.
Shang Wu and Lu Rang stopped, exchanged a smile, their eyes filled with relief, and did not go forward to disturb them.
She couldn't help but sigh, "Actually, I never thought they could be together. They are well-matched in terms of social status and childhood sweethearts, but growing up together must have lost its novelty. I never expected that they would actually end up together."
Lu Rang found it somewhat amusing and reached out to rub Shang Wu's head.

Shang Wu felt a warmth in her heart and deliberately teased him, "You really want to know?"
Lu Rang nodded without hesitation: "Yes."
"There is one thing I feel you haven't done well enough."
Lu Rang raised an eyebrow: "What is it? You've been holding back for so long to tell me. Just say it."
